- Toy Story 3! Not my personal favorite, but it's pretty darn close. Even though I still like the fourth movie for what it was, this is still a fantastic conclusion to the mainline trilogy. And CinemaSins didn't care, as they make some of the most poorly-thought out nitpicks ever. Here's my video about it, which ended up being WAY longer than I expected.
Disclaimer: I don't have much ill will towards CinemaSins, I just want to point out the many mistakes they've made in their videos.

Thank you. I can't stand Cinemasins and their Bullcrap. And you pointed out actual mistakes and corrected Jeremy perfectly. That part with the little green men getting stuck at 16:57 has always bothered me too as how exactly did Lotso even manage to reach out a grab Woody as there was a pretty big gap between where the garbage was and the top of the container plus to reach out perfectly as well. That's the only part that ever bothered me about Toy Story 3. But still great video.
I think the reason why Andy has such a fondness for Woody is because it's heavily implied (not outright confirmed, but implied) that Woody was a present from Andy's father before he either divorced Andy's mom or died, and therefore it's special to him.
Have you seen Super Carlin Brothers video on that? It's actually really cool, and I think it might be canon, even though Andrew Stanton denies it
I have not, but I personally like this headcanon even if Stanton disagrees. It just... makes a lot of sense to me.
Didn't I recall as well that Andy's Mom in Toy Story 2 clearly stated at the yard sale that he was an airloom of sorts? Its led to that fan theory as well that Jessie's owner was Andy's Mom.

It’s a neat theory but I doubt it can actually be the case. If I recall correctly Mr. Potatohead in the first movie said Woody was Andy’s favourite toy since he was three. Assuming that Molly is Andy’s full sister then Andy’s father would have to have been in the picture significantly after Andy got Woody

Whenever Andy called the toys “trash” or “junk,” I always interpreted it as Andy not meaning that and only saying it to get his mom off of his back.
I thought so too, but I was trying to point out that the toys didn't take it that way, and thought he was being serious

Woody tries to explain something, the other toys don’t listen and oh look at that, the entire rest of the movie is a consequence for not listening to him

I’m gonna say that when Jessie says, “I can’t breathe.” It’s because she is having a panic attack. She maybe has issues from her first owner abandoning her
jessie did them panic attacks long before puss in boots made it "cool"
And she also has clostrophobia as shown in Toy Story Terror.

I kind of saw that as CinemaSins agreeing with Big Baby that Lotso sucks, though maybe that's just me

2:38 Woody holds sentimental value for Andy. True, he was enamored with his cool new Buzz toy in the first movie, but after thinking he lost Woody, he came to realize how much he loved him and began playing with him equally as Buzz, and from then on, we still saw that Woody was still his favorite.
3:46 For all we know, the other army guys already bailed. Or maybe they were already thrown out and these three had been lost at the bottom of the toy chest, hence why they knew they would be thrown out when the chest is cleaned out, because that's what happened to the others.
5:17 Jessie is on the verge of having a panic attack due to the trauma of being put in storage for years. Her "can't breathe" is a result of her panic, not because there's not enough air. Have you ever see someone with claustrophobia react to enclosed spaces? Saying they can't breathe is almost a stereotype for them. And even if toys don't actually breathe, its obviously a simulation they act out.

Lotso was left behind and then discovered that he was just replaced, making him feel like toys were never really loved and are easily replaced. Those are completely different experiences.

Me: Yeah, while I do think this movie’s over rated (not a bad film and it’s still good but majorly over hyped), even I know that sinning the scene where Woody and his friends almost burn to death is worth an infinity and beyond number of sins. What Jeremy? It’s too dark for you? First of all, grow a spine. Two, quit being a cry baby. Third, what’s wrong with a movie aimed at families/younger audiences being dark? Can it go too far? Sure. But it’s not automatically bad to do that.
