      You right.. deceit is in heart of man...psalm 32
      1Blessed is the one
      whose transgressions are forgiven,
      whose sins are covered.
      2Blessed is the one
      whose sin the Lord does not count against them
      and in whose spirit is no deceit.
      3When I kept silent,
      my bones wasted away
      through my groaning all day long.
      4For day and night
      your hand was heavy on me;
      my strength was sapped
      as in the heat of summer. b
      5Then I acknowledged my sin to you
      and did not cover up my iniquity.
      I said, “I will confess
      my transgressions to the Lord.”
      And you forgave
      the guilt of my sin.
      6Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
      while you may be found;
      surely the rising of the mighty waters
      will not reach them.
      7You are my hiding place;
      you will protect me from trouble
      and surround me with songs of deliverance.
      8I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
      I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
      9Do not be like the horse or the mule,
      which have no understanding
      but must be controlled by bit and bridle
      or they will not come to you.
      10Many are the woes of the wicked,
      but the Lord’s unfailing love
      surrounds the one who trusts in him.
      11Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous;
      sing, all you who are upright in heart!

I feel so grateful to have managed to get out of that marraige ( and yes, he was very intelligent & VERY charming although he continously believed others envied him and that he was above most other people ) although this kind of experience did not leave anyone in my family unscathed . It gave me PTSD . I have so much smpathy for anyone who has lived with a master manipulative yet hugely charming man , its so easy to fall into the elephant pit !

I shared a story to my younger sister about an argument we had just months after starting the relationship. My sister got concerned about her and did a check. Multiple convictions for assault and financial fraud. I ended the relationship. As fast as I could.

      No, they couldn’t. I’m rather tired of this “psychopaths are misguided geniuses” nonsense. The mental qualities that actually benefit society more often involve intense detail orientation, solitary study, and a fair amount of risk aversion. This man was just manipulative and very confident with playing the averages to maximize the payout *to himself.*
      He can appear clever only because he notices opportunities no decent person notices. Such people are useful when you’re trying to compete with another tribe (you send your parasitic monsters after their parasitic monsters), but absolutely useless when it comes to generating real value in an absolute (non-relative) sense.

    Hi Dr Grande! Would you please do a video on the disturbing rise in violence across the country? Most of my life has been spent working in NYC. I haven’t seen things this disturbing since the 1970’s. It. May even be worse. All of my doctors are in the city, I partied all night when I was in my 20’s. I knew how to be careful and raised my daughter to do the same. I felt comfortable at night in most parts of Manhattan and no feel intense anxious when my daughter goes into the city. I used to think that she’d be OK since she went with friends Orr her boyfriend. They’re not partiers but that’s no longer a preventative method. People are RANDOMLY being grievously injured. I cannot imagine the terror and trauma of the victims of being jumped during daytime in public places. I’m grateful that my daughter and her friends stopped going into the City for fun and have chosen Hoboken as their new stomping grounds. Hoboken police are constantly visible, arrest and prosecute people instead of issues warnings. I’m uncomfortable going to doctors’ appointments and no longer feel safe when I used to enjoy admiring the different architectural styles of buildings. I don’t go into the City for pleasure any more. I’ve been in NYC since 1976 and have been going into the City on my own since I was 17. I am not a fearful person. I’m just shocked, horrified and confused. I believe our last president stirred-up so much hate that it encouraged hate, decisiveness and to disregard the basic rights of other citizens. Please do a study of the causes of the terrifying rise in brutal attacks across the country. Thank you.

      I think a lot of the violence nowadays is racially motivated, and I haven't seen this level of racially motivated violence in my life. I was born in the '70s, so I missed out on the civil rights struggles of the '50s and '60s. It's really frightening. People are becoming openly racist on social media when they used to have the good sense to hide that.
