With your thoughts on time travelling to the empire of Paldea they could technically prequel Scarlet/Violet with a Legends title that focuses on the Paldean past and maybe go the extra step with a companion title that focuses on future Paldea. The fact that the Time Machine room is illuminated again after witnessing the AI leave and finding the Scarlet/Violet book in the academy makes me wonder if we have not seen the end of the Time Machine being used. I was also wondering of the possibility of a sequel where it is revealed who the financial backer was behind the professors research and what their agenda would could be. I would suspect Silph Co seeing their master balls were used by the professors. My legendary thought on the DLC. If we get a third legendary to compliment Koraidon/Miraidon it might be based in the present day to balance out the ancient/future paradox legendaries.
Andorra is in the middle of the Pyrenees with no access to the sea and it is too small on the map to be considered the extended area that is greyed out in the Paldean map. The area north of Paldea resembles the region known as Occitania, not Andorra. Also, we should consider that Kalos does not match full France completely, only the middle to north section.
DLC could be about time travelling. After all there is countless copies of the violet/scarlet book in the academy and we could use any of them to activate the time machine again. Also, we don't know how the past/future versions of Donphan and the others have been in Area Zero for so long, they have been seen for the very first time 200 years ago according to the books we can read in the academy. We could also meet Heath and play a role into the first expedition that had to reach the bottom of Area Zero and that has been successfull.

DLC wise I think this I what’s going to happen: 1.) Area Zero focused 2.)Shaded off area (Andorra). I could see them doing it in either order.

Time traveling would make 100 % sense. I also wonder if in the dlc we may have a chance to save the professor from incident in research lab 4
