I think there is no such thing as TMI when it comes to pregnancy. It’s better to let the people know. I’m pregnant with my first and I appreciate all the honesty I can get.
I’m in the same boat as both of you lol I’m pregnant with my first and I would rather find out what I am gonna experience now then be surprised and not know what to do lol
True stuff! All needed things. Just FYI, no matter what, stool softeners are absolutely needed. Even if you don't tear, your first poo after delivery is awful. I used mine until after the first 4 weeks with both my daughters. Another thing is my nurses gave me ibuprofen and tylenol after delivery. The ibuprofen was a absolute life saver after my second. Cause i did tear, ugh! Also something to have is Soothies and nipple cream! But the peri bottle and the derma blast and the witch hazel pads. YYyyyyeeeessssss! And ice packs for you business end! Total essentials!
I had third degree tearing and stool softener was a must! As were all these other products. Don’t wait to take the stool softener ! My cousin is a nurse and she also suggested using a soft cloth dampened with warm water held against your stitches/areas when you poop to help ease the pain and ease it out. Pooping postpartum is terrifying
You can get the spray at any store. I have bought it and tucks pads as gifts just for mommy for baby showers. I normally make gift box with lots of things just for mom. Everyone gets caught up in getting everything for the baby ( I’m guilty of this as well lol) but we forget to get something to help the new mommy. I will include cute hand written free babysitting “coupons” for parents date night as well.
Aaaaw, that's very sweet! I'm about to have my 5th baby and I wish I would've had someone do that for me.... I've never had a baby shower 😔 tho I wanted one
I just had my son 3 days ago and im not sore or swollen i have 1 small tear and im hatdly bleeding. But i watched this before i gave birth and was so scared but im glad i dont need all of that stuff
I gave birth 16 years ago to my daughter we had a long gap and now I’m giving birth to my second child and let me tell you all of the items in this video that she talks about are truly necessary and yes take as much home with you as they will give you
Im about to give birth this week for my first time and don't know what to expect but these videos really help me in terms of knowing what to do. Thank you for all your tips!!!
💟 your vlog...I also had a vaginal birth along with a third degree tear...I wish I would of seen your video when I had my 👶🏻 because everything you are sharing I can so relate with. -Great tips for first time moms👌🏻
look at you girl, got your lashes and makeup up, looking gorgeous!!! :D ! Great tips! Love Witch Hazel for so many reasons! hahaha I forgot all about padsicles, thanks for the reminder girl ;-) !! LOVED those huge ass pads too, I wore those for quite some time and made sure they gave me a ton before I left, it’s funny the things we block out haha. Love ya girl!! I feel like your recovery is already flying by ;-)
Wow i can see that we all have different experiences. I did not like mine at all. The hospital did not give me nothing at all. No panties, no pads, no peri bottle, nothing for the baby only hat and blanket. Not having a peri bottle after stitches was truly horrible@@@ I felt like every single video that i did watch on you tube was amazing with a better experience than mine. I really hope they will improve with the time so no-one will feel like me.
How long did it take you to start feeling better and recovering. I seriously went through the same thing with my labor and I’ve been hurting big time. I just want to start feeling better to fully enjoy my baby
I'm so sorry that you're going something similar. It was about 8 weeks until I could walk and 16 weeks until I felt like "normal." I took Tylenol, used a lot of witch hazel on pads to help soothe, and Dermoplast.. all that helped tremendously! Hope you start to feel better soon!
I’ve seen all your videos about your pregnancy and im so sorry.. it seems like you had a terrible time Both in labor and after.. Hope your doing Better now!
I wish my doctors give me them pads lol I'm 17 had my first baby and tore with 1st and 2nd degree tears and I bled alot in the first day when I stayed overnight in hospital (we only stay 1 night if u have to stay some people don't) and I was given just normal thick period pads 😂 it's been 8 days since I had my daughter and I don't really bleed any more but still have so much pain from stitches
got really really bad tears nd a hematoma in my first delivery bcz I went 4 an epidural so couldn't feel the pain nd urge to push... I'm 3 months pregnant with my second baby... really worried abt tears this time... should I get epidural this time ??? Will I b getting tears again?? Is it necessary to get tears againnn once u get them???
Sayra Zafar77obknhjg6 I think most ppl tear their first time around just Bc those muscles have never stretched like that I wouldn’t worry ab getting another epidural Bc ur chances of tearing this time are pretty slim from what I’ve seen from birth vlogs and such so go ahead and get one
I didn’t have an epidural with my first and I tore but very very small … being able to feel the urge to push and control it does help a lot but I think most people tare with first baby … going natural may help u not tare or help to keep the tare small… depending on situation… my sister had 4th degree with 1at baby and no epidural but he was almost 10 pounds my baby was only 6.6
It’s a surgical cut so yes would be painful, also suggested after a certain amount of time to do a light massage on the area to help with the scarring. Bleeding should be minimal is it opens and is bleeding a lot you need to go back to the hospital. That’s a bad sign and the incision is open. Some women can get infections from this so need to be careful and allow wound to heal while checking with dr - what is safer.
Chefdoevre Delgado her videos actually kinda helped me a little I mean I’m still terrified lol but her being so upfront and saying what could happen let’s me be more aware and more educated about giving birth. It’s my first baby so that’s another fear added to the rest. When are you due?

Katelyn Coker Same!! My first too and I was educated today! I’d rather know than be surprised.
I’m in the same boat as both of you lol I’m pregnant with my first and I would rather find out what I am gonna experience now then be surprised and not know what to do lol
Totally agree
Agreed
Me too I'm due in March and just ready to do this thang
Yes!! Take as MUCH as you can from the hospital! The pads from there are life-savers 👌🏻 Great tips!!

Thank you for being as real even if TMI. Really helped!!

Glad I'm not the only one. My youngest will be 15 when I have my baby this fall.
Agreed. Peri bottle so necessary for sure. Derma Plast for sure necessary
Good video. You reminded me of all the stuff I forgot 3rd child due in 2 weeks and 9 years after my last one so THANKS !

Check with your doctor on using ice down there. Mine wanted me to stop after the second day to promote blood flow for healing.
Wish I had pads like the large one you had, they gave me smaller ones lol. Loved the mesh underwear though :)

Im pregnant with my first child I need this I need to know this!!!
I would never have survived without my witch hazel.
I put mine into a Tupperware and froze them a week ahead
What are the names of the hospital pads that you got I’ve never seen those before and I definitely could use them
I’ve seen all your videos about your pregnancy and im so sorry.. it seems like you had a terrible time Both in labor and after.. Hope your doing Better now!

Everyone is different when they have a babies the hospital gives out good supplies to use at home
I loved the mesh underwear so much!!!
I Still have some mesh under wear from last year.
Thank you
People who work with invalids, etc. call them Chuck pads since you Chuck them after they are dirty. Good video.
Did stool softener affect baby’s stool?
Did you do epidural anestesia?
Thank you so much for your transparency. #NewMom
Been wearing them for 8 months lol I pee myself alot especially when I throw up. Lol
Gensunheit !
Hollly shiii... I heard 4th degree tear and it hurt my booty 😭

Order from online Wal-Mart and amazon has it
Solarcaine is Canada's version!
@@liz.scully thnk you so much!

I wander if it still gets sore or irritated even when you have c-section any one know ?
The incision site, yes. Not your vagina though because nothing came out of it. You will still bleed though.

@@MermaidSa91 actually it depends on if you labored for a while before have a C-section. If you did, you can still be quite sore/irritated down there.
Yea my best friends incision cut bothers her from time to time especially if she is lifting heavy objects
