Nice northern! I have one spot really close to my house with a Hobo living in a tent right on it....grrrrr. They are really clean, and they might be an alright person, but I just don't feel like dealing with them so I don't fish there. I went down to the spot once this winter the day after it was negative 15 degrees to see if they were still there and sure enough they were.
Them gnats are awful! They do this out in Oklahoma too, get so thick it's like a black cloud. I recommend a thermacell! Great Pike, never caught one but looks like a blast. Tight lines my friend!
Lovely Pike to start off the 2017 season! sadly where i'm from, we only have Chain Pickerel lol. If only we had Pike and Largemouth Bass where I lived lol

Thanks! That happened to me right up the river! I made a cast and turned around to like a 3 bedroom hut built in the woods. Pretty sketchy stuff.
