I had such a similar story to this with my ex. Met her on retention while at work, just such a similar story but I won't get into it. We had a kid together and split up, and she went total psycho on me. Found out she had borderline personality disorder. This makes me believe in love again, your guy's connection is super genuine.
I don't believe in soulmates but I do genuinely believe there are people out there we can really click with. And being on retention, focusing on your best self. Gets you a good partner. And this just reminded me of that.

This just goes to show that if you work on yourself everyday and do what you know is right good things will come
as the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. I think when we decide to focus our attention to those areas that we are lacking in, things seem to turn towards them. I had been on this journey off and on and as a college student, can definately attest that during the time on A & P 2, I went through retension and helped me become more grounded and focused. appreciate the sharing and glad to hear you both are doing well and supporting each others journey.
Love that moment at the end haha that’s awesome finding someone who aligns with your beliefs and values. That’s truly rare and I’m glad it’s working out.

Great video Matt! Your story proves that there is hope as long as you work on other aspects of life and become the best version of yourself. I’m currently focusing on myself by finishing graduate school, finding a job, and quitting bad habits. Once these things are complete, I can be ready for a happy and healthy relationship.

gonna ramble a bit, so prepare xD
week ago had a picknick with a girl,
wasn't spoken out that it was a date but (to me) the vibe was totally there
lots of fun in the chatting building up to the picknick, i was sometimes even astonished on the flow of it all,
so needless to say i was pretty excited in a good way!
picknick itself was also really fun and connective, believe both of us had a great time
Now hold in mind this was my first ever real 'date' that came from mutual connection. And i'm 34years old.
(soooo anyone reading this and feeling "behind" in life, I probably one-up ya! 😉)
the picknick was great and to me totally felt good for keeping the contact going and a time in the future go do another thing together
but afterwards the contact didn't happen sadly :(

Don't rush my friend, try to find someone you can connect with so when you'll have the relationship you'll understand what emotional stability is, and this will change your perspective forever. And when you get older you will realize it doesn't change a thing loosing virginity early, I lost with 19 and now I see I wouldn't mind loosing it later on as well.
