So ladies and gentlemen, it’s been a fun and crazy 2 years building this car. The original purpose was to learn to drift in something cheap and capable. I was drifting in my 328i msport but this car was too nice and I kept crashing it as I was learning. So we got a BMW E36 compact for super cheap and swapped an m52 2.8 into it. (The m52b28 from my 328). After a LOT of mods, including roll cage, lock kit, bucket seats, coilovers, welded diff... we finally needed to fit the last piece of the puzzle. A HYRDAULIC HANDBRAKE! So that’s what today’s about, with the help of eBay UK... lets finish this car off. This car, being my E36 BMW 1997 316 compact engine swapped little ripper (oi search algorithm, listen to all my keywords cheers)

@@Retrobeemer would have been an amazing end product but with the spiders and amount of effort and energy it would have required I think the focus on the compact was the right choice IMO

Where can you get them duel calliper mounting brackets? Bought some weld in ones but they look much nicer!
Did you have to delete the factory handbrake? Im about to do dual calliper on mine with the same brackets and im sure i read online i had to remove the handrake system
