The amp model number for 2007, Camry XLE, V6, is 86280-OW390. Although, this model has been replaced by a newer one: 86280-OW391

Can’t you just open the glove compartment and pull the shelf down and out of the way with your hands?

Hi. I have a 2016 Camry. Is it in the same location? I have the premium sound system but don't really think it is very good. I would like to get a better amp and better speakers, but no silly subwoofers. I'm fine with just a quality set of four. Hope to hear back from you.

My car is an 08 SLE convertible. the glove box on these basically kind of pops out with only one screw. I see the amp behind the glovebox area right next to the engine management computer. So I need to know if the procedure beyond removing the glovebox is the same as above, since the area looks different than this video. actually all I need to know is the amp model number so I can source a replacement. I hate to tear my whole dash apart just to get a number and then put it back together so I can drive while I wait for a replacement. anybody know the numbers?

Dear Factory Car Stereo Repair , thanks for the "video" ( by the way why only pictures and no real footage?) but in my case not very helpfull (sorry for that), why do you make a video about removing a factory amplifier and not showing how to place and connect a whole other (new) amplifier like a Rockford-Fosgate T 800-4 AD? I have a Toyota Camry hybrid 2010 also with a JBL sound system, but the radio has become extreme obsolete so I tried to replace the stock radio for a Pioneer 2020 head unit android radio and I bought a cable (what I thought was the correct cable) to connect the Pioneer head unit. But after connecting it the head unit had no sound, only power. Seems like I need a canbus decoder special cable and power cord to connect the Pioneer head unit. I can't find these cables anywhere so I now want to remove the stock (pre wired) JBL amplifier (located under the passengers seat) and replace it for a Rockford Fosgate amplifier. I guess that I have to run all the speaker wires again from the speakers to the head unit and the new amplifier? It really is a mayor pain in the ass this pre wired amplifier system from JBL. Please do you have any tips or suggestions?

unfortunately my car did not have the JBL so it did not i had to "fix" it by just hooking my speakers to the head unit and then just using a sub amp. not the way i wanted to do it but it at least doesnt buzz anymore
