    Great video. Do you run all your electronics (motor, fish finder, lights) from your 100AH battery, and have you ever run out of juice?

    Hello, I have the same Autopilot 120, I found the motor is not power enough for strong wind. I'm using 12V100Amh Lithuim battery. Do you have the power issue ?

    • @BlueSummitOutdoors
      @BlueSummitOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No issues for me just have to know the limits of the kayak and be safe. If you are looking for more power Torqeedo seems to be a more powerful motor.

    Do you get interference on the fish finder from the motor. Thinking of getting the sportsman 120 ap and this is a concern and I've seen this complaint. Thanks.

      Only when they are both connected to the same battery at least that's my experience with it.

      Not terrible just takes a few weeks to get it back in the mail unless you do it in person.

    • @BlueSummitOutdoors
      @BlueSummitOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It all depends on what state you are, in they are all different. Here in VA it was about $40 to register and $100 a year in taxes, but that also depends on the state/county you live in.

    • @BlueSummitOutdoors
      @BlueSummitOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think I do but the Boonedox is definitely the best option as far as carts go. It’s still heavy but way easier to use than other carts.

    Liked the setup. I hang a hydration pack on my seat for taking water swigs.The cart setup looks great, i might try that in the future. I have the FPV system for controlling all the electrical and that is run from 17AH battery. The main batteries are a pair of FPV 12v 50ahr that are strictly used for the motor. i used ocean scupper valves, they work great.

    Thank you very much for the informative video. Very detailed. I just purchased the auto pilot 120 and it’s being delivered next week. I was fortunate to find one as they go quick. My question is, is it hard running the wires through the kayak for your lights and fishfinder? It looks like there’s limited access and it would be a real pain to snake the wires through. Do you have a video on doing that?

    What brand thru-hull wiring cap did you replace the factory one with for your fish finder. Other than expanding the main hole did you have to drill new holes to screw in the new cap

    Beautiful vessel. I saved and saved, because I'm not upgrading. Wanted a kayak, that has everything for covering water, stability, hands free, and with all the $$ I've spent, not going to lose money, for a whole new setup. Been on the bank all my life. Have allot of my own mods, and addons, as we all do.on Now I can go to lakes in 3 states around me, camp trip with friend's, etc. I did just recieve my last biggest toy. My Bixpy J2 motor. Whatever yak I bought was getting that bixpy anyway. But for the extra battery, knowing, I'll always get home. I'll use my bixpy on 3/4 speed, from spot to spot, and then use my Minn-kota. I think it's the best kayak period. I know there's no perfect kayak, but this boat is pretty close..Be safe bro.🎣🤟😁🙏

      Curious to know whether the front end is heavy when pulling with boonedox located that far aft. Looking to add to my 120 but was thinking closer to CG although the location you've mounted yours appears to provide more backing area without sacrificing rod holders.
