The bridge was never realy broken. Mike made some cheap gags but he forget all his pain what the do with Star Trek. I love mike. Best part is were he get banned by william shatner ^^
to be fair, those reviews are like 13 years old... and Mike's face was never on camera. I'm sure there are lots of people that saw the Plinkett review once a decade ago and never watched any more RLM content.
The thing is he has. He did a reaction video to RLM 5 years ago. Video is actually called "Reaction to Red Letter Media Episode 9 Theory", and in the comments there users are saying how has he never heard of their platform. So he knows, unless his memory logs have been wiped.
The dumbfks at RLM and all the dumb sheeps that screeched that the Prequels are bad are partly to blame for G. Lucas selling the IP and for the diarrhea we are getting now.
Yeah...I think the issue is that RLM checked out of Star Wars two decades ago, just the same as some of us. The prequels ruined Star Wars in a lot of ways, Disney's acquisition has only further tarnished any resemblance to the originals.
And Jay only cares about horror, and weird movies. He even stated in this episode that he's only a fan of 2 1/2 Star Wars films, and forgot he even watched Obi-Wan.
If he cared about the little details, he wouldn't mislead his viewers and fans about context and dialogue. Theory's whole issue with Mundi is flawed. Noone mentions Sith in his Acolyte scene and there is no Red Saber. Vernestra tells the team they will not be informing the Jedi Council. And Theory's recollection of when Qui-Gon faced Darth Maul and the council's reaction are mind boggling. Noone says, "red saber, cool, Sith"... the legends completely contradict this as well. While not officially cannon, in legends material the Jedi actually used Red Sabers until they came across Maul and they changed to either green or blue to not get confused or mixed up as Sith when seeing the red saber. Mundi is clueless about the Sith and rightfully so. pay attention to the side eye Yoda gives Mace. Theory is not the gatekeeper of Star Wars and the sooner people realize that the better.
Something I haven't seen anyone talk about in relation to acolyte breaking the lore, is a throwaway line in episode 3. When anakin and grievous first meet in episode 3, they've never seen each other before. Episodes 2 and 3 were made before the clone war series, and when the entirety of the clone war series came out, anakin and grievous never were face-to-face just to keep that one line in episode 3 lore accurate. That's the problem Star Wars fans have with the acolyte. It's not just about changing a birthday. It's the fact that we know Star Wars can make an entire series to keep one line from breaking the lore, and yet they actually just seem to not care.
And this level of respect and effort to protect the lore and maintain cohesiveness is one of the big reasons that Star Wars is still relevant after all these years and over three generations of fans. Past creators that have done this are the reason SW was worth 4 billion dollars at the time of purchase. These cretins today think you can just put out a shiny package, slap a Star Wars stamp on it and expect the money to start rolling in. It's like they never analyzed why multi generations of fans that are willing to spend big bucks on the shows, theme park rides and over priced merchandise. They had two options when they bought our franchise, continue on with the recipe for success or fail. It seems they have made that choice and now deserve to be treated by the fans the same as the fans have been treated by them.
@@doomguy4945 I misspoke on the "shiny" word. I didn't know if they would allow "sh*tty". It was meant to convey their intentions, not their delivery. But you're right of course, I will try and do better in the future. lol
It’s kind of amazing and depressing at the same time, given how dumb and inconsistent the prequels themselves were with the lore of the original movies…
That's it exactly. We're not mad that they changed his birthday, they took the one character who specifically didn't believe this could happen, then went out of their way to change the lore to put him in seemingly just to break that line. It's baffling.
Mike specifically called himself out for hypocrisy because he got annoyed with Picard for getting a detail about the Enterprise completely wrong. The idiot writers thought that a good way to explain a part of the ship, 10 Forward was to reference it as a street address when it's based on the level and position of that area on the ship. Congrats on getting an internet miracle, Theory!
@@Tom-bn6prregardless ask yourself this why was it even him to begin with i mean why put specifically him in the show it's so annoying the show puts so much effort in skirting the line without going over with so much stuff when it would have been easier and better to not skirt lines to begin with
@@Tom-bn6pr Mike barely gives a crap about regular life, let alone things we care about. It was just an internet miracle he admitted his faux pas and validated SW fans. The most shocking this about this is that Star Wars Man has not seen the Episode 1 Plinkett videos. Or at least he did not realize that the creator of it were RLM.
That's very possible. Imean those videos are old, and Mike's doing a weird voice (also confusingly Rich plays mister Plinkett in the half in the bag series, so on-screen you never see Mike as Plinkett.)
Sometimes you get too attached, I used to be like that related to Dragon Ball and Matrix, but I moved on. Still, I think it's curious how Mike does not like Strange New Worlds, I've never watched Star Trek before the JJ reboot... and I also don't like the "Marvel humor" anymore, but if you disregard the occasional action scene and silly humor, everything else in SNW is pretty good. That musical episode is very charming, but here we are, Mike is a grumpy bastard
@@oldylad Nowadays I understand this argument a little bit better, when SNW went hard sci-fi + moral dilemas, that is the old Star Trek magic (there's no such thing on the JJ movies and STD). Seems like oldschool/hardcore Star Trek fans are so angry about the enshitfication of JJ Abrams, they deny everything else out of spite. SNW was able to mix the silly "humor", decent CGi (for a TV show), hard sci-fi and, the most important in my pov, a very charming crew. The JJ movies also featured a nice crew of likeable characters, but they were too limited, one note personalities (three movies repeating the same dynamics, even the plots are identical), now SNW was able to flesh out everyone in the crew, taking advantage of the extra screen time. I honestly think oldheads ST fans should give a chance to SNW, it's a solid show
I do have a problem with Ki-Adi Mundi’s birthday being changed, but for a specific reason: it’s proof that Disney/Lucasfilm is willing to change their lore whenever they need. How can you have a cohesive canon when the validity of your lore is completely arbitrary?
That's where I'm at too. It's not really about the birthday itself. It's about Disney's willingness to change whatever they want to suit their narrative. And all in service of a really bad and straight up hateful show.
Yes and no. AFAIK the birthday was never canon, they added it to canon with a different date to legends. So it's still a cohesive canon. I do get adapting and changing legends stuff but some details really don't need to be touched, like this and don't include characters just because they're known. I've seen a random video where Sam witwer talks about getting the right lightsaber for maul because of the time period. They need to do more of that in my opinion
I don't know the full story on this, but frankly, Disney probably didn't even know his birthday. Character's birthdays on shows change all the time, for whatever reason. Honestly, I think it's because their own writers forget such a small detail in the grand scheme of things (Unless it's integral to the plot). Buffy Summers' birthday changed every season.
He probably just doesn't know that Mike is Mr. Plinkett. I can't imagine a Star Wars channel on TH-cam has never encountered the prequel reviews that basically invented comedic film criticism on TH-cam.
I think after 27 years, it's time to retire from Star Wars....been a fan since my 7th birthday in 1997 and it's been fun, but it's time to face facts. The overseers of Star Wars don't like me and don't want me to watch.
I understand where you're coming from. I've been a fan for a long time now, and Disney has tainted everything. I've been diving into the Expanded Universe (Legends) continuity lately and it is amazing.
same, I've committed Star Wars to the dead ever since after the Obi Wan Kenobi show, everything after seems to be just the wind whistling upon its gravestone, In pace, requiescat.
I just keep enjoying the Star Wars we got. The Star Wars that counts. The OG 6 films. Rogue One fits. So many EU books. I just cycle through the good stuff. Share it with my kids. Even they see the new stuff as not good. Lol
Lifelong fan of both and yes, this is true. I don't relate to the people who get super mad about it, but the fact that I'm skipping shows in franchises I used to really dig is kind of a bummer.
Rich is sick of it, which is hilarious. I do generally agree with his take about the jedi, they are boring indeed. Hell, Obi-Wan has no personality whatsoever, at least on the movies. I know SW fans like to show the "memes" related to him, but those are so sporadic, in the end the character (and the jedi as a whole) is just the "sage" cliche
@onequickthing8950 I clapped when I saw it! Oh boy, people in their 40s overly attached with a glorified toy advertisement, the "sith" mask in Acolyte had sharp teeth or something, looks like the Power Rangers, you can't be more infantile than that
@@RRRRRRRRR33 Obi-Wan in the original trilogy had a character. He was the embodiment of the wise sage cliche, arguably before it became cliche. But in the prequels he didn't even have that, he was literally nothing.
@@viljamtheninja Well, you had the sage monk in Samurai movies, Lucas blatantly copied that. I honestly see no issues with the sage cliche, it is what it is, just not a big fan of how sages remains neutral and restrained, it's boring, but if you like the cliche, that's fine. I think a sage can be more interesting if they have a couple more personality traits to spice things up. Samuel Jackson for example, the dude oozes charisma, but he played a boring sage in Star Wars just like everyone else
how is it a compliment? their star wars takes are awful and their prequel hate during early youtube fueled the notion its common to hate them. never liked them one bit
He couldn’t connect your anger toward Disney Star Wars, but then he thought of his own anger toward modern Star Trek and then he understood. We can all connect, we just need to find something that’ll connect us, like modern writers making shows they would enjoy then sticking those scripts to the properties we used to enjoy and now no one’s happy, not fans as we realise we’ve been tricked into watching something other than the show we wanted, and the writers as thousands and thousands of people tell them they suck on the internet.
Yup- as a massive Halo fan I agree. After the Halo Show got cancelled recently, I was relieved of the burden of having to anticipate how theyd ruin my favorite Sci-fi story once again. Thank GOD it ended. With all the technology and CGI and SFX we have more specifically that in which was included in said Halo show, its a shame that instead of longing for a live action halo show like all Halo fans have for the last 20 somethin years- I and many are more happy to see the current live action show end rather than continue. That should tell you all you need to know about what's wrong with modern 'entertainment' Theyre barkin up all the wrong trees man. It aint that we're picky or stubborn or as Disney likes to say 'Toxic', we the fans simply have high expectations. And if these companies who own the large IP's catered to said expectations of said fans they could actually make some magic happen instead of pondering on which woke group on twitter they should side with next. Its not hard man. You just need passionate people who have the spark of creativity and dedication to the currently established story and lore of whatever Sci-fi or whatever story theyre telling. Dont alter it just to please a few people. Make it accurate and you will please the *world* Guys like 'SWT' for Star Wars, and 'Installation00' for Halo *need* to be listened to more carefully by those who are 'in charge' of producing these multi-million dollar shows that revolve around said IP's. They know whats up, and by extension they have a large fan base that is also dedicated to the lore as much or more than they are. They alone could give you all the information you need when writing the show and could correct any errors on a dime. And theyd probably do it for free if ya just asked nicely lmao. I know I would after having suffered Paramounts 'take' on Halo. Heck- Id have paid if it meant theyd actually listen and not butcher the pre-established story
If you think Star Wars is going through it, you aren't wrong, but always keep some thoughts and prayers for Star Trek. A legacy television show for decades that's about life, existentialism, and dissecting issues that we have in our world today, but it was allegorically portrayed in a way that worked in a show that takes place in the 23-2400's, and is about how humanity has overcome it's problems, and now they're able to traverse space and help aliens with their problems...has become a CW show.

Let’s be honest, theory has seen the Plinkett reviews (being the cornerstone of early internet film commentary) but RLM has come a long way since then and retired the Mr. Plinkett character after TLJ. This warms my heart. First MauLer then Ryan Kinnel, then an appearance on FNT and open bar and now Mike Stoklasa taking the high road for apologising and acknowledging what it is to be a fan. If all these TH-camrs would form one fanbase front, a fellowship of you will, then hope lives on.

"It's not about a birthday" This is a common tactic among Disney defenders and gaslighters in general. They try to minimize your argument by taking the most unimportant part of it and pretend that's the entirety of it.
lol no they are mad because if you attack the show you attacking their moral framework act like a single real human likes the show though its hilarious
@@bran659 People trying to win an argument use tactics to do so, whether they are consciously aware of them or not. Disney has specifically coached actors in the past to talk in interviews about "racist and sexist trolls" they've been warned about. Media articles go after fans claiming that, too, and implying it's a large portion of the fandom rather than the minute, disgusting fringe that unfortunately do engage in that kind of thing. Do you think Disney doesn't sign off on this stuff before it goes out there? Please... You don't really get to determine what someone is passionate about in their life. For some it's sports, for some it might be the arts or music. For some, it's Star Wars. Believe it or not, it's possible for people to have kids and maintain their passion about excellence in whatever it is they are passionate about. You're advocating for a grey, dreary world where no one cares about the quality of anything except, apparently, their kids. But what are you doing to your kids if you leave them a world where no one cares about anything? All the music is crap, all the entertainment is slop, paintings are just stick figures. Do you see where that leaves us? Of course, the whole "have kids, touch grass" line is just another tactic to try and minimize an argument, as is the implication that someone neglects their family just because they are passionate about something. It's frankly insulting. I don't know why you feel so threatened by other people's passion. Maybe reflect on that a bit.
It’s so funny because StarWars theory is one of the nicest, calmest and most respectful person I’ve seen on TH-cam who criticizes StarWars. Sometimes I’m like come on dude call them out. Don’t be nice and he won’t. He is just very respectful and normal. Anybody who says he is crazy/disrespectful/toxic and so on. I immediately know they’re the crazy/disrespectful/toxic ones.
Hmmm it was partially about a birthday, people were talking about how he shouldn’t even be born yet, you included. BUT that wasn’t the main issue, the main issue was exactly what you said.
It’s so obvious Headland wanted the irony of him being there because it showed that would support her narrative of “the Jedi are bad and lie” given that the guy who said “The Sith haven’t been seen for Millennia” actually saw one 100 years ago and is still actively lying. Ultimately, she achieved her goal but she still doesn’t understand characters because why would he lie and keeping it secret from the Jedi.
Extremely wholesome, this is the kind of energy TH-cam needs rn. I'm a huge RLM fan, and I've seen your shorts before, I immediately recognised you in the video and I'm so happy you reacted❤
Everything made worse hearing Leslye Headland reasoning for confusing parts. Like Sol was Benign Sexism, and Aniseya was turning into the force along with her daughter. Which would mean Sol saved her life by killing Aniseya, and yet Sol is seen in the wrong.... Leslye has ideas but no understanding how to realized them and what it means with lore/cannon. I can come up with more example but its a waste of time.

Isn’t Ki Adi Mundi THE character trope of the guy that’s always wrong? “The Sith haven’t existed for a millennia!” But they literally did. “What about the attack on the Wookiees?” Literally the least of their concerns.
@Amplifymagic There's a difference between believing the Sith are extinct in a 1000 years, compared to knowing about their existence and covered it up. The difference of being wrong about something and being a liar is another thing. Disney's Acolyte changes them into liars.
@@genebaker511 as far the clueless cone head is concerned, it’s a rogue Jedi Osha that’s the criminal, he’s still clueless about Qimir due to the coverup. It’s just a basic trope continued.
@@Amplifymagic This is such a narrow shortsighted take. Ki Adi's scenes are all contextualized by his presence as a member of the Jedi Council. AKA he's not just proclaiming these to the wind unopposed. Everyone else agrees with him. So either Ki Adi is now a liar or completely incompetent. He can be wrong without being either, but not if you take this show seriously! Nobody argues that Sith or anything possibly about them haven't been seen. So now apparently he has no clue about any rogue force wielder who may or may not have killed jedi before. Like a century before. Zero connections. Sloppy continuity adherence does this. He shouldn't even have been in the scene. People who want to run with this take of "Mundi is a idiot" failed to properly remember the scenes. He's in the council with other Jedi who all agree with what he is saying. It's not "STFU mundi, you're wrong". Everyone agrees with him! Yoda basically goes 'You're right, we need to help defend Kashyyyk from the CIS. I'll even go myself.' It's not a basic trope continued. What, you want to bring up his comment about Dooku? Mace Windu once again agreed with him and said that it's very unlikely Dooku orchestrated the assassination. That makes sense, even Tales of the Jedi made that line make sense because he left the order without much more than a seeming disagreement in conduct. This is why the fans who care about continuity take issue with the acolytes absurd retcons. Just don't have Mundi alive during this time period? Why is he??? Instead of potentially damaging yet another Jedi Master and making his death in Order 66 karmically justified, just don't bring him in a place he shouldn't be. There's not much else to say. They didn't need to do this but they did. And that's just this one thing. Most of the show happens because logic is tossed out the window.
RLM are the OGs for the long form teardown of movies/shows. I'm pretty sure they inspired Critical Drinker and Mauler. Especially the Mr Plinkett reviews.
Trekker here. Yes, Theory. They really made a musical episode in Strange New Worlds season 2. Complete with contemporary pop music as performed over comms by Klingons. That is where Trek is now. @@Stiffkittens01 It worked for Buffy. It fit the slightly camp style of the series. It does not work for Star Trek, and it's modern writers that forced it in. Since those modern writers are terrible writers, "modern hacks" is a fitting description.

I just love how Theory laughs, seeing his own reaction to the "Yoda Reveal". You have standards, morals, you fight for Star Wars and your brand. But glad to see that he doesn't take himself too seriously and is able to laugh at himself.
Hmm, since Theory got in contact with Mauler, Nerdrotic, Ryan Kinnel, etc he handles these things so much better now and his takes have become way more genuine and also entertaining.
Star Trek has completely been changed. Its really bad, Picard had the Borg join the Federation then the next season they never acknowledged that and made them the enemy again.
I think they’re poorly argued and they’ve led to a bad format of reviews today. A lot of the strategies to misrepresent things in the movies and redirect were reused across the internet and it has hurt film criticism
I feel like his birthday does matter though. That character simply does not exist at that point in time. He cannot be there. If Celebrimbor was in Return of the King fighting alongside Aragorn, that would be a totally fine problem to take issue with, because he doesn't exist in that time period. Conversely, if Aragorn was in Rings of Power (Not that that show doesn't have a multitude of other issues) it'd be perfectly valid to critisize the show for having him in it, even if he did nothing. He doesn't exist in that time, he literally cannot be there. It is an objective flaw and should be critisized.
When Trinity was killed with a small edged weapon...she clearly did not watch alongside Red Letter Media and the instructional video on the dangers of Edged Weapons.

Naturally.
It's like how Cats and Dogs form natural alliances.

Mike's acknowledgment of his own existential rage at what's also been happening to Star Trek is the true olive branch in all of this lol.
@@RRRRRRRRR33that’s the problem, your only frame of reference are the JJ films. While they are fun, they aren’t good Star Trek.
They made legends not canon tho when they bought Star Wars right?
It means nothing.
History matters.
Foundation matters.
Culture matters.
Unless youre disney.
I don't know the full story on this, but frankly, Disney probably didn't even know his birthday. Character's birthdays on shows change all the time, for whatever reason.

Theyre barkin up all the wrong trees man.
Make it accurate and you will please the *world*
Guys like 'SWT' for Star Wars, and 'Installation00' for Halo *need* to be listened to more carefully by those who are 'in charge' of producing these multi-million dollar shows that revolve around said IP's.
One amusing thing Acolyte has successfully done is bring many obscure Star Wars TH-camrs together in a fight against a common foe.

I'll even go myself.'
It's not a basic trope continued.

You are _THE_ Star Wars Man, man.
Trekker here. Yes, Theory. They really made a musical episode in Strange New Worlds season 2. Complete with contemporary pop music as performed over comms by Klingons. That is where Trek is now. Arguably it's been suffering from vandalisation longer than Star Wars (which I love in equal measure).
Very hurt and angry at what modern hacks have done to franchises that I revered through childhood and into adulthood.
Umm buffy did it decades ago & it's one of the best episodes even outside of buffy. not exactly "modern hacks"
@@Stiffkittens01 It worked for Buffy. It fit the slightly camp style of the series. It does not work for Star Trek, and it's modern writers that forced it in. Since those modern writers are terrible writers, "modern hacks" is a fitting description.
I was fine with nuTrek but the fact that it has turned Trek into what we have gotten with Discovery and on makes me wish it never happened.
The franchise has been mutilated beyond all recognition now.
@@Stiffkittens01
The Sound of Music also did it.
So doing it in one movie or franchise makes it okay to do it in all franchises.
@@MrMikellsof88 The fact that you don't think star trek is 'slightly camp' is fucking wild
I can’t believe RLM took the time to apologize, with all the starving people around the world that is
Rich Evans is starving children in Africa and Mike has time for this smh
They took time to apologize to stuckmann who made a big deal for nothing lol
@@Deagnetic Yet they will never apologize for their atrocious "There are children starving in Africa we shouldn't care about movies at all" take.
@@Dhomdenlol
So when will he apologize to lucas for being to stupid to understand how great the prequels were
In the end: "yoda, he was the only one old enough to be in it".... yeah.. and apparently Ki Adi Mundi :)
technically Oppo Rancisis was old enough as well.
*Kai Adi Mundi.

LET'S GO STAR WARS MAN!
Im a redlettermedia fan. Now I’m a Star Wars theory fan. Thank you Star Wars Man!
He seems to use jangling keys of memes to keep the kiddies watching his content. I'll give Star Wars Man a shot, but I don't think I'm childish enough to enjoy it.
Yes Theory. Star Trek did indeed get the same treatment as Star Wars. We got a frankly miraculous Picard Season 3 though, which was nice. I'm a fan of both franchises, but Picard Season 3 basically did what The Force Awakens should have done in that it brought everyone back together for one last ride.
Love that Mike actually apologised. I left a comment on their original Acolyte video saying that Mike himself was pissed with Star Trek inconsistencies. Keep up the good work Star Wars Man
Aren’t you just a knight in shining shill armor lmao think theory might see this and blow you?
@@Daniel-wt9hx Jesus, tell us your life is pathetic and you've never been with a woman without telling us your life is pathetic and you've never been with a woman LOL
@@Daniel-wt9hx Brother, you're all over the comment section defending RLM. I think you're the only person here trying to receive oral pleasure from a content creator LOL
Red Letter Media has THE BEST Star Wars movie reviews. These guys know the craft of story telling. They not only tell you it's bad, they tell you why, and often how to fix it. The fixes are always so simple too, not a 100 million dollar fix.
No they are not, he is a half baked film maker who failed at making movies.
@@spearfisherman308 I'll modify: Their Star Wars prequel analysis is really good.
@@JbTexan-od7wx nope
@@JbTexan-od7wx also they ignored the flaws in TFA so their opinion is invalid
@@spearfisherman308 that's true. I should only learn from flawless things.
He's acting flummoxed that they couldn't remember his name yet he's acting like he's not familiar with the guys who made THE most famous Star Wars reviews ever?
STARWARS MAN!!!! I LOVE WHEN WE COME TOGETHER YESSSSSS. DUDE I LOVE WHEN FANS DESPITE DIFFERENCED RESPECT EACH OTHER!!!
It was so weird how RLM was mocking this franchise for having sloppy lore, but in the same breath, dismissing the fans who were getting mad every time Disney broke Star Wars lore.
I recall people on 4Chan questioning RLM’s credibility and sanity when they were liking the Kenobi show.
@@Captain-Thievius liking the Kenobi show? Basically they called it useless piece of media...
@@Manlio.Cipullo and yet, RLM were nowhere near as harsh to it compared to their prequel reviews.
@@Captain-Thieviusdoes that upset you?
@@Daniel-wt9hx No, just proves that RLM are hypocrites as well as liars. Never forget: RLM pushed the narrative that “Marcia Lucas saved Starwars”. A narrative that Marcia Lucas herself debunked.
Um. You do know,… that Mike S. did all the Mr. Plinkett reviews of the prequels, right? 😏
The whole RLM Acolyte S1 review is reasoned and a good sum-up of the issues. Worth watching.
There are actually two reviews. The first was the first four episodes of The Acolyte between Mike and Rich. When it came to doing part two, Rich refused to watch anymore, so Jay had to watch all eight episodes to finish it off the Re:View.
What are you talking about? Mr Plinkett did the Mr Plinkett reviews. Mike has nothing to do with that
Mike has been leaching off of Mr. Plinkett for years.
@@Kyle-sr6jm Exactly him and Jay are scumbags who takes credit from hardworking men like him
You're trolling, right? Mike IS Mr. Plinkett!
Red letter media is the best TH-cam channel.
Having Mundi in the show added nothing to it, it just made it worse.
The Yoda reaction is priceless, the perfect "ah fuck" lmao
You should definitely do a collab with RLM. I think their apathy and your enthusiasm surrounding Star Wars would be hilarious.
"Just say Star Wars Theory Man"
-Star Wars Theory Man
How has theory never heard of Red Letter Media? The Plinkett SW prequel reviews are the most popular prequel reviews on the internet, or at least they were back in the day.
Back in the day when videos were 10 minutes max.
Those awful reviews were debunked by Rick Worley years ago. Please watch "How to Watch Star Wars: The Prequels are Better Movies Than You Deserve"
@@菊池清太郎-p9i They were never meant to be taken that seriously. That said I'll give that video a watch, thanks for the recommendation.
Indeed. To this day I still see the part where he says the opening of ANH was so brilliant that Lucas probably had nothing to do with it, and probably fought it being in the movie.
Theory has nearly 2M more subs than them, RLM are a small channel compared to him lol 😂
I like the editing, editor :)
If only Disney would apologize to the fan base, wipe 75% of the crap they made, and give us the content we deserve...
pipe dreams
I just love how Theory laughs, seeing his own reaction to the "Yoda Reveal". You have standards, morals, you fight for Star Wars and your brand.
But glad to see that he doesn't take himself too seriously and is able to laugh at himself.

RedLetter Media are the ones who made the most epic prequel review.
I like he pretends like he doesn’t know who red letter media are like he’s never seen the mr plinket Star Wars videos
Most Star Wars fans have not seen the plinket reviews.
Star Trek has completely been changed. Its really bad, Picard had the Borg join the Federation then the next season they never acknowledged that and made them the enemy again.
Picard season 3 was OKay. not good but okay. Lower decks is good
Nobody tell him about the Plinkett reviews, that pretty much kickstarted YT channel movie discourse we have today.
Seriously though they had to fuking upscale them
There's no way he didn't know. How is anyone, esp a SW fan, gonna pretend like they don't know who RLM is and why they're known?
I think they’re poorly argued and they’ve led to a bad format of reviews today. A lot of the strategies to misrepresent things in the movies and redirect were reused across the internet and it has hurt film criticism
Red Letter Media and Mike are one of the only channels I watched for many years. The Phantom Menace Review is the reason for the internet to exist.
Theyre in Milwaukee
Theory Saber - Red letter media: the cross over we never knew we needed. Yes, please do a show together.
Remember, apologetic Mike Stoklasa are like Comet, he might only appear once a decade.

Love how Star Wars Man was able to stretch this to 10min
"About a birthday" is the most intellectually dishonest framing and it annoys me so much. It would be like putting Abraham Lincoln in Ancient Rome and then saying..."They're just complaining about his birthday."
Bro WTF! He was literally not supposed to be in that time period at all!
People who say that are being intentionally dishonest. They know what the issue actually is but don't wanna excoriate Disney / Lucasfilm for egregious destruction of Star Wars lore.
Keep doing what you're doing Star Wars Man!!!
I’m surprised you’ve never come across these guys before. A star wars colab would be great. They are funny, long form reviews have lots of jokes buried within
I think a lot of people on the Internet (and William Shatner) can't distinguish between actual insults and good natured ribbing.
