Love seeing the entire moving operation…thx, Rob
It's quite impressive watching you moving your equipment. When you move your combines, headers & grain cart, etc, do you ever have a line of traffic accumulate behind your "parade", or are they able to pass? Tell Cody that he is sporting an Amish haircut! Lol!😂 I love the cross you wear around your neck!❤ I only live 98 miles southeast of your home in Early, TX. I live in the country just outside of Florence. Would love to meet you sometime. Your videos bring back memories of my farming days as a teenager back in the day.😊 Stay safe!
We space out so they can pass yes haha
Awesome video Hayden. You and the family are very hard workers. Thank you guys so much
Watching your videos I get to see more of the world. I don't get out much anymore. So thank you all for showing me the world.
Glad you made it Safely! We just come down that road last week with combines, beautiful scenery!
Nice video of the move. I enjoy watching all the activities of harvest. Be safe.
Thank you guys for coming to N.D. We finally got a inch of much needed rain here last night. We are in the north central part of the state up along the Canadian border.
Thanks for ahowing me country I've never seen before. Always love the loading process
I have never seen the bad lands. What a view, thank you. Stay safe and bless you and the crew.❤
Really enjoyed the move Hayden thanks for taking us along
Lots of driving on move day. I crewed way back, no grain carts just removed endgate on the trucks and header 20ft rode in box. Combine back on trailer.
Good job👍 really enjoy the videos. Cutting wheat is like picking corn it’s just satisfying 😁
Good luck hauling your equipment Hayden
I might have seen you guys when you went through Phillip that’s where we farm. That’s crazy
Great video Hayden
I've been noticing tour grain carts with the offset duals. What arte the advantages and disadvantages to carts with tracks? Thanks, and keep the videos coming.
Another informative vid. Thx. Nothing happens on Sat. Hmmm. Must be 7th D Adv. Send that rain down over our way, sw of Chicago. We need it.
Love your dog . 😊
You guys drove through my home town south of the Cheyenne River. Cool Video.
Glad you made it to ND
Have attempted that hill with 98000 lbs many times in semi you can be going 100 at the bottom but always down to a 40 to 45 crawl cresting the hill.
Dang, I didn't know you guys had to back track everytime! That sucks! I hope you are able to make up for the lost time in Nebraska! Must be working for Seventh Day Adventists? Been there done that one! lol
Good luck in ND hope cooler temps reach you 60 here in MB Can
I grew up east of where you are. Live in MN and help a friend harvest in the fall. Always wanted to go south with a crew. I retire in about 6 years. Can I check in then?😊😊
You guys look way cooler than storm chasers!!!
great video like the cross you have around your neck take care
Nice Hayden.
Greetings from the Netherlands.👍👍
Amazing that y’all come from tx and end up in North Dakota another Chanel went from Nebraska to kingsville tx to cut 25000 acres of milo
When they asked were you a storm chaser you should have kinda it rains every where we go lol
Yea no joke 😂😂
Do you use 48’ hoppers? I wondered if the 48’s max your length with the floats
You guys are like a bunch of carneys taking your rides state to state county to county living trailers for the season..... only difference is that your rides are WAY cooler!! I'm jealous. You have a great cancel man!
Channel not cancel. Damn spell check
Got rained out, again… probably start cutting tomorrow. Idk if you know about it but the rain we got was from the hurricane in California. Don’t know where else it’s headed. Could be coming your way. Just to let you know.
do you have to have overwidth permits
where are you guys in my home state?i now it is western north dakota but did bot catch the town name
Can we can get some video/ audio of that cat motor purring in that Peterbilt
Looks like the bad lands
Have you'll ever picked up deer antler in front tire see you carry spare front tire .
Thank you for sharing and being truthful in telling your story. Some people are being disrespectful evidently. Just be like Teddy and carry a big stick. John T.
@johnthompson162 who is Teddy?
@@HarvestChic Teddy Roosevelt had a big Ranch in North Dakota. Some of it still remains today. John T.
Where is the rest of the PTO shield cover? It looks like something was missing. Mu grandfather was caught in an uncovered PTO shaft from a wagon we had borrowed from a neighbor. Luckily the overalls he was wearing were very old and came apart. He still was in the hospital for over a month.
Not sure, we got it like that
I went back and rewatched the video and sure looks like there is no shield over the PTO shaft where it is connected tot he tractor, there is a shield over the part connect to the cart. If I am wrong, I am sorry. @@HaydenOnHarvest
Personally even if a shield was on there I wouldn’t want to be around that PTO when it is running you’re just asking for a accident. We do not let our guys or anyone matter of fact get around the PTO when it is running.
I’m surprised you don’t have to cover the slow moving vehicle signs on the equipment?
Has never been a problem for us. We have had DOT’s follow us for several miles and they have never pulled us over.
Not recommended to just turn the exhaust tip backwards because that will create a negative atmosphere in the turbo as in a vacuum and still cause it to dry spin all it takes is for one valve in the block to be open and there is air flow. Best thing to prevent damage, just cover the opening with even just duct tape.
Then why does John Deere send their tractors on a train from the factory facing front and backwards without anything covering their exhaust? Because the DEF system is blocking it I promise it will be fine.
Hay Gary don't post something about equipment when you don't know anything about it
always enjoy your videos.what happend to the truck repair.
I haven’t got the scoop on it yet but I’ll keep y’all updated!
@stuartroland9605 it will most likely be a winter project repair.
How often you guys trade your combines?
We shoot for every 2-3 years
Great videom Couldn't re read the name on the truci. What is the name of the crew?
4G Harvesting
Do y'all also cut corn?
Yes
Hayden, I noticed when you guys are hauling the grain cart and tractor, the tractor exhaust is pointed forward and that is putting extra wear on the turbo, actually in a bad way because the air being forced into the exhaust is causing the turbo to dry spin and causes premature bearing wear. I would definitely cover the exhaust tip when transporting.
That turbo isn’t going to spin through a particulate filter dude. We have been hauling this tractor like this for 7 years now and have never had a problem.
When you guys trade your combines what are you guys planning on getting next?
Not sure, whatever we can afford on this terrible year.
What that’s true
Ya that’s true sry
Storm chasers? Lol yea you run after storms with your combines. Lol. Then when you get near the storm you unload the combined and test the storm. Lol. City people. They have no clue
Hopefully these videos help people get a better understanding what we do!
You fire up the combine and the storms come to you. 😂
@@HaydenOnHarvest that’s the idea right
@@davebullock3517 So it's like when you wash your car, that's rise the chance of rain. :D
@@bzs187 exactly. Lol
What part of North Dakota are you harvesting?
West Central
What year is your grain cartand how do you like it?
I have no idea what year model it is. Although I have no complaints about our grain cart it’s great!
@@HaydenOnHarvest we are getting one like it so I thought I would ask
We get a little skeptical about opening the gate over 5 though. Sometimes it will slip the belt but y’all’s may be different idk.
@@HaydenOnHarvest the one we are get is pretty new and we haven't got to use it yet waiting for fall harvest
Next time you get asked if you are "storm chasers" you might respond in this fashion. The green combines are equipped with "FLUX CAPACITORS." They assist when traveling across country and to past times and "BACK TO THE FUTURE."
Google " hauling a tractor with exhaust in the wind". Don't get me wrong, I'm just trying to save you a few thousand dollars in the long run, plus I believe there is something in the warranty about that...... 👍👍.
And why don’t you guys get pilot cars for the interstate
For the 2 miles we have to get on it? Only state we have to legally have a pilot car is Montana.
Do you use the same diesel fuel in all vehicles road or field? In the UK tractors etc use “red” marked diesel (lower tax) and road vehicles use DERV (Diesel exclusively for road vehicles)
No we use red for off road vehicles (tractors and combines) and clear for on road vehicles (trucks and pickups)
@@HaydenOnHarvest Thanks. How much cheaper is red in the US? People here will use red on the road but if Customs stop and dip you they’ll take your vehicle until you pay a hefty fine 😳
@@davidgirvan6007 10 to 25 cents in most places. Mind you this is American Diesel so it cost about $3 less a gallon when compared to the price you pay over there.
👍 uk: White diesel cost equivalent to $8.60 a gallon. Red diesel equivalent to $5.65
I use LPG in my road vehicle equivalent price $4.55
I always disliked that hill back in the early 2000’s hauling combines
