So, for a while, Tana thought that messaging minors was a bad thing. However, with time and exposure to the person who sent those messages she no longer looks down on it like all normal people do? I never cared for Tana, but I was under the mistaken impression that she was genuine in her distaste for James. Not just jumping on the hate train while it was a hot topic.
I totally agree. The fact that she is able to “reconnect” with someone who did what they did (and by all indications still does) shows she never condoned his absolutely prison-worthy behaviour. She was just on the hate train. That’s abhorrent. I don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth anymore and she clearly has zero morals or ethics or integrity.
She started hating on James ever since he called her out for her poor treatment of her fans at Tanacon. She couldnt care less of what he does or did to anyone else.
I don't think the James situation can really be compared to your friend being friends with someone you just don't get along with. Literally James is a predator and if I were Tana I would be cutting off anyone that remains his friend, as much as you can't expect your friends do hold all of your beliefs when it comes to a moral conflict like that I don't believe in compromise.

Coachella was awesome 10+ years ago. I went in 2006 (I’m so so so old gah) specifically to see Daft Punk and the whole experience was amazing!!! The crowd wasn’t horrible influencers and celebrities and paparazzi. There weren’t 75 levels of VIP-ness like it was Scientology or something (the way it is now) 😂.
Back then it did feel like it was all about the music and my friends and I had an absolutely amazing time. Good memories for life! With how it is now you couldn’t pay me to go which is sad it’s become what it is.

Okay this is totally off topic but I’ve got tears streaming down my face. I am a mama of 3 boys, and all the time we are told as boy moms that as our boys grow, they will drift further from us and our close relationship will be gone. Honestly, I’ve been feeling really heavy and emotional about it recently (and my boys are only 4, 1&1) and when you stopped to text your mama good night i about lost it. Thank you for that little bit of sunshine for me- i totally want them to grow up and be independent and all the wonderful things but i would so crave to be a part of their lives as much as they want me to be 😭❤️❤️
Idk if this helps because I’m a girl, but I distanced myself from my mom in my preteen/teen years. But now, at 24, we are so close. As I became an adult I realized how much she did for me and how much she sacrificed, and I’m so thankful for her and love her with all my heart. Your boys will come back ❤️

Soon to be boy mom here and I feel the same fear future of course but boys do stick around for their moms in a healthy manner. My fiancé is very close to his mother and he lives far from her and it's a healthy relationship. As long as you are in a healthy relationship with your boys I do not see them drifting away from you. It is completely fine to make up with friends you have had a falling out with, but James has shown time and time again that he is just an awful person that has done irredeemable things. Tana can be civil towards him, but she gives no reason why she HAS to post pictures with him and promote him again 😑 . Also another thing that I haven't heard mentioned here yet is. That you can have? 2. Friend groups. You? Can have your presence a friend group and your former? Friend group. Come? However if my former friend group had a track record like James Charles I would also have to question my present friend group as to why they're associated or close. With people that have the reputation that my former friend group does. I just can't see myself being OK hanging out with somebody. This is very reminiscent of Jeffree Star and Davey Vanity. I act cordial with people I don't personally vibe with because at the end of the day just because we're not on the same wavelength doesn't mean they're a bad person. People who I know we literally hate each other I just avoid there's no reason for us to talk to each other and, depending on what they did to me/the situation, if any of my other friends stay friendly with this person then they aren't my friends. At that point I wouldn't be worried about bumping into this person because of our mutual friends because they're all cut off. That's just me personally. This shit right here though is some bullshit. Even if James isn't a predator, he's been shown to be predatory so platforming him like that, after everything she said and after everything that's come out, strikes me as gross and disingenuous. Guilt by association is very much a thing.

I had something similar happen to me. Not because of someone messaging minors and doing bad stuff like that. But talking bad about me while being in the same spot as me and caused major problems. I became to grow and took a break from being around people and social media and working on myself and I feel great. I just think if you don't like someone don't let your "friends" influence you to suck it up just for them. Those aren't friends they don't care about your feelings. Also you can read people who are not good for your well being I had people who I was close to now looking at it now I can't stand their behaviour.

As a victim of sa myself and around many people who have done fucked up things I had to know them and hate them my whole life, not everyone who does sa or is accused of sa gets in trouble and it's not your place to play the villain all the time, some times you just have to be civil and hope that if anything does happen again they get caught, but I do agree especially as a social media or regular celebrity you have to be aware who you're unintentionally supporting by just posting photos with them, kids are stupid and sometimes dont realize how sometimes people can be civil over things even if its serious, she can still be civil with him without supporting him, as well you cant say James hasn't grown a bit, and sometimes it takes a second to grow up and learn from your mistakes, and for what James was accused of it's something that probably was very hard for Tana to come to terms with or try and be civil around him, but it's not worth not enjoying her time with friends or being around friends if shes just causing drama in the circle, sometimes you just have to be civil, again she didnt need to post photos with him, I think she was just trying to prevent people from thinking ahead was trying to be sneaky about it, if she didnt post a photo and it got out she was hanging out around him spillsesh or even you might have made a video curious as to why, so I think her posting the photo and talking about it was to explain herself and clear things up before the media got ahold of it.

One thing I have said many times, is I just want a video that PROVES all the true allegations against James Charles. I don’t know which ones were real and which ones were fake. There isn’t really a good video that explains the situation without saying “maybe this…maybe that….” I just like to know for sure when someone is accused of sexually inappropriate actions. ✌️
James in his apology confirmed that there were sexual messages with minors because ‘he was desperate’. We know that it happened, I don’t think debunking which exact details are true is going to absolve him

It’s also important to remember he had previously been accused of speaking to minors in an inappropriate manner in 2019 and at THAT point said he would verify ages moving forward. So I don’t think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. If I had been accused of engaging inappropriately with minors, I would ensure every person I spoke with in a romantic manner from that point forward was of legal age and do my due diligence to guarantee it.

I agree with Brooke. Time for people to grow up. James is allowed to redeem himself by becoming a better person. @@joshuabird he continues to claim he will do a better job of checking ages and every time these accusations come out, he admits that he did not do his due diligence to ensure their ages and took them at their word. Most people would only allow themselves to be accused of such a scandal once. James has been accused of engaging inappropriately with minors more than once and each time his response is “they lied.” He needs to do a better job of checking ages or take a break from finding prospective partners online until he understands how to ensure this won’t happen again.
