@@ShoreManDocFishing they’re great man especially on a yak the mag seals are awesome. I’m mainly on my boat now but used to do a ton of surf and yak fishing so sealed was a must and these mq saltists have been the most reliable sealed reels I’ve ever had ever more reliable then my vs150 and vs200sxp that need service all the time. The saltists haven’t needed an ounce of maintenance but I do just clean and grease and lube in the off season once a year usually. Should do great for you especially the mq like over the older original one idk anyone who’s disliked them and actually used them for some time. Love the content man I’m out in somerspoint and ocean city ge inlet in a 19’ hydrasports named “ mama flukes “ out there atleast 3-4 times a week but head into ac and brigantine area also maybe will see you around some time

Great video. Congrats on the sheephead. I have been trying to get one for 2 years. Were you fishing on the bottom or in the middle of the water column? How deep was the water?
Thanks man. I was fishing the water column, I think that water was about 30ft no more than 40ft. I’d drop like 5ft of line then stop and hold and then drop again if nothing bites.

Thanks man and yeah it’s the mq 2500. That’s wassup mine haven’t seen much abuse but it handled these fish with ease. Im liking mine too so far.

When jigging for Sheepshead, are you dropping all the way down to the bottom or letting the jighead float above the bottom? Thanks.
