Forget about any speedlight except SONY speedlights on SONY cameras. On my SONY A9III, the flash speed you get out of the Sony HVL-F60RM2 is absolutely mind blowing. The flash processor and the camera processor talk to each other and automatically does all the adjustment. This small 60 Joule flash works at in Hi+ (120fps), 1/16000, f/1.8, ISO 250 without any problem. Every pictures is perfectly sharp, with excellent colour. Just put it into the hot shoe on the A9III and start shooting in any mode. No fiddling, nothing. This is by far the best speed-light for SONY cameras. Nothing comes close. Period. With AF-C, the flash automatically adjust the exposure to where you focus the camera while tracking a fast moving object. Forget all the other flashes.

I could NOT acquire a GUIDE NUMBER CHART from the manufacturer. If anyone has this and is willing to share, please post a link here. I have owned and enjoyed the V860iii for a month. I'm not a rapid-fire user but am a deliberate-shooting amateur who sometimes uses legacy (i.e., fully manual) lenses and camera operation. My camera is a Sony crop-frame a6000. So, again, I enjoy using the speedlight in manual mode and I'm comfortable with charts and interpolations.

On the other hand i have Godox v860ii for Olympus and test to put it on the camera - the shoe slide in the slot with no resistance at all.

My comment: for now, Godox v860 III S has completely incompatible TTL mode with Sony A7RIV (A) and probably with others A7Rs. All pictures are underexposed -1ev... -3ev. Compensation helps but its value is difficult to predict. Most likely it depends on zoom. The same object taken at 24mm and 70mm from longer distance gives different compensation requirements. I'm in touch with producer - maybe it will be fixed in the future.

I was asked by Godox to make some measurements in order to tune up the firmware of theirs products like mentioned V860III, AD100, AD600 etc. So there is a chance that these product become fully compatible in TTL mode. Waste of money for sony user. Instead this buy tt600 with x2t. Very good combination. If have money then buy ad200pro or ad 300pro.
