- Went out with the Addicted Angler and Diego on the Des Plaines river for some fish! Anyone know why I missed so many fish?!

Great Video and Footage as always.
Nice video man - well done, well edited, well bleeped!
Love that slow mo frog blowup. Great day out there man.
Thanks man! I wanted a topwater fish so bad that day..
I feel your pain on the missed fish. I had a day like that not to long ago. Good video, sometimes we don't catch every fish so it's good to see that as well.
Thanks! At first it was frustrating, but then got kinda funny when I lost over 5
great stuff man!
Thanks!
Nice Video!
Sometimes they get away (I recently posted a video of just the fish I've filmed escaping for the year). Still looks like a nice day on the river.
Thank! It was a fun day for sure!
Look great
Thanks man!
Awesome were do you guys park and drop in at? if you dont mind me askin
How far down on the canal is the waterfall? Running north or south of bridge?
I live right by that spot on old Lemont road there’s no small mouth in there it’s carp catfish pike and large mouth
I go kayaking there a few weeks ago, nice to know where the bass hide !!
Don't steal my spots :)
Thats It, We're Goin Fishin! Where is this spot? Haha would love to know! Just bought a kayak!
No worries
If it's a kvd strike king then it's the hooks
Would it be easy to launch a small 10ft 2 man pelican boat over there?
Looks like the Santa Fe caboose area.
I often get a rash on my hands if I touch the moss in this area. I get tired of videos that don't mention the location.
Sorry to hear that haha!
What’s the depth in the middle of the bridge? Thanks Jim
Depends on water level. If we get a lot of rain over chest high. When it’s low, it’s only like knee deep
Got a row boat and wondering if I can make it down to the bridge without grounding out.
Where do you plan on launching?
Was thinking in Alsip or Worth ramp on cal- sag. Motor down towards Lemont, then hopefully over to Des Plaines
Instead of going upstream go downstream and fish around the I-355 bridge. I usually get into a ton of largemouth, smallmouth, Pike and even once a walleye.
Do you park down by 355? I gotta try that!
Thats It, We're Goin Fishin! I'm 15 so I bike using veterans memorial trail and fish the bank or wade it. If you want to kayak i don't think there's a place close enough to park and transport a kayak so I think you should just kayak downstream to the bridge and fish along the way because I've caught smallmouth downstream from lemont road too.
Thanks! I'll give that spot a try soon. We need some rain though, the river is super low..
Thats It, We're Goin Fishin! The river is the best when it is low, best fishing imo especially on the des plains river and yes the spot down river is good, right where the inlet from goose lake is 👍 I posted a video on my channel from Christmas pike fishing, had some nice fat pike caught there.
I'd rather catch northern pike over all other species of fish. How can you not like catching northern pike? Are you crazy?
Hey I live close to that spot what are some good spots?
I usually fish by the bridge there or down the river a bit!
If it's a kvd strike king then it's the hooks
It is! What hooks should I swap to?
Is that the Lockport bridge?
THis is in lemont! Where is the bridge in Lockport?
