    • @theTechNotice

      Go to bios and search for the igpu setting and set it to 'enabled'

    • @HotBrassandBullets
      @HotBrassandBullets 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will try and google what to look for. I enabled xmp and it set my ram speed to 3700mhz which is what I bought. I looked through all the bios settings and did not see anything that said igpu or video. Being a novice I'm sure I missed something just don't know what yet. Anyway you are a really smart guy and i
      watch all your videos I've learned so much from really nothing that I can't be what I know now. Thanks

    You're honestly the best PC building or whatever channel out there. All the channels about PC's constantly relate to gaming and makes us creators feel like a minority when in reality, there are so many creators out there who are looking for the very advice you provide. Truly amazing and truly relevant and important channel. Thank you and I hope to be able to build my first PC this year, just doing lots of research before purchasing anything and still saving while I'm studying.

    Except for the case and the cooler I am building the exact same version of build what you showing here so it is amazing to see that within 2 months I get it into my head because I didn't know much about how to build a PC and now I am able to pick up everything... you basically teached me the whole lot over the time of the last 2 months how to build it and how to make it worth the money... Not overspending for things I won't need. On Canon R6 now... Getting into video editing. Thanks

    Thanks for this! I went and bought the 500D (white) I also went with the i9 12900K and a Gigabyte Vision OC 3080 Ti with 64GB of Corsair vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 RAM went with DDR4 because I already had the RAM from my older system just overclocked it to 3200Mhz, Maybe I will upgrade to DDR5 mobo next year. I also have a corsair H150i elite LCD Capellix 360 cooler and for storage 3x 1TB Nvme SSD'S I'm using my PC for music production and ofc 4K gaming.

    Would love some tips on making a variant of this build as close to silent as possible. I make music but also do some 3d and photoshop. Quietness is a high priority. I've heard some people prefer a massive air cooler over liquid cooling because of the pump motor noise and water noise from a liquid cooler. Any opinions on cases designed for quietness? Also heard an oversized PSU is a good idea because the PSU fan won't be running as hard. Thanks for making these videos. Extremely useful.

  • @HoundDogMech
    @HoundDogMech 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You still need a BIG Monitor:
    Expensive: In the $700 and $1,000+ price range, you’ll encounter curved monitors with giant screens that are optimized for buttery-smooth gaming.
    Screen size alone will go a long way to drive the price of a curved monitor to the higher end. But an ultrawide monitor is worth it for power users who want to get the most out of their PC.

  • @robertcollins2052
    @robertcollins2052 ปีที่แล้ว

    If i was a little tighter. I may have splurged a bit on the monitor. Lol. Sayyyyyy, make it a 2250 keeping the cooler cause i love it, i currenly have 32(16x2) ram. I know i will eventually need to bump that up, but i am coming from a vector\bitmap art background and learning Blender and slicing. So that should work until i get more complex. I can scrap my old build for an extra 16. Now.... In your more experienced mind should i cut costs a bout 150-200? GPU price spike with that recall isnt helping

    Just an FYI: I have a Liquid Freezer II 280 (2x 140mm) with a 12900K and it can not keep these processors cooled. Even after replacing the fans with NF-A14 fans it is still thermal throttling under heavy workloads in open air setup. Using the smaller standoffs included with the AIO instead of the included ones meant for 12gen CPU's, did drop overall temps by about 10°C

    • @bunnybabybevytv6434
      @bunnybabybevytv6434 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try putting a regular fan in front of your intake fans and maybe another fan pointing away next to the outtake…otherwise you just gotta lower the temperature of the room…blowing warm air at something doesn’t help much

    The Corsair 4000d and 5000d recommended on this video are bigger cases, but anyway the Maximum CPU Cooler Height is 170 mm, just one more cm.

      When will PS start using the scratchdisk?
      Should there be a balance between DRR and processor?
      Can you answer these questions?

    if I build something like i5 11400
    RTX 3060 (maybe Ti version if lucky)
    32GB Ram
    Will it be able to catch up with this build?

    It's funny that Apple has now become the budget brand. A $2000 Mac Studio will deliver better video editing performance than all these builds! What a crazy time we are living in :)

      No it will not, unless it uses the media engine and optimized software, and still lose on many things video games 3 d upgradeability etc.

    I have a customer asking about a mini itx creator PC. I looked through some of your videos but didn't see any. He wants to use a Ryzen CPU. Any recommendations? There's not a lot to pick from lol

    • @JayzBeerz

      mini itx is not good for creators as you may need 3 to 4 nvme drives and a mini itx board at best has only 2.

    For Premier Pro/After effects would you say the i7 12700k with the 3070 is better than an i9 12900k with a 3060?

    • @theTechNotice
      @theTechNotice  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably 12900k + 3060 coz cpu is more important.
