Hey Matt, I enjoy your videos and your knowledge! I'm 58 and I love harvest season. I had a little health setback about 8 weeks ago, actually lost me 7 times during emergency surgery and it was a wake up call for me. I miss being on a combine or CP more than ever, it's my passion! You wouldn't by any chance know anyone up there that needs a harvester operator for 10 -12 bucks an hour do you? I know that sounds cheap but it covers my happiness. I know you know what I mean! Thanks! Keep up the good work!
When my son and 2 nephews were together we called them Hoover, Eureka and Dyson the way they sucked up food!
You are a smart farmer.
Thanks for sharing the plot results
Damm 100 bushel yields I wound not be bitching in eastern Colorado we have to irragate to get them heals
Good video good to see y'all
Good old Lucky 13 LOL
Great camera and drone shots thought this one!
Love seeing you do research on your own. Looks like the fungicide treatment didn’t pay for itself. Only through plots like this do we learn to change or not the production strategies we use to produce crops. Need an update on the cotton after seeing the beans.
Good lookin' average on your wheat! Hopefully you'll get some rain soon for the cotton and other crops.
Matt i was up your way Saturday. The kids was wanting to see your little pond you have. I told them it rained so yall were probably resting. Didn’t want to disturb yall.
No rest here. I was in the field chopping pigweed
if everything was guarente in farmer every one would be farming no year is same i planted wheat in 74 in dec 23 blinding snow made 60 buper acre not every year that would work wheat is a varible in my area a drone shot of those test plots woulld havee been great good luck tie a chain on that planter keep on rolling 😁
Yeah usually fungicides delay maturity too I could never see the economical value in spraying them that's why I went from 20 inch
Love the channel but you should consider trimming down your lead in.
20in row soybeans to 30 in row soybeans I farm an old lakebottom where they don't get mold on 30s and do not delay harvest
🦾🦾
Thats a lot of work with that many plots. and do you adjust the moisture to say 14% and then compare yield .
Adjust to 13.5% moisture
Crazy question- would Pix work on your soybeans like it does in cotton?
No. Mepiquat Chloride (Pix) has no activity on any other crops we grow
