Levi, what happened to that guy who was afraid of solo camping? So much courage in your camping and ADHD content. Yes to the umbrella rig. Would love an update video on the shipping container and welding/fabrication setup.
@@Levi_Allen Fear holds so many people back, there might be a bit of content in that for you. You're path through fear to having these experiences at the other end. Love what you do, don't take the nay sayers too much to heart, and keep making things. 🙌
Dude as much as I appreciate your videos, I would love to get the "geek" side. Whenever I watch these I'm always mindful that we don't see the shots of you setting up the shots. A tech video would be fun!
I've known about you and your videos for a while, and they are beautiful, but I became a true fan from your podcast. Thank you so much for the realness, I can't even tell you how much they've helped me 💛
Usually I am not that type of guy who is writing comments but I really have to say - I do love your videos! You have super calming and positive "effect" on me. By the way, I like it when you talk in your videos, because this gives me the feeling that I am with you in that beautiful nature and not just sitting here in good old Nuremberg (Germany) procrastinating my graphic-design job :D Love your stuff! Tschüssi Ciao for now!
Dang Levi first you tease us with that sweet orange "Leftcoast Supply Co" t-shirt and that sweet "Life's Better when you make stuff" sticker! ARGH when are you going to SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!?!
Hey Levi, i got to be honest i watch your channel for adventure and personality. But mainly for inspiration regarding filmmaking. Really like the «just abit behind the scenes» vibes of your videoes. Its like a video of an adventure, with a «dash» og filmmaking. Hehe, anyway. Much love, best wishes. Holmen.
if you are expecting any sun, the small fold out solar panels that charge things via usbC are also incredibly helpful for topping up the portable batteries during daylight hours. not super helpful with overcast
Once again you are such in inspiration. I just produced my first splitboarding & my first drone video, all in one. I am making things happen. Because life is better when you make stuff. I love it. I’m living it.
Hi i'm much newer to your channel, but I thoroughly enjoy it. I've never actually been snowboarding but I'm quite jealous of your skis that turn into the board. Also i just wanted to say thanks for making the content that you do.
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have so many cameras that you could gps them and leave them behind and come back and get them on the way out and not have to backtrack and go get them after the shot? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Great video as always and just kindling as I get the realities and all of your hard work shooting these videos.
I would like to see a video on your umbrella camera mount system. I don't think I've seen anyone else do a video like that, and I'd find it highly useful.
Wonderful tent for the conditions (BA's hometown has 350cm snow so far this season, and is right next to the aptly named Storm Peak; they know how to do it! 2nd-best tree skiing in Colorado, too). The right-sized but bomber tent left enough weight capacity on your back for camera gear to take us along, too. I call that winning on all fronts.
I'd love to see an umbrella video, as well as how you get some of your walking shots. I know it's a lot of work to go back and forth to get your camera when filming yourself, but I imagine you have some tips to make it easier. Did you get some shots after setting up your tent? I saw a light in the background of one clip.
We loved the video, Levi. And we love hearing you talk. We subscribed to the Levi Show! Would love to learn more about your tips on filming in the winter. We could use them over here in Manitoba!
I'd love to see your umbrella set up for your cameras. I shoot outside a lot and am worried that I'm going to get water in to my a7siii, so this would help a lot!
Good evening Levi, it’s good to see you friend. Thanks for this video, it was perfectly timed for me. I have just discovered this band Maneskin and I have been bingeing everything on TH-cam about them for the past 2 nights. And those nights I have struggled to fall asleep. Just been singing there songs in my head. And tonight I need to be able to sleep and I remembered I hadn’t watched your latest video. This was just great, just what I needed. I will sleep tonight and be fresh as a daisy for tomorrow (Friday) and be able to rock out to them again. Haha. Thanks mate.
That was fun! I was going to bed(Norway) and I got a notification about this video so had to watch it now. Nice to end the day on a positive note, thanks Levi! :) btw good tip about the "Dead mans ancker".
Great Video! And I would love to see a video with tips for making videos in these kind of winter conditions. So yes, defenitly interested in the umbrella video :-)
Great video, Levi! I always enjoy getting a little peek into your adventures. I honestly would love to see a deep dive into your filmmaking tips/tricks for the backcountry and harsh conditions - I'm also making adventure films but rarely see snow where I live so that wisdom is so helpful for me and helps me when I do take trips into the colder climates. Keep making things and doing what you love, I sure appreciate what you do. Hope to see you on the trail someday, take care 👋
I love your winter videos Levi! I've also filmed a few and man are they more difficult than summer videos. Also got to laugh at a comments from time to time. +1 on a quick video on your film setup for winter. Take care!
Another great video, keep them.coming, I'd be very invested in your umbrella tips, I'm just about to take the plunge into making videos and content for youtube, it can be bit daunting watching seasoned TH-cam'rs turning out high quality videos and then trying to make your own videos to a high enough standard 👍
I mean as much as of a fan of summer tents on summits during the winter a hot tent would be awesome to see. Been in a massive rabbit hole of those lately on TH-cam. Side note ( been a huge fan of your content since I met Spencer at smith before his solo)
This was a great video levi and solo camping trips are high on my list for this year just to get away from the day to day rat race. I for one would to see the umbrella setup I'm filming my mountain bike film this year and at time we get alot rain here in the uk.
Solo trips really open up opportunities. I was scared to camp alone for years, and getting over that has been really helpful for me. Now I don't have excuses to not get outside once a month minimum
Loved this mate! The intro scene with the chill music was absolutely stunning. I can’t believe people say you talk too much, I thought it was a great balance so keep being you. Also very keen for umbrella video, I was watching like “how does this guy get those clean shots while it’s snowing?!” And you answered it. Question though: what are you using to record your audio? Is it a tentacle system or some other lav mic setup? Sounds clean! Thanks
Great video, as always. Wow, is that gorgeous and so well captured. I'd like to know about the umbrella setup, too. BTW, I appreciate the Anker sponsor segment. Good to know.
Here were my thoughts when you used your tent on that windy summit. “Wow, the tent didn’t get destroyed, I’m buying one” 😂 So I bought one and it’s great! It’s also less than half the weight of my old 2 person tent. I’ve only used it a few times but I’m off on a Solo bikepacking trip this weekend and can’t wait! Cheers!
@@Levi_Allen I just remembered I was going to let you know how the trip went. I ended up having some amazing weather. Well amazing for Australia. Super foggy and I absolutely loved it. The tent held up well in some wet and windy conditions, (nothing compared to your mountain top adventure) Thanks for the inspiration for a solo filming trip. ✌️I ended up taking an umbrella for my camera but too much effort while riding a bike. th-cam.com/video/42STkYyxYi0/w-d-xo.html
Your right! After all that talk about tents I never mentioned it. It’s the big Agnes copper spur bike packing tent. Pricy, but I really like the volume inside and the shorter poles.
I hold the tripod with the other hand. Saves a lot of time between tripod setups and tear downs, especially when terrain isn’t that steep so the benefit of poles is less.
That shred at the end was sweet
I like to add a small can of tuna in my mac and cheese for a boost of protein and flavor. 😊
Umbrella video for sure!! Thank you for another engaging and entertaining video Levi!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thumbs up for umbrella video 👍👍 And an extra thumb for this video 👍
6 seconds in and had to stop to say how beautiful the shots and colors are.

Man… that landscape is beautiful.
I like your rambling, I think it’s cool. You try to let people know what and why you do.
Yes please an umbrella video! Sydney AUS doesn't get much snow 🤣, however the main umbrella usage is sun and rain.

you can easily paracord one of the 10-20w panels to your bag while hiking or onto your tent during the day amzn.to/3WOeP9b
