This is one of the best LTT videos I have seen in a long while. A unique, carefully planned PC build with Yvonne and Linus is such a joy to watch!

They really are such a great couple. Infinitely supportive on one another. Perfectly at ease enough to continually make jokes at their own and each others expense. Very similar senses of humour. A lot of what they've done is hard work, but when it comes to them together, it seems to have been kismet that they met and fell in love. Makes watching them on-screen together a real fun experience every single time.

I was actually just watching this and thinking if he had more respect for her, he probably would have skipped the constant innuendos. We get it, she's a girl, that doesn't mean we have to bring up sex all the time. It's dated and kinda awkward to watch.

Couples building a PC together is my new favorite thing!
This is a super useful option for doing digital visuals at festivals. I usually have to bring two systems, one for lights/lasers and one for projections, being able to bring a single box that fits in a pelican case and run both is well worth the trade offs for me!
Wouldnt the couple pc Linus mentioned in the intro that shared motherboard and power supply, be better in that use case?
@@C3beruz it's hard to fit a big case in a reasonable roadcase. I currently use the fractal meshlicious case

@@jrbudoybudoy the other two are siblings with an enforced 'home PC' policy that prevents one taking it to a friend's house or into their room as they'll keep each other in check (or at least grass each other up)
and you don't have to worry about GPU brackets and such, 'cause there's no way anything in this build can flex enough to break loose. :D
Slot screwdriver heads are for applications where the head might get covered by paint or oil etc. Since it goes from one end to the other it makes it easy to remove any debris that maybe get lodged in it.
Or... it is just because it was easier to manufacture back in the day? Ya know, cutting/Filing a slot in a screw head is a lot easier than making a Philips or Torx.

I love that case, and that color. I have a Dan A4-SFX case right now, it's tiny, but it only has space for a dual slot GPU and not much space for a CPU cooler. With the more power hungry CPUs and GPUs we have now, I'll have to get a different case when I upgrade, and this looks like a compelling option.

Actually slotted screws are great and used a lot in boat building because when you need to remove something after years of use and you have to take out a bung and clean out glue or putty or rust from the head of the screw it’s easy to clean out and get your screwdriver in. Philips are the worst screw, they were actually designed so the screwdriver would pop out of the screw out so they weren’t over torqued in manufacturing which isn’t necessary any more with modern powered screwdrivers, but because of their ubiquity they’ve stayed popular despite torx, Robertson and other screw types being clearly superior.

This is acutally a fantastic guide. My realworld use case (as a professional video editor) would be for travel. When we fly two editors out to edit event recaps. What a huge space saver! probably takes up the same space (almost) as two mac studios but more powerful.

@@bara9880 and if the work requires a monitor of some sort (sometimes editors need HDR screens or OLEDs) and a better keyboard than a laptop keyboard then yeah a portable PC is a much better idea

As someone who likes to keep the PC:s I use for various creative stuff separate while still in the same physical space this is a fantastic two in one solution. Will definitely consider this in the future!
