Every time me and my friends talk about the Toy Story franchise, one of us always at least brings up how Toy Story 3 is the most satisfying and perfect conclusion to the series as a whole.
As I said in the last Toy Story video, Toy Story 3 is a perfect ending, The Toys moving on from Andy and getting a new owner as Andy grows up into College and moves on to form his own future, the ending was so emotional and sad but also wholesome and sweet, and then They made a Toy Story 4 who as a movie, it's well-made, but as a Sequel it's kinda disspointing and Toy Story 5 is just pushing it
Absolutely agree with you. TS4 isn't a bad movie or story, but it *is* a bad sequel to TS3. Toy Story 3 just wraps up the story in a neat package and shows the toys as a group who will stick together and help this new child find joy and imagination while their first human continues on in life. It fits the journey of a toy that is beloved in childhood and donated or given away to someone else in the future. It also keeps the characters progressing in their respective arcs whereas TS4 had to reverse course for characters like Woody and go off the rails for characters like Buzz.

@@LadyOfTheEditsBuzz litterally used the other voice lines that were registered. Buzz from TS2 didn't needed that, he used his courage to find Woody and bringing him back to Andy.
I want to live in an alternate dimension where Toy Story is just a trilogy, no live-action remakes and films like Atlantis and Treasure Planet were both box office successes.
The scene of Andy giving away his toys to Bonnie is one of the most beautiful, moving, heart warming and yet heartbreaking scenes in any movie. It’s beautifully built up to given everything we’ve experienced with both Andy and the toys. You know that Andy still loves all of them but you also are met with the sad reality that the two can’t be together anymore and it’s time to move on. It’s a sad reality of growing up that we all have to face but it doesn’t mean that the childlike play is gone forever. As Andy goes through each toy and ends with Woody, it feels incredibly moving and touching that despite the fact that Andy is grown up, he still loves and cherished each toy. Combine that with his thanking them and Woody’s so long partner and the final shot of the film to the sky where the clouds are shaped like the wallpaper in the first movie…absolutely fucking incredible. It is one of the saddest scenes in any movie and it makes me sob buckets EVERY time I watch this film. And in 2010, this was the best way to end the franchise on a high note and it still is. This SHOULD have been it. And OF COURSE Disney and Pixar ruin this beautiful and moving scene for money because OF COURSE they did.
THANK YOU!!! The scene with Andy being hesitant about giving his personal favorite toy to Bonnie, and we, the audience, see that Bonnie was all over Woody and loved him very much, was so heartwarming, yet so sad. We see that he’s letting go and growing up. But apparently not in TS4, where we see that Woody is replaced by a freaking SPORK!! She chose a plastic utensil over a vintage, PRICELESS toy that Andy HIMSELF gave her!! That’s a huge slap in the face to the audience who grew up with the franchise. WE KNEW that Bonnie loved Woody in TS3, WE KNEW how much Woody meant to Andy, and WE KNEW that Woody wouldn’t have abandon his friends for Bo, considering HE CHOSE THEM OVER GOING TO COLLEGE WITH ANDY!!! And suddenly Bo Peep returns and he just goes with her?! Not to mention they changed her whole character to appeal to modern feminism and gave her the generic Disney face. TS4 sucks, I consider TS3 to be the canon ending.
@@t1mburt0nsdandruff To be fair, even if it’s “the generic Disney face”, I consider it an IMPROVEMENT over her original face which just looks UNCANNY the more I stare at it.
Toy Story 3 really was the perfect finally to the Toy Story franchise. It was able to convey so many meanings and it when Woody said. "So long.... Partner." It really felt like it was the end of a story, but the start of a new one. This film makes you feel all kinds of emotions and teaches the inevitability of change. A masterpiece, in my opinion.
Toy Story 3 was always my most favorite movie of the bunch and it’s the first one I ever watched growing up and introduced me to the franchise, It’s one of my most favorite Pixar films.
I think it's mainly because while it's a good movie, it isn't as fresh as Toy Story 2. I mean, Toy Story 2 added so much depth to the franchise. It also had more impact on the animation industry.
It might be with how characters other than Woody were handled? TS3 again follows the trend of putting the focus on Woody, but the other toys just kinda flounder about until Woody shows up to deliver any sort of plot-important plans? Buzz gets reprogrammed, and while there is some comedy with Spanish Buzz, he's not in the same leader role as previous films. Toy Story 2 allowed some of the other characters-Hamm, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, and Slinky-to be active in the mission, and Jessie and Bulls-Eye were central protagonists alongside Woody. But by TS3, most of these characters have some dialogue but are starting to feel like an amorphous mass in the background (which was made even worse in TS4). It's the unfortunate problem of having too large of a cast. I think TS3 is still a strong movie though.
Even though there’s Toy Story 4 movie, I will not acknowledge it as a part of the entire Toy Story movie series. Toy Story 3 will always be in my heart my favorite Toy story movie and the perfect ending movie for the series.
neither will i. i remember the look on my face in february last year when i heard a fifth damn movie was confirmed. im pissed af. its an even bigger cash grab & im not even gonna bother with that crap. my dad & i went 2 disney world with our lake friends in february this year. it was my second time there since i was seven in 2002 & i had even more fun than last time! my favorite part was meeting woody at toy story land cuz hes my favorite like andy. i met jessie first, hugged her & she walked me over 2 him! i was ecstatic, told him “hey woody! hey partner!” & hugged the shit outta him!!! my dad said itd been a while since he saw that big of a smile on my face. i wore one of my toy story shirts & they pointed at themselves on it. they were gonna autograph it but i dont think they were allowed so woody got a paper from a staff lady. he signed it first & i hugged the shit outta him again while jess did. we went back the next day & rode slinky too. i dont like roller coasters but slink looked like a gentler one & i gave him a try. we were in the last car & i was really nervous. on the first drop i was like “omg”. i felt like i was falling. when he launched i was like “oh god” but i got used 2 it after that. i was still nervous tho. when everybody else put their hands up on the hills i only put one up & held the bar with my other one. wheezy didnt move at the end & neither did his mouth but he still sang. the animatronics mustve been broken. slink said so long pals when i got off & i told him so long slink. hes my second favorite cuz i love dogs & he was woodys best friend b4 buzz. i was really surprised i wasnt even nauseous & glad i did it. a week from 2morrows gonna be 10 years since i got woody at toys r us!!! i got him with me right now & a couple days after i bought him i promised him id always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am!!! i didnt care if i was 19!!! but two years ago i was sleeping with him & his head came off :( when i woke up the next day i was as devastated as andy was when he ripped his arm in the second movie. i guess it was just wear & tear. i got it back on but now it shakes & turns a lot. & now when i pull his string sometimes he doesnt say his sayings from the movie like hes supposed 2 & just says im being loud. i guess thats just wear & tear too. im trying 2 keep my promise & never, ever, ever, ever break it like andy never did & like bonnie should never have. im glad toys r us opened back up in macys but i hope they open their real stores back up like they were gonna b4 the pandemic. i still love it & toys
While I don’t hate Toy Story 4, my biggest issue I do have with the film is that it does make the incinerator climax less emotionally intense and impactful. Watching TS3 for the first time in theaters, that moment was really intense and horrifying because you really felt like the toys we’ve grown attached to over 2 films were in a situation which presented no other ways of escape and when they come together, hold hands and close their eyes, accepting their approaching deaths, you really felt like it there was the possibility it could be the end for them. Making the moment where the LGM save them at the last moment all the more satisfying and a great source of relief. Now with a 4th film in existence, the scene looses that sense of intensity and inevitable doom because now first time viewers marathoning the films know with the knowledge of the 4th film, they’ll survive.
They were pretty stupid tbh. The bonnie era isn't my favorite. I wish we could a movie taken after ts2 but before he grows up for some of ghe old stuff.
"So long... partner." That moment is when he's finally let go of Andy. He finally moved on from his past and found a new owner in Bonnie. He'll always treasure the memories he made with Andy, but he won't let nostalgia hold him back from finding peace in a new owner. He's matured from TS1, where he nearly became a villain.
Toy Story 3 is my favorite movie of all time. I grew up watching this franchise and this was a perfect ending. I know many don’t like that we are getting a 5th one but I’m okay with it. Pixar usually always succeeds with their story telling and Toy Story 4 wasn’t that bad
The Toy Story movie will all ways have a special place in my heart I love the characters and storyline so much If only we could have special animated adventures like this again
TS3 was the perfect finale for the series. I would have loved it if Sid helped Woody. Like he gave him a ride to the daycare after Woody showed himself. It would have been some nice closure for them to do this and made peace.
I'll never understand why Toy Story 4 is a thing. Toy Story 3 was an amazing end to the movie franchise with an amazing message, the stakes had never been higher (THEY ALMOST DIED IN A FIRE!) and it had so much love and heart behind it and an amazing ending with Andy going off to college and the toys being at a new and good home. Toy Story 4 just spits it in the face of the entire franchise.
i couldnt have said it better myself. this was the perfect finale & the fourth movie was just a cash grab that ruined it. the fifth damn movies an even bigger damn one thats just gonna ruin it & our childhoods a hell of a lot more
I have always loved this sequel, and still do; and while I admit that it does have problems, there are way more good things than bad about it. However, there are some criticisms about it that people have, which I think are completely ridiculous, which I will address here. Mostly this: It is NOT a rehash of Toy Story 2. I don’t know why people keep saying this! Yes, it does have SIMILAR elements to Toy Story 2, but like you said: It is a REVERSE of the message in that movie. For TS2, Woody was the one who had to learn the lesson to always stick with his kid, even if he was left aside for a while; because just because it seemed like his kid didn’t need him anymore, it didn’t mean that he would NEVER need him. Just like the message from the FIRST movie! To spend as much time as he could being played with by his child, because it wouldn’t last forever. But for TS3, it was everyone ELSE who had to learn that lesson; not to not leave Andy, because at that point nothing else could be done, and they were actually RIGHT in that scenario that they should move on. What they did have to learn, however, was to stick together no matter what, and Woody also had to learn that. Taking the lesson that he learned from the second film, he stuck by his kid no matter what; not accepting yet, that there was another kid out there that he could bring joy to, and to move on. Yes, both films involve Woody leaving his friends; but how and why he left them are completely different. In TS2, Woody was literally STOLEN. He had no choice. Yes, he did choose to stay later on due to his changed mindset with Prospector and Jessie; but when he DID eventually change his mind, Prospector literally held him hostage. But for TS3, he CHOSE to escape Sunnyside. There was no rescue mission for Woody, like in the previous film. They ALL had to work together to rescue one another, and to escape together. Now, you might say: What about the villains? They’re both pretty similar! And while I don’t disagree with that, I still do think that there are enough distinctions between both Stinky Pete and Lotso that absolve it from being a complete re-hash. Firstly, Stinky Pete had never actually EXPERIENCED being abandoned by kids. He had just never actually been played with, because he was the least popular character from Woody’s Round Up, so no kid ever bought him. He was bitter, and had never actually experienced the joy of having an owner, or being played with. So he thought, what’s the point? He had accepted that being in a display case in a museum was his fate, and thought that nothing in life could possibly be better, or that there was nothing else for him. Lotso, on the other hand, had experienced firsthand what it was like to be abandoned, and to be replaced. The pain from that made him grow cold, and to think that if he couldn’t be loved, than no one could. So, one had that same emotional trauma that both Woody and all of his friends had, to be loved only to be forgotten and replaced; while the other merely had an idea of what it was like, so he wanted no part of it. Because to be loved, does open up the risk of being left and being forgotten. And having that personal experience, Lotso was able to better manipulate Woody’s friends. So, no; I don’t think that TS3 is a rehash of TS2. I can see people’s points when they talk about this, but I just disagree.
I still think the Live action Toy Story 3 video is still amazing compared to the original thanks to the McGrew brothers who made the entirety of Toy Story 3 in live action
You said that Andy stopped playing with his toys when he was like 17 and I'm currently watching this 17 years ago and playing with my Legos right now! 😂😂
Such a good review and agree with everything. I do agree Toy Story 3 along with those shorts was the perfect ending. The animation is so good, it looks like it’s live action. Toy Story 3 is also a good movie on childhood and nostalgia. It’s one of my favorite movies.
tell me about it. it was the perfect finale & the fourth one was just a cash grab that ruined it. the fifth movies an even bigger one thats just gonna ruin it a hell of a lot more
I miss when it was just 1, 2 and 3 and I thought about what Toy Story 4 would be about. Once Bonnie had grown up and stopped playing with the toys like Andy did, maybe Bonnie's mom would've called Andy or talked to Andy's mom since they already knew each other, maybe finding out Andy has kids or is expecting them and would be happy about his toys being given to his kids like a family heirloom or something. I would've loved to see a story about that and the importance of sentimental items with care, love and memories, rather than seeing it as just an object with no meaning. Instead we got a Toy Story 4 with nothing like that and spits in the face of the original messages of the past 3 movies and now they're making a 5th one for some stupid reason.
You can actually see other toys like Wheezy and Bo Peep in the flashback with a young Andy, it makes the reveal that only a few toys are left even more devastating.
This movie made me cry when i was a child (i was 8 when it came out). Now as a 21 year old dude i still think this was a great ending to the franchise but i absolutely do think some stuff wasn't really the best for me (Aka Buzz being reseted for the entire second act of the film). Even if i think the second film is the best, this one is still a good one!
I need you to make a BH6 video. It's one of my favorite Disney films, and it came out at the perfect time (following Frozen and 7 years into the MCU without superheroes feeling boring).
After Toy Story 3 Pixar has suffered sequelnitus where their quality has mostly been a mix bag, while I prefer Pixar making original films, I do hope they improve their sequels too.
The reason why the first 11 Pixar movies were absolute classics was because it can appeal to all ages at the same time Kids find the characters appealing Adults find the story appealing
I love how in the end credits after Lotso's defeat Barbie and Ken truly reformed Sunnyside Daycare and how Lotso's former henchmen endure all the the rough-playing from the toddlers at the caterpillar room to make up for working with him the sand box also went from being a solitary confinement to a beach and every night when there's nobody around the toys could have parties in the butterfly room
I remember my friend and I wanted to watch the Toy Story franchise, but I said we should only watch the trilogy and considered the 4th one to be not canon

Can you please breakdown Disney sidekicks and compare the old ones with the new ones like you did with heroes and villains? With the rise of the spider-verse franchise, I think you need a video about the rest of sony animation movies. Lastly, I'm waiting for rankings of other Disney movie eras.
I know Toy Story 3 is just a movie, but every time I watch the incinerator scene I ball my eyes out every time (because of all of the characters that I, as a fan; have grown to love is all in that garbage pit; holding hands (sometimes even closing their eyes and cuddling because they either like each other (with Buzz and Jessie especially), or they are together (like with Mr and Mrs. Potato Head)) as they are about to accept death as their fate into their firey pit). But then I laugh every time the three alien dudes shout; "The CLAWWWWWWW!" both when they run to the claw, and after they use it to save Woody and the gang! But it's a laugh with sad tears as they save them (and reminds me of how "everything comes full circle sometimes in life in general!") Toy Story 3 is also my favorite Toy Story movie out of the four Toy Stories movies!
I’m honestly so worried about Toy Story 5 because even with all of Toy Story 4’s problems i still really enjoyed it and it’s message. It still had something to say. Toy Story 5’s current plot synopsis is basically just Bonnie learns how to mew (It’s actually Toys vs Technology but basically everyone’s used Bonnie watches skibidi toilet)
Toy Story 3 is like lightning in a bottle. It can't be replicated or overshadowed. That is what makes it so perfect and that's why the fourth one is inferior. I admit, I do like the fourth one because I have a soft spot for the main characters and I like how Bo came back but it really should have ended with the third one. The animation was stunning and realistic, but they had the opportunity and missed it to make it greater than it had to be. I think what bothered me most about the fourth film is that it lacked what the 3rd had, like an actual villain and thematic elements. The incinerator was probably the scariest scene in a Pixar film and no film has ever come close to that. I kinda wish we saw more intense scenes like that in other films or even in the fourth. It would have been interesting if they made the fourth one PG. And the fact that this film is 14 years old says a lot because it is now defined as a modern masterpiece. So I believe it should have ended and stayed as a trilogy. They should just let it rest. And I don't see why there is a need for a fifth one. I feel like Disney and Pixar started falling the moment John Lasseter left. Because really he was the reason the movies were good and successful. And now people are just trying to replicate it and it doesn't work.
I think the three films are about Andy's imagination. Toy Story 1 is where Andy focuses more on Buzz instead of Woody, that makes Woody jealous. Toy Story 2 is where Andy plays with Woody and Buzz, as Woody and Buzz became best friends. Toy Story 3 is where Woody originally wanted to keep the toys in the attic and take Woody to college with him, but gives the toys to Bonnie in the end of the film.
its last shot was the clouds just like the ones on andys wallpaper & thats the very first shot of the first one. it was the perfect finale like u said & the fourth damn one ruined it & our childhoods. the shorts & tv specials after that were awesome but not a fourth one & sure as hell not a fifth damn one. woody would never leave buzz & his family. it didnt make any sense at all 4 bonnie 2 just leave him in her closet after toy story that time 4got. she was all over him in that, toy story of terror & the three shorts. then she just pretends she never found him & plays with a damn fork she made. she doesnt even realize hes gone at the end. nobody would ever play with a stupid fucking fork they made over a real toy like him & she shouldve been devastated she lost him like andy was in the first one. he & buzz said in this whatever happened they were all gonna be 2gether 4 infinity & beyond & thats the way it shouldve been. the fourth one was just a cash grab & the fifth ones an even bigger damn one. i tried being a little open minded when i saw ts4 but not much & im not even gonna bother with ts5. pixars milking it & it pisses me off
I know a lot of people became emotional during the incinerator scene, but I never have. The first time I watched the movie, I cynically knew Disney wouldn't murder beloved characters, even in a Pixar film, so I just sat there waiting for the deus ex machina to appear. But that doesn't mean I don't recognize the thematic intention of accepting one's fate and choosing to stick together, facing death with acceptance because you have each other. It truly was a poignant moment that any sequels will continually undermine.
No offense but i have to Come clear. Yes i agree that everyone has their own opinions but when it comes to this, it becomes overwhelming, it has come to a point that this films "Fanbase" is taken way too seriously, treating everyone else like they have to have the same exact Thought on it. For me i'm actully different I personaliy hate this film, i really do, i did back then and i still do to this day, My main issue with this film is that its focused way too much on Continuity, now i'm not saying this because i watch a lot of Stuff where continuity doesnt matter, i actually think they can be very important within Most narrative, but this pretty much goes way beyond the usual. at the end of the day, i prefer cars 2 , not because its a sequel to my favorite Pixar film, but because it was able to Stand on its own weather you see cars 1 first or cars 2 first. Yes i respect your opinions and all but that doesnt mean you should say that yours is flawless.
u said it. ts4 ruined the perfect finale this was & all our childhoods. woodys my favorite like andy & 2morrows gonna be 10 years since i got him at toys r us!!! i got him with me right now & i promised him id always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am like he did & like bonnie shouldve!!! i didnt care if i was 19 & still dont if im 29!!! im gonna do something special with him. im glad toys r us opened back up in macys but i hope they open their real stores back up like they were gonna b4 covid. i still love it & toys

@@Lucid_PZPLthere is no similarities between TS2 and TS4.
Buzz wasn't an idiot, he was smart enough to help Woody without using the other voice.
Probably because they let Adam from YourMovieSucks dictate their lives.
I've never realized the amount of foreshadowing that was in the opening scene until now
The ending of the movie made me cry all the tears of my body so many times and even till this day I feel emotional when watching it.
I dont like to forget about any of my toys. Its just being an adult means theres just no time 😢
Even though there’s Toy Story 4 movie, I will not acknowledge it as a part of the entire Toy Story movie series.
I remember holding the hand of my step-brother at the scene of the incinerator, like the toys did.
This movie was so good, after seeing it in the theater, as soon as it came on DVD we'd rewatch it over and over
Kinda ironic that TS3 treated Barbie and Ken wayyyy better than the Barbie movie itself.
lol
I've been saying this for ages
Whomst is this Toy Story 4? Never heard of em! Toy Story ended at 3 and that’s it (aside from the fun little shorts and specials that came after).
They were pretty stupid tbh. The bonnie era isn't my favorite. I wish we could a movie taken after ts2 but before he grows up for some of ghe old stuff.
The ending of Toy Story 3 is one of the most emotional Pixar scenes obv
"So long... partner."
That moment is when he's finally let go of Andy. He finally moved on from his past and found a new owner in Bonnie. He'll always treasure the memories he made with Andy, but he won't let nostalgia hold him back from finding peace in a new owner. He's matured from TS1, where he nearly became a villain.
Then in Toy Story 4 he forgets all of that.
Toy Story 3 is my favorite movie of all time. I grew up watching this franchise and this was a perfect ending. I know many don’t like that we are getting a 5th one but I’m okay with it. Pixar usually always succeeds with their story telling and Toy Story 4 wasn’t that bad
I'm kinda disappointed with toy story 4's ending given how great toy story 3's was
A perfect finale that had nothing else come after it!
The Toy Story movie will all ways have a special place in my heart
I love the characters and storyline so much
If only we could have special animated adventures like this again
TS3 was the perfect finale for the series. I would have loved it if Sid helped Woody. Like he gave him a ride to the daycare after Woody showed himself. It would have been some nice closure for them to do this and made peace.
Or to the Davis’ house.
@@hunterolaughlin Yeah, or there.
Yknow, i had an idea where Sid (the garbage man) helped Woody and the gang against Lotso, he would show up and find a way to turn the incinerator off.
Especially ts4's ending,man....
i couldnt have said it better myself. this was the perfect finale & the fourth movie was just a cash grab that ruined it. the fifth damn movies an even bigger damn one thats just gonna ruin it & our childhoods a hell of a lot more
It's not just a perfect sequel it was a perfect conclusion until 4 came in to wreck that conclusion
This is still the best film in the Toy Story franchise.
TS2 and TS3 are different from each other.
TS4 tried to copy TS1, but failed.
I still think the Live action Toy Story 3 video is still amazing compared to the original thanks to the McGrew brothers who made the entirety of Toy Story 3 in live action
Nah man what are you talking about a other toy story movies, its only 3 films in total
You said that Andy stopped playing with his toys when he was like 17 and I'm currently watching this 17 years ago and playing with my Legos right now! 😂😂
Ironic that after the success of Toy Story 3 came out, it started the launch of many others sequels
I loved that movie and the game based on it.
They expanded the world with new ideas without making it off or forced.
Such a good review and agree with everything. I do agree Toy Story 3 along with those shorts was the perfect ending. The animation is so good, it looks like it’s live action. Toy Story 3 is also a good movie on childhood and nostalgia. It’s one of my favorite movies.
Toy Story 3 is one of the best examples of a sequel ever, and in my opinion, they should've concluded the franchise here.
tell me about it. it was the perfect finale & the fourth one was just a cash grab that ruined it. the fifth movies an even bigger one thats just gonna ruin it a hell of a lot more
I miss when it was just 1, 2 and 3 and I thought about what Toy Story 4 would be about.
I am fascinated with dark movies. That's why, unlike most people, I prefer toy story 3 over toy story 2.
Never give your toys to kids. She replaced woody with a freakin fork
You can actually see other toys like Wheezy and Bo Peep in the flashback with a young Andy, it makes the reveal that only a few toys are left even more devastating.
Because it didn’t invalidate the other movies but elevated then
Perfect sequel and a Perfect Conclusion to the series, if Toy Story 4 doesn't exist it would've been the best series Pixar ever produced...😢
I'm so glad they ended it here.
"But they--"
I'M GO GLAD THEY ENDED IT HERE!
I don’t really like Toy Story 4 that much cause at the end woody ends up simping for a broken lamb keeper and leaves the gang
Also Bo is a terrible person now.
The ending, It always brings tears to my eyes.
The reason why the first 11 Pixar movies were absolute classics was because it can appeal to all ages at the same time
Kids find the characters appealing
Adults find the story appealing
I love how in the end credits after Lotso's defeat Barbie and Ken truly reformed Sunnyside Daycare and how Lotso's former henchmen endure all the the rough-playing from the toddlers at the caterpillar room to make up for working with him the sand box also went from being a solitary confinement to a beach and every night when there's nobody around the toys could have parties in the butterfly room
Definitely is my favorite of the 4 movies, and one of my favorute pixar films.
I'll be beyind surprised if TS5 surpasses it.
Toy Story 3 Is The Best Toy Story Movie Because Lotso Is The Best Toy Story Villian
Hopefully the 5th movie will give us a more satisfying ending.
I remember my friend and I wanted to watch the Toy Story franchise, but I said we should only watch the trilogy and considered the 4th one to be not canon
Yes, Toy Story trilogy would be better, The third one is the perfect ending for all the toys
my dad & i just went 2 disney world with our lake friends in february. it was my second time there since i was seven in 2002 & i had even more damn fun than last time! my favorite part was meeting woody at toy story land cuz hes my favorite like andy! i saw buzz kissing a girls hand b4 that but didnt meet him & i shouldve. I definitely wanna go back sometime & i will then. i met jessie first, hugged her & she took me 2 him!!! i was ecstatic, waved 2 him, hugged the shit outta him & told him “hey woody! hey partner!” my dad said itd been a while since hed seen me smile as big as i did. i actually had a tiny feeling that i was gonna cry but i didnt. i wore one of my toy story shirts & they pointed at themselves on it. they were gonna sign it but i dont think they were allowed. i didnt get an autograph book like last time so woody got some paper from a photographer & they signed that. he did first & i hugged the shit outta him again while jess did. we went back the next day & rode slinky. i dont like roller coasters but he looked like a gentler one & i thought id ride him. we were in the last car so i was still nervous. on the first drop i was like “omg”. i felt like i was falling. when he launched i was like “oh god” but i got used 2 it. i was still nervous tho. when everybody else put their hands up on the hills i only put one up & held the bar with my other one. wheezy sang at the end but he didnt move & neither did his mouth. the animatronics were probably broken. slink said so long pals when i got off & i told him “so long slink”. hes my second favorite cuz im a dog person & he was woodys best friend b4 buzz. i was glad i rode him & really surprised i wasnt even nauseous. i saw buzz again after that b i got a picture of the toy story mania entrance but didnt go in & i shouldve. i found a video of jessies trading post & shouldve seen it. i will when i go back. it looks awesome
But it's a laugh with sad tears as they save them (and reminds me of how "everything comes full circle sometimes in life in general!") Toy Story 3 is also my favorite Toy Story movie out of the four Toy Stories movies!
take a shot every time this man says “actually”. you will die
I would totally be open to see Toy Story 5 as long as it makes sense and that it has a big emotional pay off
And then they ruin it with Toy Story 4 and *beyond*.......
I'll take my leave now.
Toy Story 3 is my favourite one out of the franchise. :)
Toy Story 2 was a perfect sequel. 3 is an ok sequel but a perfect finale.
Toy Story 4 does not exist in my mind. This was the perfect ending.
Toy Story 3 is one of the best Movies
Yeah
I would argue ts3 is better than ts2
Why Toy Story is the perfect end of a trilogy
I think the three films are about Andy's imagination. Toy Story 1 is where Andy focuses more on Buzz instead of Woody, that makes Woody jealous. Toy Story 2 is where Andy plays with Woody and Buzz, as Woody and Buzz became best friends. Toy Story 3 is where Woody originally wanted to keep the toys in the attic and take Woody to college with him, but gives the toys to Bonnie in the end of the film.
The fourth one sucked. I cannot believe they are making a fifth one.
its last shot was the clouds just like the ones on andys wallpaper & thats the very first shot of the first one. it was the perfect finale like u said & the fourth damn one ruined it & our childhoods. the shorts & tv specials after that were awesome but not a fourth one & sure as hell not a fifth damn one. woody would never leave buzz & his family. it didnt make any sense at all 4 bonnie 2 just leave him in her closet after toy story that time 4got. she was all over him in that, toy story of terror & the three shorts. then she just pretends she never found him & plays with a damn fork she made. she doesnt even realize hes gone at the end. nobody would ever play with a stupid fucking fork they made over a real toy like him & she shouldve been devastated she lost him like andy was in the first one. he & buzz said in this whatever happened they were all gonna be 2gether 4 infinity & beyond & thats the way it shouldve been. the fourth one was just a cash grab & the fifth ones an even bigger damn one. i tried being a little open minded when i saw ts4 but not much & im not even gonna bother with ts5. pixars milking it & it pisses me off
The true ending of the Toy Story franchise.
That scene was really powerful for what it was, even though we knew they were gonna live.
@@Peony246 - Agreed. Even though I wasn’t moved by it, I understood the value and emotional weight for the characters themselves.
It just works
Great Video
What happened to Lotso in the junkyard in this movie?
No offense but i have to Come clear.
Yes i agree that everyone has their own opinions but when it comes to this, it becomes overwhelming, it has come to a point that this films "Fanbase" is taken way too seriously, treating everyone else like they have to have the same exact Thought on it.
For me i'm actully different I personaliy hate this film, i really do, i did back then and i still do to this day,
My main issue with this film is that its focused way too much on Continuity, now i'm not saying this because i watch a lot of Stuff where continuity doesnt matter, i actually think they can be very important within Most narrative, but this pretty much goes way beyond the usual.
at the end of the day, i prefer cars 2 , not because its a sequel to my favorite Pixar film, but because it was able to Stand on its own weather you see cars 1 first or cars 2 first.
Yes i respect your opinions and all but that doesnt mean you should say that yours is flawless.
Out of all the films in the series, Toy Story 3 is the best!
What about Why all Horror Movies are Masterpieces?
i wonder what recycling is like for the toys
In the case of the incinerator, it's death.
Toy Story should have been the final in the Toy Story Trilogy when it came out back in 2010 but no we got Toy Story 4 which was shit back in 2019
u said it. ts4 ruined the perfect finale this was & all our childhoods. woodys my favorite like andy & 2morrows gonna be 10 years since i got him at toys r us!!! i got him with me right now & i promised him id always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am like he did & like bonnie shouldve!!! i didnt care if i was 19 & still dont if im 29!!! im gonna do something special with him. im glad toys r us opened back up in macys but i hope they open their real stores back up like they were gonna b4 covid. i still love it & toys
They’re making toy story 5
@@Shenanigans_333 i remember the look on my face when i heard two years ago. im pissed af. no offense if u wanna see it but its an even bigger cash grab than the fourth one. i barely tried being open minded when i saw the fourth one & im not even gonna bother with the fifth damn one

I like Toy Story 3
I already know why

They better not make a Toy Story 5, dammit! 🤨
They’re making a Toy Story 5.
I mean it’s Toy Story 3 is my personal favourite and the perfect ending to the franchise until Toy Story 4 showed up
Personally, for me, the perfect sequel is either Toy story two or cars two or inside out two
Toy Story 3 is the end of the franchise to me. Toy Story 4 and soon Toy Story 5 don't exist to me
pixar cooked with toy story 3 thanks pixar that shit was bomb💣
some fans say that the movie has a few hints of religious undertones due to having allegories for heaven or hell
Toy Story 4 rocks, but you don’t need to watch it. If you watch just 3, it’s perfect
Toy Story 4 was trash, this is where the trilogy ends.
I agree that Toy Story 3 is a masterpiece and an amazing ending, but Toy Story 4 is still great 🤷♂️
toy story 1 2000
They should of ended it at 3 bro.
Toy story 4 is a covid bad dream
Toy Story 2 and 3 are quite similar.
I disagree. True, they have similar existentialist themes, but TS2 was about living in the moment and making the most of it. TS3 was about learning to live with change.
@@vetarlittorf1807Toy Story 2 foreshadows 3.
Sequels must be relevant, I don't want shitty cash grab sequels
Toy story one was in 1992
Toy story 3 was in 2010
Do the math
Toy Story 3 may be good, but Jessie and the others’ behavior and Lotso’s personality are my least favorite parts. 😒
