That mod is one of the best mod values for the C-8 no matter which model you have for power and torque! I have watched all of Vette Syndicate’s installs for this intake. I can’t wait to get my C-8 and do the same install. Good job guys!
Paragon just keeps on hitting it out of the park most CAI make horsepower claims of around 15 to 20 hp gains but a 50 hp boost is definitely worth the money plus it looks fantastic. ZO6 just looks amazing Justin.
Thanks for being honest about the installation not being as easy as it seems. DIY for sure with a few difficult bolts and hard to get to areas. I Hope to install it on my Z in July went the backorders are filled. Great video as usual.
It overall isn't bad but those rear bolts take a little bit of finagling that's for sure! The Paragon video does a good job of showing the install, though.
HPO, Great vid. Your enthusiasum is infectious. Hey, How much of a pain is it to change the air filters? Are they Paragon only products? Any more heat in the trunk compartment? Thanks
Thank you! I'm just a car guy at heart so it's impossible to not get excited about this stuff! Changing the filters shouldn't be too hard but we'll find out soon!
That just took the car to 🔝 of the 🔝 notch..The question is does the engine compartment light illuminate the air intake..If not it needs one..The 💎 jewelry box 👀👀👀👀..so sick..
Hey man I saw one of you're cars at the David L Lawrence Convention center today when i was with my school for the pgh auto show. Pretty badass man keep up the great work
I wanted this when they first came out but they were working on a work around for the Lingenfelter pTR intake which the promise of notification never came. Yes I’m irritated about that, especially since I had Graham Rahal’s GRP shop waiting and eager to do the install. I’ve also asked, is this really an ‘intake or an airbox? I’ve asked and no one has answered so maybe you’ll jump on it.
@@HorsePowerObsessed my thoughts exactly. The motor intake is actually over the top of the motor and my thought process is Eventuri is an airbox replacing the OE airbox providing better flow. I like it and wanted one but the shaft by Paragon when I tried to assist with the pTR intake by Lingenfelter giving them my seat time impressions being one of the first to have and them not working with me when the coupling became available left a bad taste in my mouth. Guess I needed a TH-cam channel to get some love. Thanks for the response Justin!
I think if you had engine issues and they seen it on there......bad news for you. In my experience, if you want no hassle warranty, don't give the dealer or the manufacturer any outs.....keep it stock or be prepared for the worst. If It's not in writing and not specific to C8 Z06 then you could be in trouble don't assume anything.
It definitely is beautiful. I know this is not a concern for most. How much space do you lose in the trunk? Could you still fit the corvette travel bags in there? Also can you still put the roof in the trunk without scratching the intake cover? And finally, how much horsepower gain would you get on a C8 Stingray? Thanks for the video. Nicely done!
It's not 46HP peak, it's 42HP and it's for a brief portion of the mid-range. Peak HP gain is only 17HP. Not saying it isn't worthwhile, but the claim of 40+HP gain is misleading.
I didn't say anything about peak or not peak. I just said 46hp. It does pick that up whether it's peak or not. I put the info in the description so you guys can always see it for yourselves.
Excellent presentation! My Z06 has a TPW 3/12/24 (second delay) Before the car is produced I bought the Eventuri to install after break-in Now the competition begins with JLT flow testing their system against Eventuri. I have purchased the March production run of Eventuri. Not happy about cutting the carpet but the intake appearance will be awesome. JLT claims more impressive improvement with no customizing carpet. documented Flow rate increase: JLT 21.9%; Eventuri 12.2% Significantly less cost at under $700. Should I wait for real dyno comparisons before I sell the Eventuri (unopend) and buy tghe JLT. You write excellent reviews...This comparison is what we need!
I do think that more and more air flow eventually becomes useless to the car. Not saying the JLT may not make more power but it definitely won't be much more. There is diminishing returns. I think the look and the weight savings of the eventuri alone is worth it!
Almost ZERO difference 60-130 compared to stock on my 2024 z06. Did 10 runs. Average is about same as stock. Looks cool though and sounds good. I guess my question is this. BTW there is no way in hell there is 46hp difference!! If it was don't you think my 60-130 time would increase? Best 1/4 mile speed stock was 132.2 mph. Best with paragon intake was 132.6. Best stock 60-130 was 7.44. Best with paragon was 7.41. Testing with paragon was 7 degrees colder. DA WAS 641FT stock airbox and DA with paragon was 414ft. For looks and sound it's worth the upgrade, if you are only looking for power not much change. Power is also smoother through powerband stock airbox.
This looks awesome!!! And the horsepower increase great. I’m curious, does it make your trunk any hotter? I’ve seen some vids of guys insulating the panel. I’d do this upgrade regardless. The looks and performance increase are too attractive. I’ll find somewhere else to put the ice cream lol
Question on your parking pads in garage. Do you have any trouble driving over the pads coming and going since one end is sorta a stop end that stick up. Looking to buy a set from Amazon and curious if they move around so you’d have to continually reset them in place. Thanks I enjoy watching your videos.
Jlt a 1/4 of the cost and same dyno results. So if you want the look and want to cut a hole in your carpet, by all means, do you. The eventuri is awesome, but there are equal options for lot less and you dont have to ruin your oem carpet.
@ParagonPerformance I'm asking because I have a Z06 HTC, and I'd like to get this intake. Just wondering if there's any extra steps involved because of the limited access compared to the coupe
@@HorsePowerObsessed Problem I have is you can't even see it. Going down the road it doesn't stick out that much. You can't see the lines. That Yellow ZR1 going around TH-cam is the one to get. 👍

It most certainly is a different car with that intake, and there is no mod that cheap that gives so much in the entire super car world

at $3000 i would consider it a just average mod value
We appreciate it! We're always looking for the next best thing!
Peak Performance Gain : 19whp, 18ft-lb
Mid-Range Performance Gain : 42whp, 44ft-lb
So in essence about 19hp peak difference.
Exactly. Freaking nuts for an intake! 😮
The Eventuri intake definitely gives the best of both worlds.

Sexiness
Well Done!

Great video…glad you are happy with the mod! I just ordered mine and it will be in the next production cycle for my new Z06!

Probably more so an airbox. The car already gets pretty cold air from the outside so this is more an airbox with fixed airflow over stock.

Hey Justin Joe here, that does look really good, are there any warranty implications?
GM has gone on record before and talked about cat back exhaust and air intakes not avoiding warranty. This fits right into that.

The OEM carpet is under $100 if you ever want to revert the changes.
I will add the quality of the part is amazing.
Yes sir Paragon ftw!
100%!
Also wanted to add that I drove car around 2 days before I did testing with the paragon so the car could learn any new fueling needed
Sorry for the stupid question, but doesn't that remove the stock air filter as well? Where is/are the air filters with this intake?
Does this mod affect your warranty?
I don't see why it would. Air intakes and cat back exhausts are usually "safe" mods as far as manufacturers are concerned.
@@HorsePowerObsessed ahhh it makes sense
Can the intake be placed on a HTC Eray?
How much harder is the install on the HTC Z06? Or is there even an intake for it?
Very similar install, practically identical.
@@ParagonPerformanceyour website very clearly says that this is for a Z06 COUPE only. if it works fine on HTC why doesn’t it say that in the website

@@ParagonPerformance Thanks. That's all I really needed to know
That’s astonishing it would help gain 46Hp on a C8Z
Right?! Nuts.
What car cover is that bud?
The OEM C8 Corvette cover.
Is there any downside to installing a cold air intake, other than cost
None that I have found so far.
Does it void warranty
Does that keep the targa roof from snapping into the upper brackets ?
No it doesn’t. The roof still fits!

👍👍
Plz get a corsa exhaust sounds insane with it
I prefer the AWE exhaust sound, personally.
What is the cost?
Do you need to get it tune to gain the extra hp
No.
Can the top still fit in the trunk
Yes it sure can!
Really don’t know til you put it on a Dyno, before and after
Paragon performance already did.
I don't know why, but black only looks good a certain cars, a Corvette isn't one of them. Yellow is the color for a Vette. 👍
