- Said man was so upset, he threw a tantrum on twitter and tried to take down all of Film Gob's videos comparing and contrasting Redlettermedia's Nerd Crew videos to Collider and other groups/people of similar disposition.
Big words coming from a guy who got all butthurt that Disney didn't send him an invitation to a new StarWars themepark. Seriously, how embarrassing...

Of course not. He knows people who watch their show will watch regardless of what he does and he knows having meltdown that's gonna be shared by people who laugh at him is gonna draw those people's attention too. The way I see it, you have three ways to respond to the Nerd Crew satire:
1. Take it on the chin and realize they aren’t laughing directly at you, but rather the over-consumerist nature of pop culture. Then move on.
2. Play along with the joke and respond in a comedic self-satire and over the top way that every knows is a joke. (This is the best choice in my opinion as it shows you are willing to laugh at yourself and would earn the respect of both Collider and RLM fans)
3. Act like a spoiled man-child and whine publicly about how mean men hurt your feelings about Star Wars and how being a Star Wars and Disney shill is a thing to not be ashamed of.

You know what, I actually agree with what he said for the most part, but what does the Nerd Crew have to do with this? They're not attacking anyone personally or saying that anyone should be made fun of for being passionate about Star Wars, They're making of speculation culture, and people who push back against any criticism of any kind of franchise project that has been warped and messed around by big studios.

The funniest part to me is that I have no idea who this is. Nerd Crew works 100% as a general parody of click-grab "fan" shows. I know RLM made fun of these guys specifically at some point, but I find it plausible that they weren't even on their radar pre-freakout.

Those Schmoesknow guys really fell off a cliff when they joined Collider. They used to be somewhat respectable when they truly were just following their passions, but since joining Collider they've been nothing more than just corporate stooges and the Nerd Crew videos totally rip on them for being just that.
I remember Jon Campea (sp?) being the glue that held them together. When he left the guy melting down in the video took a more central role. I stopped watching.
