I was hoping you'd have a video of Narre Warren up this week. Nice to see a unique scenario as the overall theme for the video which also includes the new station.
Stopping all stations to South Yarra, running express from South Yarra to Caufield then stopping all stations to Clayton running express from Clayton to Springvale then stopping all stations to Hallam running express from Hallam to Berwick then stopping all stations to Pakenham And always remember to touch on your myki at the start of your Journey
Does anyone know if they'll run a bike path under the Pakenham line trains like they did from Yarraman to Caulfield? That thing is brilliant. They could connect it to the Dandy Bypass trail.
I've passed through the new Narre Warren skyrail every day for months now, but I'm glad I can finally use the new station. I don't use it often, only ever if I want to go to Fountain Gate shopping centre, so I guess I'm due for a trip there again one of these days so I can check out the new station. It'll be weird not hearing the corssing bells every 15 minutes at Webb Street though. As for the Pakenham station, the new signs should be the dual line colour ones as Pakenham is also V/Line stop for both platforms, so the new signs will have the half cyan and half purple line colour like Platform 4 at Caufield does.
When is the Labour government replacing the congested level crossings on the Glen Waverley line instead of wasting our tax payers money doing this work out “woop woop”??????
I will definitely miss the old station, as much as it was ageing it seems to modernised and has lost its character including the cafe that used to be there
agreed - the old station had its own neat charm and I feel that this new station is too similar to Hallam. Hopefully when the whole precinct is completed my mind will be changed!
@@StrayaTrains Lol Thanks. I moved to Queensland some months ago so it's sad I don't get to ride the trains anymore, but it was a bit of an integral part of my life since the Thomas the Tank days as a young boy
How dare they replace the old Comeng horns
Give back rvb!!1
Awesome video!😊
Awesome 👍
Was the XPT at the start the arrival of the day or night train?
night.
The arrival of the overnight service
What was this comeng even doing on the Pakenham line? I understand it was project works but what specifically?
Was doing overhead examinations
@@MelbournesTrains ah, thanks Kane.

Sad to know that seeing a Comeng is going to become more and more rare in the coming years.

The station platform signage at Pakenham station will the white with the blue strip.
They still haven't given a rough idea of a opening date

Is your next video going to feature the level crossing removal project?
No
Why were they doing these tests
Not sure

The café had been closed for a while even while the old station was open
Are there toilets at the new Narre Warren station?
It’s surprising how some new stations don’t have them….Merinda Park.
Should be as it's a premium station
Do you think they should've built the line as triple or quad track so express services and gippsland line trains can bypass ststions at higher speed
There will be at E Pakenham Station. They should have a third track from Oakleigh to Westall as well in my opinion
Where do you get this info from
Magic
@@StrayaTrains Please I'm begging you at this point
Okay not funny. He knows some drivers with documents so thats the answer
