    Hello sir. I will be starting my post graduate certificate in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by Spring of 2024. It is a hybrid format here in NYS. I am turning 40 years old this year. Am I old to go back to Nurse practitioner school? Thank you.

      No way are you too old! I was in my 50's when I started nursing school! Just remember the ROI of your time and investment. Do you plan to work long enough to make the time and money worth it? My guess is you have at least 15 or 20 years to work AFTER your certification. That should be a good ROI! That aside, if this is the direction you want to go in your career and you have a passion for it, then age is really not a factor. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and comment. I will still be working full time during weekends while doing my post graduate certificate in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. It will take me 17mos to finish.. Yes I already have subscribed sir. ☺
