@Savvi C Yeah i agree. And the reality is that as much as we might think Tayshia deserved her own full season, if this hadnt happened she likely wouldnt have gotten any season at all. So i honestly think she lucked out that things worked out as they did. Its still a great opportunity for her. And really Clare only got kind of close to 2 of the remaining guys. (I do hope they bring back some guys though, so that she has more options.) But I do think this is a great group of guys. None of them seem like theyre totally fake or douches. Anyway I'm hopeful she meets her match. I think theres a good chance of it. Shes such a catch. I know there are going to be guys excited when they see her walk in. Cant wait to see it. 😊

That awkward moment when Clare sort of Juan Pablo-ed her own season. She disrespected and acted awful towards the rest of the guys. She has no self awareness. And poor Dale! So much pressure on him. I can't imagine them lasting...
I don't know. I think it would have been more disrespectful to them if she had kept going despite already knowing she was in love with Dale. That would really have been just leading them on.

This felt so awkward and forced by Clare. They both said they were "falling in love" at the date, and then when Chris asked the next morning if they were "in love" she said yes of course. I literally felt like Dale was being held hostage lol.
I said that too watching the episode i was like but you guys said u were falling in love but then i thought they had an overnight stay together so they mightve just said they were in love with each other during sex

When Clare was telling him how she felt i swear Dale looked like he was terrified. Lol. I may just be reading something that wasnt there but his face was completely blank and it looked like he was at a loss for words. He even gulped at one point. I really hope he IS actually in love with her and not just telling her what she wants to hear to benefit from the publicity. If theyre still together a month after the magazine covers and talk show appearances then ill be convinced it wasnt all for clout. But its just so hard to tell when this guy barely knew her and got pushed into proposing SO quickly. I really felt for him because the show itself (producers) had no shame in urging him to propose. I really think the engagement could have waited.
I felt really bad for the other guys. Clare is off with Dale all day and night and the guys are just left in the dark with nothing to do. It must have been horrible for them.

I think Clare was selfish, it was good she found her significant other but she dragged these men along for way too long when she knew she only wanted dale. I would've been upset too

Dale looked like a deer in headlights when he learned he was expected to propose. They just learned the names of each other's parents the night before- I know this show rushes a relationship during a typical season, but even I didn't expect him to propose immediately after their confession of feelings toward each other. I thought it would be done on an ATFR (or whatever it'll be this year since the virus has made filming difficult) or in a follow-up special.

Maybe even an hour. And then they could of shown the first interaction with Taysha and the men and ended the episode leaving us with just enough to be extra excited for Tuesday’s episode. I honestly don’t like how they’ve been handling this season. Everything is weird. 2020 you’re drunk go home!!!

Same. I have a crush on Zack C I think he is so sweet. The guys really are a fantastic group. I really like Jason too. It made me sad how upset he was after finding out about Clare and Dale. His date when he opened up made me really like him. You can tell he is in a point in his life where he wants to open up and finally be vulnerable with someone. I hope Clare leaving doesn’t ruin it though. He could still leave.

They did a good job making us feel bad for the guys this week so we root for them but I also felt bad for Tayshia - no night one limos, no intro, no interview, just having to wander into a room with half as many guys and do it herself? Really hoping they make up for it in future eps because she deserves as real a season as they can give her

This episode was so fluffy you really hit all of the details in under 12mins. Hopefully with Tayshia we'll get more substance and less monologuing

This was so so so awkward to watch. It makes every single theory about this all being pre-planned very obvious. They basically forced Dale to propose, and then to have Tayshia come in THAT NIGHT with NO delays, she would have had to have been there so much earlier than when she talked to Chris.
I'm really curious about the timeline of Tayshia entering and quarantining.
It could've all been pre-planned, or the producers just saw it coming from a mile away and had a backup plan in place already. We also don't really know what the timeline is cause of editing and whatnot *shrugs*
@@Lee-qf9dz I mean, production basically forced Clare out once they realized the season was becoming a disaster. She pretty much stopped trying with the other guys after a week and had been purely focused on Dale for a long enough time for them to quarantine Tayshia before bringing her in.

I'm just curious what Dale thought was going to happen with the rest of the season after he and Claire had a fantasy suite date. It kind of seemed like he was thinking that things were just going to go on in normal Bachelorette fashion.
Yeah and how he kept saying there wasn’t any pressure after that date. Boy was he wrong.
I agree. Chris made it seems like she just wanted to have a one on one with you instead. He even nervous laughed when Chris said she broke up with the other guys. Ive noticed this is his m.o. from earlier scenes. Like when he was comforting Clare and she said Yosef claimed the men were just appeasing her. When she told Dale that and asked if that was true he actually laughed and said something like "what!? No!" He played it off like it was so silly it was laughable but i wasnt buying it because it was a odd thing to laugh at. Then.....he confirmed for me that he laughs or chuckles when hes nervous or lying when on the group date he smiled and tried not to laugh as he lied to the men about "accidentally " walking in on Clare. Since i knew he was lying then it made it clear that laughing is one of his coping mechanisms when hes lying or nervous. Honeslty the producers annoyed me for putting him in that awkward situation. THEYRE the ones who were pushing an engagement. They always want that if they can get it because they know viewers want it. However, in this situation i personally didn't. It was way too rushed and theres no way Dale didnt feel pressure. He didnt want to be just another guy letting her down, but at the same time he barely knows her!!!! I mean this show is alreasy rushing a relationship as it is, but only 2 wks!!! It crazy. I really felt for him in this episode. But at the same time I wonder how genuine he is. Was he just filling the part? Either way i hope they work out. I just dont have a lot of faith.
I hated the part where she said that she won’t apologize for love. That’s not the point, sis!!!! The point that Kenny was bringing up is that he wanted an apology for her wasting time and not being respectful. He wasn’t asking for an apology for falling love with Dale. An apology for a sense of bias and disrespect. These guys did not deserve that at all!

I wonder how the dynamic of this season would have gone if Matt James had still been cast as a contestant. I just don’t think the producers would have solely focused on Dale considering Matt already has a name for himself.
Clare would have cut Matt night one. She was slapping Matt around (social media)in the very beginning of casting. So she was checking out the men much sooner than in quarantine. As you can tell she is very entitled and wouldn’t want anyone to shine in her light. I’m soooo happy that Matt got to be the new Bachelor. But first Tayshia and I look forward to watching her season the way the Bachelorette should be experienced. I hope. ❣️🤞

Yeah! He didn’t make a single sound after he got up off his knee and they were hugging. It felt like he was trying to figure out what to say or how to be convincingly happy in that moment.
She’s all like, “we’re engaged!!” And Dale steals Becca Kufrins line and says, “let’s do the da*n thing”... like Dale, muster up a hair of fake enthusiasm! I really think he’s going to realize he can do better.
Unfortunately i agree. I thought he looked terrified and shocked when Clare confessed her feelings to him. (His face was completely blank as she said told him how much she cared about him-not even a hint of a smile at the flattering comments.) And even more scared when Chris brought up a proposal. I thimk he was playing the game and knew he was winning, but didnt AT ALL expect her to call it at 2 wks in. Without even a 1 on 1 date. I mean this is a younger guy whose a model and prob gets just about any woman he wants. Its hard for me to believe he cant find love on his own. Or that hes there just for love. I honestly think he made a split second decision at the dinner to go along with it. I think hes attracted to her and likes her, but wasnt "falling for her".
