my bestfriend just got her first studio apartment and i'm just here to support her in this background and i just wanna say that i love the layout ! i also really like how you listed where you got everything from . very helpful and informative .
It's pretty standard in most apartments (Except in most apartments built before the late 80s). For those that don't provide a washer & Dryer, they may still have hook-ups (but that's still not the majority of apartments.
Love how the furnishings are all scaled perfectly for your space - functional & beautiful studio! Is there a link for the couch? I didn’t catch where it’s from.. thank you :)
I also live in a studio and I’ve been considering swapping my MCM 4-leg dining table with a tulip table like you have in your apt. The single leg in the middle looks super clean and feels less cluttered IMO. Your space is very cute!
Thanks for keeping it real. Those of us with studio budgets have to make do with the furniture we ind here and there. The apartment has a nice bathroom, kitchen and windows/view.
You don't have to use those cubbies for wine. For example, I'd keep my coffe flavoring up there. If you don't have any large bottle shelf items, put something pretty up there.
Great to see how you placed your table and sofa by the window. So many people waste the light and view by putting the bed by the window then sit and eat in the dark.
The floor plan and layout of my studio is almost the same. I have been thinking about incorporating the idea of a bookshelf as the divider as well. Will get on to it 😊
Studios apartments cost more in Bay Area (SF)! My son pays $2300 for a 445sq foot studio, or else he’d have to move back home with us and face a 90 minute commute.
Wow. $1700 for basically a hotel room. I'm not gonna go into " you could get this or that where I live ". I'll just say, in certain places 6 figures is broke and I see why. I also see why so many rich people are moving to MS. The rent prices are insane in these places. Especially Cali and New York. I paid cash for a house just to avoid paying any rent at all. These places are screwing people.
Rent is kinda insane everywhere and there’s been a lot inflation across the country in recent years. Companies are screwing people everywhere. Seattle may be expensive, but wages are also higher. Where I’m from, you couldn’t even afford a 1 bedroom working full time minimum wage. In Seattle, you can at least get something. Also there’s decent walkability/public transport, so you don’t need a car. Considering that the average American spends $12k a year on car expenses, not having one saves a lot of money. That’s awesome that you don’t have debt and paid cash for a house, but that’s not really practical for everyone. And there’s no guarantee that your job/family is near places that affordable
Paying this much for a studio is wild. I don't mean this in a mean way just shock because I live on 30acres in a house that is 2200sqft and my mortgage is less than that. But everyone has different desires so you do you girl 😊
🙄 good for you and I’m sure that’s also located in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Anywhere on the coast is always more expensive… especially desirable cities.
@@jcash3535 it's not in the middle of nowhere but thanks for assuming. Also I'm allowed to express my shock in the cool ways we are all so different. I even said that at the end if you read the whole comment and said something nice as well. We are all different just because I'm shocked by the stark difference between her life and mine doesn't automatically mean I'm hating, on the contrary, I'm amazed at how different we all are. Please stop spreading hate and being so nasty with how yiu express your opinions
@@Mercedesbenzz8 please, spare us the gas lighting. Pretending to be “shocked” that prices vary significantly around the country in desirable, coastal locations versus flyover states in 2024 is ridiculous. There’s nothing new about this. And your passive aggressive “you do you” after your obvious attempt at humble bragging is not you being “nice”. you watched a video of a young professional woman living a successful life in a city and you couldn’t stop yourself from writing about YOURSELF and your middle of nowhere mortgage- even though there was no mention of mortgages or anything in this video- in an attempt to make this woman feel a certain way. All it does is show your own insecurity and inadequacies and jealousy….but, ya know…YOU DO YOU.
Jeez; I’m in MD, for that price you could rent a 3 bedroom townhome in a decent area. Here I am complaining about paying 12-1300 for a 2 bedroom apartment 😂
Square footage isn’t the only value of a home. Being in a city, there are a lot of cool things to do for free/cheap within walking/busing distance. Seattle is cool because there’s so many parks, museums, and live music venues. The weather is great and there’s a lot of outdoorsy activities. Cities tend to be more accepting of people who are minorities or don’t live “traditional” lifestyles. I can easily use the bus if my car is in the shop and my partner doesn’t have a car at all. I understand it’s not for everyone, but it offers a lot of benefits to a lot of people
Lose the hand held 🎤....looks like an affectation. Not an actusl kitchen. just a counter along one wall, wich makes the whole room just one BIG Kitchen.... A floor to ceiling beaded curtain would help to obscure it from view a bit. That window-wall is fabulous....I would definitely build a long window-seat with storage then put a bistro table in front of it with a couple of chairs next to the kitchen counter. A desk on the diagonal in the opposite corner with a potted palm next to it would be my office area. A Murphy Bed is a GIVEN in that space. Finally a couch facing the window to enjoy the view.

thank you for watching! 😊
Those huge windows and view are the selling point.
totally agreed!! 🤗
having lived in Seattle since 1979 and living on Capitol Hill I amazed you got that place for only $1700! I would have thought it would be pricier.
yes! i hopped on this apartment quickly after finding out the price 😊
West Seattleite here, was thinking the same thing. $1,700 for a modern studio in the city? A smokin deal 🤜🏼 you did a great job decorating
Especially with the w/d. For coastal prices, $1700 with W/D is very good!
Good Lu know your new home. This video has been so helpful!
I am not familiar with Seattle apartments but having a washer/ dryer in unit is such a convenience 😊
agreed!!!
Bare minimum considering the laundry prices in most cities

Great place! You made a studio seem so much larger with your choice of layouts and furniture.
thank you!!
I also love listening to music in the shower, too. It lifts my spirits!🌻
Such a beautiful space! Loved how you furnished it!
thank you!! 😊
Honestly this sounds like a steal. It’s gorgeous.
Beautifully decorated and such a sunny peaceful space!
thank you so much for watching!!
I love listen to your TH-cam. Your speaking is clear and I learned so much from it

the futon is from amazon! i don’t think they sell it anymore but there’s a lot of similar ones on amazon/wayfair 😊
watching from UK! i love how you curated your space 🩷
thank you so much for tuning in!! 🤗
wow what a nice studio! as a NYC apartment searcher, this is mind blowing value.
Oh, to have a washer/dryer in my 450' 1 bedroom apartment! Your studio is small yet seems comfy and everything is well placed.
I also live in a studio and I’ve been considering swapping my MCM 4-leg dining table with a tulip table like you have in your apt. The single leg in the middle looks super clean and feels less cluttered IMO. Your space is very cute!

yes the bookshelf is definitely a great hack! good luck on decorating your space : )
I would recommend u a murphy bed cuz it saves a lot of space and u don’t always have to make it look nice, make ur bedsheets and stuff like that
What is the actual size of the main room (if you remember)?
Couldn't remember: was heat/water included?
Nice. Thanks for sharing your space.
thank you for watching!
You shld stack the shoe storage to save space and get a small desk instead of the table.
that's a cozy well organized studio apt.
I would put something decorative in those wine bottle holes. Love the apartment.
thank you for watching!
Lovely space and the great thing is you dont share washing machine... good space use. PS: if you like coffee, try indian ones too.
Where did you buy the wardrobe? I love it 😢
i got all my cabinets from fb marketplace!
We in nyc would consider this to be a spacious studio at a very reasonable price....😊
truly!! rent prices are all relative 🤣
nice bright and cheery space-good luck on move

i’m moving!! will be posting videos on where i move next 🤗
@@heyytheresmile can you give a feedback on the apartment in general. I’m looking to move in here

That’s a nice apartment, though it seems fairly pricey in my experience. I look forward to seeing what kind of place you’re moving to.

Wow ,i like this apartment
Man I love Seattle
1853… 456sqft in LA
$1700 for a studio... Is probably a good sign that we aren't winning the housing crisis.
you should look at Toronto prices for a studio. $1700 is a steal 😅
You could have even more space with a loft bed
Nice space!
you have a nice apartment
thank you for watching! 😊
Bonne chance !. 🙏🤞 !.
good video my gf loved it :)
thank you both for watching! 😊
Aww it looks like the layout of the apartment was very bad. But at least the view is decent
Got to get you a bottle of wine, lol. Nice place 🙂
regretting not getting a bottle when i lived there 🤣 but thank you for watching!

How can a young girl afford such a rent amount ? Incredible. Besides no value for such a huge amount of money …
I guess that man at 2'04'' paid everything .....
I pay half that and my space is gorgeous in a not-target-curated way
I’m curious. Do you live in a major city?
@ yes I live in Seattle, in the greenlake neighborhood
@@samarellano455 Are you renting a room for that price? Or have you owned the house for 25 years?
