You know, in many versions of Arthurian legend, Galahad was not only Lancelot's son but also the heart and soul of the Order of the Round Table. So in a way Lancelot here is not only being chastised by Mash, but also his son and the soul of the Round Table itself. Which is rather fitting since Mash is literally hitting him over the head with said Round Table
Definitely, in fact I'd say he's being chastised primarily by Galahad here. Mash doesn't know anything about Artoria's ideals or that of the KOTR, this is 100% Galahad's memories and personality shining through her.
If Galahad was Grand Saber himself,Lancelot would be literally finished.

as lancelot. Lancelot was basically a sword god with how skilled he was if anything it should have been
saber lancelot or pan human history musashi who get that title.
Galahad is also the knight who searched for and found the Holy Grail, his pure heart caused him to be sent to heaven when he touched it. Mash’s part 1 story is a retelling of Galahad’s search for the Holy Grail

Also at the end- Mash used the most powerful disarming move in FGO: Calling Lancelot "Dad". And it was effective.

His VA also did Aizen, Eacanor and Kamina. Talk about range.

I just learn that Lancelot and Mash was Mihaly and Brownie (respectively VAs) from Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown.
And then (imagine this), Brownie (instead of being shot) was alive and beat Mihaly in Dogfighting. Then negotiate for peace to rescue Harling (which either dead or alive) and prove that Mage 2 Trigger was innocent. After that time (with Erusean Capital falls on Sept 19), The Lighthouse War was over and the Three Pilots (Trigger, Brownie and Mihaly) have dinner with Long Caster and Sky Keeper (don't forget Clown and Golem 1).
Fin (the end).
"The time for words is over, Sir Lancelot."
Proceeds to talk and monologue for the rest of the video.
All while beating the crap out of the man one-sidedly. Then again, it IS Galahad.

The further into the fight, the more Mash's eyes change color from their regular purple to yellow. Just like when Galahad first possessed her. Nice detail for the animators to include!

That was an a$$beating 1500 years in the making. You just know that Galahad was using this as an excuse to work out some issues regarding Lancelot's impropriety with Queen Guinevere and the damage it did to Camelot as a result.
A shame you didn't include the very start of this fight where she just sends him flying mid-monologue. GAH I LOVE HER SO MUCH

Is a shame that in the game Mash and Lancelot doesnt have an special effect when they re together on the fiel or at least a duo NP

I honestly prefer Lancelot’s voice work and design from Fate/Zero, it all round made him look and sound more suave and tragic. Yeah I know it’s the same VA and time has passed but his new gruffer take isn’t my thing. Also on a side note I’ve never liked Galahad, especially Fate’s version. Self righteous “Cosby” baby, took Percival’s glory as the grail knight, since Percival already had “that” spear. Also the dude screwed his kingdom, by returning the holy grail and didn’t suffer the hard times that were to come live elsewhere. Still has the nerve to look down on his father and others while acting like he’s just as tragic.

@@EppHyper possibly but luckily for me (and unfortunately for Mash) I got 4 star servants very early on. The berserker class servant especially carried me because doing super effective damage to all enemies (except the very rare foreign class) made most early game enemies very easy.
@@petelee2477 well you will come around to using mash when you reach endgame fights, mash really shines in them and allows you dmg servants to do their job reliably

While she never became a staple by any means and still isn't a common choice she was a linchpin in a few key battles.
She won't become obsolete until either Merlin or Jeane finally answers my call.

I don't think any of the Knights except Mordred were really trying until before the end. Their hearts were all over the place in this point of the story.
@@Fukei_Mono Gawain and Tristan certainly tried. Tristan became psycho due to Inverse and Gawain resigned himself to be a tool of Lion King and do everything she ordered. To the point he sliced Gareth in two with no hesitation. And Agravain just went along

Unfortunately, it's not available on any streaming services right now as far as I know. You either have to buy the Blu-rays or rent or buy it digitally on places like TH-cam or Apple TV.

The thing about Galahad is that he is a Grail Knight AND a Knight of Purity. In the Arthurian Legends , all of his magical weapons only works under the premise of him been Pure.
The sole exception been the Sword of Strange Hangings and his shield.
No matter how powerful Galahad's toolkit is , those conditions makes unusable.
Sometimes the power of a character is irrelevant because these servants aren't just numbers... In fate the bigger number doesn't always win, sometimes there are extra circumstances that say, Nah this stronger character looses because the weaker has a very specific advantage.
Are we gonna ignore the fact that the best part of the fight, Lancelot initially getting launched by a comical bonk, was left out?
How many people does the king need to kill to save them?

The scene that got me into Fate. To be honest, when I played through this part in the game, I made sure that Mash was the one to get the final blow on Lancelot. It wouldn't have felt right otherwise.

Good news for you… Fate Grand Order - First Order, Fate Grand Order - Grand Temple of Time Solomon both already came out in English Dub. The only thing missing that were waiting for to come out is Fate Grand Order - Moonlight/Lostroom. 🙂👍

Can anyone explain when he said the shield is the round table. Like what, is it made from a piece or it just design that way.
Basically, either the whole table or a section of the table was integrated into Mash's shield. As a result it's incredibly strong and has certain magical abilities, including serving as a summoning agent.
