- It's been some time ever since I made a FGO English Dub Highlight video, so today I did one featuring the coolest bunny girl / Pharaoh in FGO, I'm talking about Nitocris, hope you enjoy the video! 😍
Big shoutout to Nitocris English Voice Actress, Gina Bowes who did an amazing job portraying Nitocris! She mostly does supporting roles but I see a lot of potential for her as a voice actress, I'm sure she will get a lot of main roles soon! 🔥

It's funny that despite outranking Ramses in divinity, she still suffers from a inferiority complex.
To be fair the poor girl only ever became pharaoh because of conspirators killing her beloved family so they could puppeteer her. She was angry, grieving, and felt disgraced as a pharaoh. Add vengeance to the mix and bam! Instant suicide massacre of the ages.

Trivial literature tipbit - Nitocris' character was used in two short stories: 1. a revenge story of getting the priesthood of rival egyptian deity responsible of killing her brother in an elaborate trap in the guise of religious evening party feast, 2. A Cthulhu Mytho story 🤪
Gotta love the irony of the fact that the Egyptians built the Pyramids to be burial tombs and statements to the sanctity of death and the life after, yet in FATE they are commonly "palaces" and are used for the living.

@@itstoasty7089To be fair, both DB and OP began with really awful dubs (1999-2005 era Funi dub and the 4kids dub of OP) and it took them a lot of time to eventually improve their voice acting quality and directions lol.

Anime sucks these days
Most shows do suck or aren't memorable. If you go out of your way you can pinpoint genres you prefer and then research high quality shows for that genre or in general. If you don't mind dated visuals/audio it doesn't hurt to also look into older shows.
Out of recent anime/animations I've seen Cyberpunk:Edgerunners, Arcane, SpyXFamily, Jujutsu Kaisen S2, Bleach: TYBW, Hell's Paradise were some I enjoyed from the last 2-ish years.
Older shows I enjoyed were HunterXHunter (2011), Great Teacher Onizuka, Gurren Lagann, One Punch Man/Mob Psycho 100, JoJo, Tower of God, Konosuba, Promised Neverland s1 (we don't talk about season 2), Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Monster, Getbackers, One Piece (very long), Hajime no Ippo (this show got me to start boxing). Demon Slayer (great animations but I don't think it has good writing.)
There were some movies I enjoyed a lot mainly from Ghibli Films. Grave of the Fireflies made me tear up plenty and Spirited Away is just a generally really well received movie that still aged well I think.
I don't generally watch English Dub but I think Dragonball did it fairly well. Ghost Stories' dub is so bad that it ends up good and so does YuGiOh's dub. The original show's plots aren't great and are serious but the nonsense the dubs brings changes the context entirely and makes them a lot more humorous.
Fate is an engaging IP but I don't think it's particularly great and the animation carries it for me just like Demon Slayer so I'm more of a fan of the studio Ufotable than the IP. The non-ufotable Fate series didn't really leave an impression on me.
Then again we might have different preferences so this all could have been pointless.
