That sunset was cool, but the video shots of the thunderstorm was even better. The harvest time just keeps rolling along, Git r done😊
My Brother, your videos are really good, you give us city folks insight into Ag Life, and always wondered about contract combine guys. You have a very interesting and challenging profession. But you make the video and story really well done. Good Luck with your Mom Dad and family. Well done.
Your Mom did a great job combing the wht Hayden
Beautiful KS sunset and a trick dog...amazing.
Storm shots were awesome!
Looks like everything is going pretty good. Glad to see your back harvesting. Glad to see that grain cart full. Hope the weather stays harvest friendly for you all more than a few days. John T.
You got a two for one deal one of own burning sunsets and a thunderstorm all in one day , but I feel you guys I hate working in the field and watching the storms move in.
GREAT video. Thank you Hayden and glad you're back
Great day of harvest Hayden keep them coming
The dryland wheat is a few day from dry here in NW Texas. What a sorry dry fall winter and spring. Now the wheat is too wet the middle of July...just a year to forget as far as the wheat crop.
Hello I’m a new subscriber to your channel.I’m a John Deere technician in Central California. Awesome stuff on the combines👍 Don’t see that much in California But we have big Cotton pickers. Keep the great work. Thomason Tractor Firebaugh California
When I was your age combine had only 8 to 12 ft headers and the custom harvester had 10 plus combines
Good luck combining wht Hayden
Good video! Long work day, but very productive.
Need more of mom on video’s
Great video Hayden
Glad y'all are able to get back in the fields.
Pups was ready to go!!!!
That was an awesome sunset and wicked lightning!
Thanks again for bringing us along!!!
The goat has returned
Great work. Thanks.
Great job HAYDEN.
Good night shots Hayden.
I am in Central Kansas, look like you are west of Dodge City. What is the closes town to you. We are just finishing the last of wheat harvest, it is going slow lots of weeds.
Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks Dave!
Love the vids!
great storm shots glad you all got to cutting on a average day how much can you cut with one machine
Hi 👋
Glad you're back!
Do ya'll walk the pivots at 100% while your cutting, or after you cut half?
I serviced 20 pivots across 40 miles in GA, 20 years ago.
Cotton, peanuts,sod,and vegetables.
If you ever want to be bored out of your mind, run a Cotton module builder,1 lever is tram/slider and the the other was tamp.
Tram and tamp 4 dumps from 6row pickers, raise unit up...pickup tailgate move 50ft and repeat.. 3weeks straight.
No cab on builder, lots of farmer tanning lol.
Picked balers have made that job obsolete.
Do you have the capability to extract still shots from your video? Do you think the resolution is high enough to make a poster size wall hanging? I will gladly pay you for a couple of stills from this video.
Let me tell u something, no rain in spring makes for thin wheat and the weeds come on!!! In northern Kansas 35 bpa was all I had! Some worse. .......
And no cabs with ac
Hi Hayden. What was the difference in yield of the dryland and irrigated wheat?
Irrigated will probably make above 50 bushel, and the dry land will be about 20 at the best
In your last video it looks like you guys got a new pickup
Yes, my mom got a new pickup.
@@HaydenOnHarvest She will injoy it. My dad and my uncle were big custom harvesters in the 90's.
how is the wheat doing bushels and test?
Not sure on the test but everyone seems to be cutting 25-35 bu wheat in this area
@@HaydenOnHarvest ok is that average or below?
I would think below right Hayden? The average in Montana is 50 and it is bone dry out here most of the time, but this year has been wet, looking at around 80-90 bushels per acre
Why did you not cut the corner of the first field with the field ? You said you cut it by itself
Probably insured separately from the irrigated acres.
❤️😎🐾
How far north will you guys go?
North Dakota
@@HaydenOnHarvest Awesome, I was just curious if you would go all the way up north.
@@HaydenOnHarvest looking forward to watching you in North Dakota where I live.
Glad your handsome maybe you can have rabbit for supper turn him loose
Why doesn't your dad drive have three combines
We do not have enough acres this year for 3 machines
Iforgotback
I guess I don't know what game or sport you & your Mom are playing or whatever if one of you won & 1 lost, it may have been more efficient for 1 of you to back out 100 ft sooner & get out of the way
You have to live a little in your lifetime Chas.
I take it your mom don’t like to be on the videos. Don’t see much of her run in her combine would be kinda neat.
Depends on the day lol
Why did you not cut the corner of the first field with the field ? You said you cut it by itself
On some farms the farmer will ask for the irrigated portion to be cut separate from the dry land portion. Therefore they cut the circle first then cut the outermost parts of the field.
The reason for this is the farmer may have the acres listed separately. This can be because of government programs, insurance, or if it is leased land.
