This is probably the best executed apartment tour video I’ve seen! Y’all told us the rent, explained the rooms without telling us about every single little item in every drawer, and had links to stuff in the description. Well done!
Savannah I agree. It bugs me when some say, “and here are my pens I use to write. Here are some forks I have to eat with. And this candle I burn in the evening.” But they don’t show the actual apartment layout. 🙄
Marla Davy I’ve watched a few tours and I found those descriptions sooo unnecessary. I’m interested in layout and decor, I don’t care about someone’s cotton ball holder.
AV Valentine I’ve bought it after watching their NY apartment tour and always recommend it! It’s been so functional and completely agree it’s something I can’t get rid of 😍
I noticed that too! He also does something similar when he giggles while talking about some of her habits. You can tell they genuinely love each other 🙂
Another extremely well done video! We are middle-aged folks with grown kids and we sold our family home and downsized to a condo in the centre of our city (Toronto). Totally worth the move as city living has enhanced our quality of life - we are actually outdoors and walking more in the city than we ever did in the suburbs. What we, however, need more of are ideas to use our smaller interior spaces better. Thank you both so much for the great ideas regarding hiding technical wires and using space wisely.
I literally rewatch this video at least once a month. Every time I need a boost of inspiration to finish decorating my apartment I watch this video and it reminds me that one day I too will have a completed and successfully decorated apartment that's at least half as aesthetically pleasing as this one and I can't wait for that day...so close!!! :-)
You both move around one another in that space like water~ and how she looks at you while you talk is so sweet! That coffee table, the lamps and tables the wardrobe, art, books, the entertainment center oh my...you nailed it~
I love the built in wide mirror in the living room. It created a huge difference in magnifying the space and the mini lights all over were amazing. thanks for sharing.
I love to see other people living comfortably in smallspaces. I live in a 400 sq. ft studio in Seattle and I haven't been able to take the Murphy bed plunge! Mostly because my dog loves to lie on the bed...
A phenomenally well made studio apartment and what is more interesting is how both their individual likes have been well taken care off. Amazing Job. Congratulations.
The light bathing your home is irreplaceable. It can dramatically impact your outlook, if you let it! I was fortunate to have something similar when I was on the corner top floor of an Astoria, Queens apartment. I’ll have to look for your podcast to hear how you guys have adjusted after switching coasts and of course, the long boarding situation.
This was an awesome tour! It's so cool to see how your style has evolved in the move from NYC to Portland. I love the touches of colour that you've added with the couch and the area rug - it really adds a lot of coziness.
Great video! I love how you guys decorated your apartment! My name is Orlanda and I'm 34 and in a wheelchair. I'm preparing for my own apartment pretty soon, preferably a studio apartment, but you guys actually gave me some great ideas! Many blessings 😁
I came to this channel to figure out how to hang my tvs and ended up binge watching most of these guys videos- wow great talent- the London videos were my favorite so far- KEEP POSTING !
It's crazy how you guys make a simple and square space in a beautiful and comfortable place, i really like you guys since the first vlog i saw long time ago when you were living here in NY, keep it up guys and hope we can meet one day when you come back to the big apple NYC.
You two are so good together, even though you don’t agree on making the bed everyday! I must’ve been living under a rock because I never knew there is such a thing as a Sonos speaker WITH A LAMP!! Double duty item that looks great! This apartment is really very, very inviting!
It looks Beautiful and it's so perfect. Your Apartment decor really looks like it could be out of a fancy magazine. Great job Cody + Sarah. Hope you guys are settling in well here!
So well organized, practical, tasteful, so clean and everything flows and comes together. The balcony is the icing on the cake. And, of course, very nice couple.
What an absolutely beautiful home and a very cute couple to boot. The perfect size for two. That coffee table is everything. Nice book collection...The Hate You Give 👍🏾. Also nice artwork.
I could be comfortable in a 450sqft studio apartment by myself but i don't think i could manage sharing it with another person. Glad to see these folks can make it work. Very nice place.
Loved watching every second of this!! I've seen your 300 sqft NYC apt tour as well, and I just want to say that the amount of care and creativity you guys have poured into your living spaces, is really wonderful to watch. I've been furiously planning my own apt layout of the place I'll soon be moving into; it's more space than you guys have (600 sqft) but nevertheless your videos inspire me to be more thoughtful and intentional in working with limited space, so thank you!
I hate small spaces, but your's is the first studio I think I could actually live in (except for the fact that the bathroom is not big enough for a kitty litter pan). The way you designed and decorated your apt is perfect. So well thought out. A place of everything and everything in its place. Congrats on a great job!!!! PS: Are you both really that neat? 😉
This apartment is so cuuute...very cosy and intimate. I love the the space coz I'm very much a small space lover myself. I dream to live in such a space with my bf sometime. You guys are my favourite couple of all time coz you dont get bored of each other's company and the love grows in each blog I view. Thanks Cody&Sarah....love you guys🥰
Very detailed and informative. My NY apartment I’m moving into now looks identical to this one and I was a lil worried about space and being cramped. I love what you guys did with it. I will definitely be getting some of the same stuff like the entertainment center and table.
Awesome ....thanks for sharing. There's a huge difference in 450 square feet vs even 300-350 square feet. Everything is basically "regular" size. Much easier for 2 people to share.
Beautiful living space. Well thought through and designed. Love the natural light and how it hits the walls and furniture. Loved to follow the process in the past weeks. Looking forward to discover your new home town through your videos.
You both did a phenomenal job. I’ve always said i could never live in a studio now later in life, but seeing how thoughtfully planned out your space is- I completely rescind my opinion. I’m definitely going to keep this in mind if I move. Thank you for sharing. Truly well done.
Oh wow guys I started following you because I love your style and it was a funny coincidence that my gf and I are also moving to Portland. We will be doing a lot of work from home, we love books, and boardgames and you're both like the perfect reference couple for both of us. Thank you for your videos, they are super helpful!
Beautiful home I live in a 450 sq ft nyc apt and love it. I didn’t want to take it at first but a friend said it’s just YOU living there so the lightbulb went off like OMG your right💯🙃. Congratulations on your amazing home guys. Less cleaning as well💯
Haha, I just started watching the video and fell in love with your style, and then I realized I watched your other apartment tour a while back and that was perfectly my style too. I love how you both bring spaces together and blend your individual styles
THIS is a REALLY great video and a really great apartment! You’ve completely used up the space without it looking small cluttered whatsoever. I love! It’s pure genius! 👏🏾😌
Looks beautiful, warm, cozy, and inviting.♥️ You both did a lovely job, love the couch, and the dining table! So clever making the coffee table to accommodate your needs! Love everything! Best wishes in your new home!
You guys knocked it out of the park!!! Well thought out!! We are moving into a 400 sq foot Condo and this will be so helpful to get our place organized! Thanks!! 🤗
I'm usually never envious of couples, because there is always tension, but you two are definitely meant to be together. You both radiate positive energy!!!
lovely couple with a lovely, clever, cozy space. Welcome to the west coast. Suggest putting a long horizontal mirror on the hall wall across from bathroom to bounce the light making entrance brighter and larger feeling. Inexpensive at Bi-Mart etc. Also I would change out the rugs. Put the one now under the dining table in the hallway; the one under the couch put under the table demarcating and enlarging that space. It's Colors will flow the space into the couch. Put a larger cream rug (maybe shag) under the couch. On the patio entwine faux ivy throughout the grill fence for privacy, to collect dirt, and to shut out cars/buildings while leaving open sky for your delight.Enjoy
Or they can leave their space how they enjoy it. Just a suggestion.. you can do what you like in your own home. I think what they've done is beautiful and your comment is so rude. If you're such an expert make your own home tour.
TH-cam suggested your NYC apartment video to me (again,I watched it a few months after you posted it). Watching this one and I'm thinking I need that coffee table. It'll go with the mid-century inspired living room I have, and the flexibility to open it up actually works better than the mid century modern glass coffee table we currently have.
Subscribed. Thank you for the pro tip. I’m thinking of building a small scale apartment in our backyard space for my mother. Now I can see that it is possible to make these small spaces very comfortable for 1-2 people.
Thanks for checking out the tour! If you missed it, you can see the entire design process here: th-cam.com/play/PL-L0k9W8vBeyP-uFINQacARNNNnIoTP4R.html
I wonder where did you get the rug in the living room from?
Unbelievable! I love it.
Links to everything in the description.
I'm wondering how your clothes and sheets are smelling when you are frying 2 eggs ? Onions... forget about !
Camelia P I’d imagine they turn on the vent and open the door. Idk though. Never lived in a studio. Smell definitely travels and clings though
This is probably the best executed apartment tour video I’ve seen! Y’all told us the rent, explained the rooms without telling us about every single little item in every drawer, and had links to stuff in the description. Well done!
I agree. Some apartment tour videos get into every little detail, and both of Cody's apartment tours give just the right amount detail.
@@4everyoung24 Ugh YES!!!!😂
My thoughts exactly.
I think about that coffee table a lot.
AV Valentine I’ve bought it after watching their NY apartment tour and always recommend it! It’s been so functional and completely agree it’s something I can’t get rid of 😍
Where do you get the coffee table from? Is there a link?
mysharona9966 where did you get it? I would love one too!
@@rayvenw3769 It's literally the first link in the list they included in the description, right below the video.
I have the same one and I love it.
When you talk, I love how she looks at you with wonder in her eyes. So darn cute.
I agree I noticed that in their new york apartment you can tell he is her person so sweet
I know. They both are cute.
I think so as well.😊
I noticed that too! He also does something similar when he giggles while talking about some of her habits. You can tell they genuinely love each other 🙂
This has the aesthetic of an expensive hotel, but the feel of a cozy house. It's very nice!
So you guys are co-podcasters! No wonder that both of you are so eloquent and complement each other's presentation seamlessly.
i can’t explain this bc i’m grown, but i want you guys to be my parents
Kellen Kennedy 😂😂😂 I get it.
Lol, it feels like I'm watching a Portlandia skit
I know! 😭😭 i love them. Such a brilliant couple
It's the way she looks at him when he talks for me. You can see they are in sync. Lovely❤
Stylish. Simplistic, Minimalistic and Functional. What more could one ask for. 10/10

Such a minimal yet vibrant and beautifully decorated space!

Heartwarming how your style has evolved to embrace your love of nature, art and aesthetic decor ... lovely home for a lovely couple!

Not only is your apartment beautifully styled and organized but it is so CLEAN! Love it and I also loved your NYC apartment.
Hey hope both of you are well.. time flies. your home looks great. another stage of life.
This is the most successful small space organization/living I’ve seen. Bravo!
This was an awesome tour! It's so cool to see how your style has evolved in the move from NYC to Portland. I love the touches of colour that you've added with the couch and the area rug - it really adds a lot of coziness.

This is THE BEST studio apartment I’ve ever seen- just perfect!!!👍🏽👍🏽
Now that is a beautiful home! Classy, uncluttered, useful and actually looks inviting to socialize in. Well done!

It looks Beautiful and it's so perfect. Your Apartment decor really looks like it could be out of a fancy magazine. Great job Cody + Sarah.
Hope you guys are settling in well here!
3:14 putting sofa tables behind the couch is a great touch. I never would have thought of that! Thanks!!!
So well organized, practical, tasteful, so clean and everything flows and comes together. The balcony is the icing on the cake. And, of course, very nice couple.
Besides the perfection of the apartment. I love how when he speaks she looks at him with high admiration.
I’m in AWE!!! You’re home is gorgeous and functional. 💕
I bought the same coffee table and it’s been a game changer!!
you are ever so slowly convincing me of going the murphy bed route... fantastic use of space!
What a super apartment! You have great taste. Love that coffee table!
Just bought the same coffee table this week. It's a perfect size for a tiny townhouse in SF.
Link it man I need that
I dint see the bed idea coming....that's smart. Also the space is soo well utilized and still looks soo neat. I wouldn't add a thing
I miss you guys. Come back to do vlogs!!
Adorable couple. Lovely space. Thanks for sharing.
My boyfriend and I really enjoy your guys’ videos, I hope to see an update of how you’re doing as it’s been a while. Stay safe guys! ✨
This is so incredibly beautiful!! I am absolutely in love. But I would go crazy living, cooking, sleeping AND working in one room

The apartment suits with your personality and you two make it cozy as it definitely seems that you get each other living together!
Top fave studio tour! Beautiful intentional use of space. It looks so much bigger than 450 sq feet, great decorating job 🤩
Beautiful living space. Well thought through and designed. Love the natural light and how it hits the walls and furniture. Loved to follow the process in the past weeks. Looking forward to discover your new home town through your videos.
Great studio! We just bought a condo here in Portland. It's a 1 bedroom ~650sqft and are having fun designing the space!
They seem like they’ve never gotten trouble in high school ❤️
yea they're nerds lol
Lol
Just accidentally ran into your video. Your ideas are super cool and simple. Just exactly what I need. Thank you guys for inspiration.
You both did a phenomenal job. I’ve always said i could never live in a studio now later in life, but seeing how thoughtfully planned out your space is- I completely rescind my opinion. I’m definitely going to keep this in mind if I move. Thank you for sharing. Truly well done.
I love the tables behind the couch!! It doesnt look cluttered at all which is what my first thought would be if someone suggested that to me
So sleek and spacious I really love the patio & the wardrobe
Oh wow guys I started following you because I love your style and it was a funny coincidence that my gf and I are also moving to Portland.
We will be doing a lot of work from home, we love books, and boardgames and you're both like the perfect reference couple for both of us. Thank you for your videos, they are super helpful!
as someone who lives in a 700 sqft I appreciate this.. that table is awesome
I've watched a lot of apartments tour and this is it! This is the best

Great space. Thank you for doing a lot of the homework for other small home owners. Y'all are great please keep sharing.
Beautiful Home. I love the simplicity. I love how you have everything hidden.
Love the look and style of their apartment! So beautiful and clean
I’m really impressed guys. Absolutely love your place.
A wonderful looking apt with great light, a real winner!
Absolutely phenomenal use of space. I want to move to NYC so badly, and your apartment would be a dream come true in that city.
Very beautiful place. Your choices are lovely and so practical! That coffee table rocks!
I immediately googled ikea speaker lights and digital gallery frames. I want it all! Love this apartment
Looks beautiful, warm, cozy, and inviting.♥️ You both did a lovely job, love the couch, and the dining table! So clever making the coffee table to accommodate your needs! Love everything! Best wishes in your new home!
love the arrangement you made in the apartment
I really love the mirror wardrobe
You guys knocked it out of the park!!! Well thought out!! We are moving into a 400 sq foot Condo and this will be so helpful to get our place organized! Thanks!! 🤗
I liked your NYC space... this is very nice, though. Love the coffee table and murphy bed! Bonus on the washer and dryer, too!
I'm usually never envious of couples, because there is always tension, but you two are definitely meant to be together. You both radiate positive energy!!!
I love your wall unit!
Wow ! Your apartment is absolutely gorgeous !! Love your decor style & love the view !!
I could move right in and not change a thing other than hanging my own artwork. Your apartment is beautiful and very well executed!
Very nice! It's awesome that you have an in unit washer and dryer!
Cute apartment and even cuter couple!!Love the couch!!💙
I am looking to move into an apartment about the same size, so glad to see this tour :D
Absolute goals, both as a couple and flat design. Going to take some of these tricks into my new studio in Hong Kong
Thanks for sharing, inspiring and nice young couple, all the best to you!

You two are adorable and articulate. What a wonderful place.
Really well done, can see a lot of thought & planning went into this. Congrats.
