Amazing work, truly made a 328ti not just an M52B28 swap
The best exhaust to use is a lengthened Z3 2.8. Sweet conversion though - looks very, very nice.
You my friend have fulfilled my dream for my 1998 318ti California Top. I’m going to get there one day soon. I love your artistry. Keep up the amazing work. 🔥
Fantastic build mate! I've done that on my 318ti. Now upgrading to m54b30. But used as a drift car only with locked diff. They boogie!
Respect bro e36 4life ❤
I did the same in 2019/20 and the result is super !!!
great work and hours spent , love the result!
The color on that 328 was wild.
The music is awesome man! I love the build!
328TI EXIST?
Absolute great work!!! Thanks....
very well done! looking forward for my ti to finish too :)
Did you use the 328i exhaust?
audi quattro is my dream car
Nice, looks incredible, especially the underside. Can i ask why you kept the 318ti muffler? Doesn't that restrict the power of the new engine?
Wow that's clean! Nice work
insanely fire.
What type of paint did you use on the parts like Differential and suspension?
So in order to just start the car you delete ews through the ecu???
(Trying to do the same in my car) I thought you needed also some wiring???
Really clean job, nice
By the way , why you use single pipe exhaust at the back ? I think dual pipe exhaust is more better performance
Why did you put a stock 318 muffler on it?
Love this
Awesome!!! Really impressed! Where are you from?
Hey buddy, your steering joint ist not phased correctly, always install this joints 90 degree from each other!
Great work! Im trying to do this myself on my 318. Did you use the stock ecu/harness?
Stock engine harness from the 328, plug and play. EWS needs to be flashed from the ecu though, and a couple of wires spliced together in the car.
@@mariusrisan which wires
@@mariusrisan which wires needs to be spliced?
Awesome man
How did you wire this was it just plug a. Play?
That's dope
What did you do about fuel pressure regulator
i did not have access to the frame mounted one the 2.8 used, so its absent on my ti all together.. is there another solution other than hunting that assembly down to order one
how does it feel
Feels absolutely awesome! Gonna fit S52 cams and M50 intake this winter for some extra power, should pretty much complete the build perfectly👍🏻
I'm going to swap e46 318ci to m54b20 will I need different gearbox or can keep mine it's manual
you can keep the same gearbox, but you gonna need a different front part of a drive shaft and a gearbox's shifter from 6 cylinder and a gear box mount from 6 cylinder engine
Nice build 🙂
About driveshaft + ZF gearbox, you just installed 328i driveshaft without any modification ?
Thanks in advance 👍
Had same question
@@575gtcFerrari I confirm it's pnp, installed on my car last week 👍
@@MaximumB00ST did you steal the fuel pressure regulator assembly from the 2.8? or is there a solution without using the body mounted assembly that sits just past the fuel filter?
@@575gtcFerrari I installed m54 fuel pressure filter/regulator, I can send you photos if you want
@@MaximumB00ST if that's not an inconvenience I'd appreciate that
weight after swap ?
1240kg with full tank, earlier it was 1215 with the M42.
Hi engine 39 528i 1997 same engine E36 2.8
M42b28 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did you use the 318ti ecu?
