This is evidence that phones have become so fast you can't discern the difference between generations.
People need to realise...that phones have become so powerful in the last 3-4 years that any flagship you own from a few years ago will be able to handle anything...you don't need to upgrade to the latest one unless there is something specific in that phone you really need.

From a note 8 or note 9 to note 20 ultra, I'd say go for it. Note 10 plus to note 20 ultra it's debatable to me there isn't much of a difference other than the camera improvement, the newer snapdragon chipset and the 120 hz refresh rate. Those are the only few differences that stands out. I have a note 10 plus and I'm not saying that I wouldn't upgrade to the note 20 ultra some day especially if samsung decides to finish away with the note series completely but just maybe note 10 plus to s21 ultra maybe a better option. That's my opinion.

Still watching on my beast note 9. You can buy it for 400$ now and this makes it better than the note 20/ultra and note 10/+. Again, small differences between
Note 9 and note 10+ and note 20 ultra for this time too, if ur considering to have the highest version software, you can buy a note 10, note 20.
But in case if you want a phone similar performances like this, then go for the note9 snapdragon. It at least has a headphone jack that everyone loves it

Small difference between note 9 and note 10+? Have you even seen those phones side by side? Note 9 looks ancient in comparison to note 10+ and note 20U.
I noticed the battery on the Note 20 drained slightly faster than on the Note 10. Honestly. They're both good phones, but I like the Note 10 slightly better. If the Note 20 didn't have that huge camera bump, I'd consider it. I know there's a case that can minimize the bump, but I'm a stickler for looks as well.
Even Samsung's Budget phones are powerful in RAM management.. 😘

In terms of opening apps almost all cellphones in the last 5 yrs are the same. The difference is in the camera if your into that. Better gpu for games. Ram for holding more apps open. And in the notes case better spen performance.
Greetings from Hong Kong. Just got my new Note 10+ yesterday (16-1-2022). It’s hard to find but still available if you dig deep around here in HK. Apparently, only black and white ones are available. I chose the black one. It’s a 12G ROM 256G RAM, dual sim 4G version, not 5G. But who needs the 5G transmission? It’s US$533.3 (HK$4160). I traded in my 2-yr old A71 at US$179.5 (HK$1400). So, finally paid US$354. For a brand new Note 10+, I think my decision was right.
The phone is great. I’ve got the latest software upgraded to One UI v3.1 which is the latest version. I can even link it to my PC wirelessly with Samsung Dex. That is great as well. In fact, if not because of the need to work under the windows environment, Note 10+ can replace a PC if hooked wirelessly to a monintor and then with mouse and Keyboard.
The S-Pen is great and it’s the main reason I am buying the note series. Note 20 Ultra does not worth the price. A mere 128G for the 20 ultra compared to 256G is no brainer not-to-choose decision, even though the battery is 4500mh vs 4300.
Probably, will only need to upgrade 2-3 years later.

I guess the only upgrade is the very slightly non relevant screen size bump, but I am attracted to the zoom and the refresh rate. The colors and design is also decent on the note 20.
There is the yawn-worthy 5G in the Note 20 Ultra. It is not very impressive. The commercials make it look amazing. It is only marginally faster. I question why the effort to make 5G when it offers so little.

Why wouldn't you do the 10+5g. Because mine clocks at 2.96 on single core. I have had my note10+5g for two years now and it's been a beast at all things. Great battery life still also

Both are almost identical in speed and processor. Camera makes the difference.
I can tell the people who say the 10+ is better than the 20U haven't experienced the 120Hz refresh rate. I just got the Note20 Ultra today and the smoothness is so out of this world, I can't imagine using a smartphone without it. I made the right choice by upping my budget for this beauty.
I wouldn't mind the periscope zoom capability but I'm gonna keep my Note 10+ this year. Plus I'm still digging the Aura Glow.
The 120hz isn't a big deal to me.

The two main reasons to upgrade from a flagship nowadays is either planned obsolescence or tasks that put super heavy load on the device, I don't think this test adequately displays the difference in processing power. Give a body builder and a 12 year old each one pound weights and they'll both do as many curls as you tell them to, give them fifty pound weights you'll get very different results.

I did not see much increase of a performance to upgrade to the s20 ultra.
Made the decision to blow off the N20U for another new N10+ over a year ago. No regrets. N10+ gets much better SOT than all the newer Samsung flagship phones including the S22U... with a smaller battery. Better form factor and balance. The beast runs like a bat out of hell.
I would like to upgrade to the Note 20 Ultra, but with each comparison I watch I see that the only differences are the 120Hz of the screen, 0.1 inches more and cameras with more megapixels that in many cases do not mean more quality. My Note 10 Plus will stay with me for a while, until the prices of the new line have dropped a lot ...

I have the galaxy 9 plus which is a great phone well pretty good all of the 2 yrs I had it. it did start to actvionsome towards the last few mo ths but still better then my previous nlg phone ugh never going back. I have both and the 865+ is not impressive when compared to the 865 and even the 855 when especially knowing that the latest has ufs 3.1 whilst the 10+ has ufs 3.0. What I think is that the upfs 3.1 is what made the ultra open the games a bit before tbh. Both are gems of a device though 👌 Well done for sweet speed test Mr. Iiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnn 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
u have this result cuz all the apps u tested are running perfectly since sd 845 i think so if u want to see a diff u need a 4k export video or stuff that is very demanding ..in every day apps usage u'r not gonna notice any difference it's like runing GTA SA on ps3 vs ps4

I'm amazed how Note 10 plus is a better phone now than when it was launched. Because of good software updates. Nice Samsung! The Note 20 ultra surely with get improved with the updates in the future.
Just goes to show what I thought all along. Samsung really didn't try with the Note 20. They didn't even bother to make a decent color. That, plus no noticeable difference in performance, and that hideous camera mountain on the back... 👎They better bring something awesome with the Note 21, or I'll be keeping my 10 Plus again.
beautiful to see only in the shop. Support from samsung is very bad and unfortunately the phone is very fragile. the glass breaks even without falling or taking bumps. Don't buy Samsung phones especially if they have curved glass ... they break easily

I'm still using my Galaxy Note 9 as a secondary number. My Note 10 Plus is my main phone! The best smartphone I have ever owned!! And seeing this comparison, the only three ways I'd upgrade to a Note 20 Ultra is 120Hz capacity, and the fact that it's slightly bigger and heavier. Also, the much better camera.

You can't compare speed like that. You will obviously always going to have a hand that is slightly slower than the other one. So its not a fair match for the phones to compare speed.
