I have a sub 12. .177 Prophet. It's Lightweight, extremely accurate and very well made. When I chronoed mine, I got 4fps total spread across two magazines. The trigger is awesome, straight out of the box(unlike my Ghost). Just like the priest, the prophet is very easy to work on. For me, the only annoying thing is that the magazine placement is exactly where my cheek weld is. I am therefore fabricating a curved cheekpiece to fit. Also mine isn't keen on JSBs or QYS. It likes Barracudas. Its a difficult choice between it and my Impact.
for size and power it can't be beat.
Probably going to pick one up this year. 2023
For a rifle in this category, it's quite neat and tidy, and i like it's lines. Sometimes tools like this look like some crazy inventor has emerged from their shed, and there is hardware in odd places, disjoointed lines where bottles meet the body, etc. This looks pretty slick and no nonsense.

Thanks for another interesting review Andy and that Prophet 2 Compact is certainly something else.
I’ve not handled one of these skeletal types of rifle and maybe I should give one a try before making a judgement. One thing I do question is the lack of a comfy cheek piece, on a cold day that metal doesn’t seem an appealing proposition.
One thing is obvious from watching your posts and that is the amazing choice us shooters have these days, there’s something for everyone and every pocket.

That's a cool little rifle and although it's a little bit on the "ugly" side, that single hole in the target at that distance sure adds a whole lot of beauty to that little beast!!

Feeling a bit better now. We had a small epidemic of nausea/vomiting and diarrhea that started last weekend and lasted for many days. All caught from daycare last week of course.. So been spending much time at home lately. But better now again. How you been?

@@simonnoble7589 Been good once again (health-wise good - but I'm now a bit depressed because my beloved Sig Virtus broke yesterday morning..😞😞😞). -5c yesterday, but apparently it is gonna drop to -15 or so quite soon. Will see. Not a fan of em massive colds - but hopefully it would not snow anymore. Came down 20-30cm of snow last weekend..🙄
Hi Andy, have loved the RTI products right from when they released the priest, in my opinion they've gone from strength to strength since then, their rifles are really well engineered and are competitively priced, but they really need to be in the higher power guise to get the most out of the rifle, great review mate ATB Dave
The trouble with the FAC version is the price , I would rather pay less money for a rimfire that would be more capable and certainly would not plummet in price when it comes to selling it on
You could buy 3 Walther G 22 , for that price.

With the rexime ixia MK2 compact gaining positive momentum spending twice the amount that the ixia costs on a rifle that's very similar is a hard one , if the rexime proves to be reliable I think it will take a massive chunk of the market , brk ghost ,fx impact / maverick ,RTI priest , daystate alpha Wolf etc etc are all of a similar type , I'm watching the ixia MK2 compact closely , I think that reximex could be a game changer .

Looks great, but for a compact hunting type air rifle, you cant beat the classic Leshiy
I saw a P2 .177 FAC pushing a 20gr slug at 1030. It is close to 65j or about 48fpe
Sharing ... people will have to hunt for their food very soon, and the Air-Gun / Riffle will be the safest and quietest for them to have?
Morning all, I wonder how many fac air rifles are actually sold in the U.K. I’m guessing it’s quite a small number. Comparing this to the BSA CLX AAR special you showed us it’s seems that this is either rather expensive or the BSA was tremendous value coming in £500 cheaper with scope and silencer. The BSA is also to my eyes a far nicer looking gun. But whatever floats your boat I guess.
Not a patch on last week's gun . I bet last week's gun could get same score card at same distance . Just saying

Bought the mk1 after seeing it reviewed on this channel ... its FANTASTIC ... my son machined a bag rider out of billet aluminum , lots better then the plastic RTI effort , and cheaper ..

I’ve just had a vixen 177 carbine nice gun pellet on pellet at 30 yards .
With fac .22 rimfire or any other fac gun I'm sure you have to add the silencer to your fac .I've just helped my farmer friend fill out his renewal form with .22 and .17hmr and they both had silencer listed on the form .I assume this is the case with a airgun as well.anyone know if this is the same?
You only need to add a silencer/moderator to your ticket if its proof tested and stamped by one of the proof houses, London or Birmingham. Proof testing is required for powder burner rated silencers/moderators. You dont need an FAC to buy an unproofed silencer/moderator.

I had a priest. Sold it because of very,very loud air blow back by were u load in pellets and ur head/ear is right next to that (the breach). I was never sure?? when it was going to happen and I was a constantly worried .I sold it because I did not want to go deaf!!! .I believe its caused by u loading in the pellets right every time and that gets old fast.Also A must is a portable air compressor as ur bottle is never at 300 .I get u dont fill to 300 maybe 280.

I can't quite understand why anyone would need a compact Bullpup in FAC?
Legal (12ft/lb) will deal with any airgun quarry out to 50 metres if you are good enough.
My FX Wildcat will do the same job and I don't need to pressurise it to anything approaching 300 bar.
In the UK, FAC Air Rifles do have a (very limited) useful place, but most airgun shooters will not be able, inclined or feel the need to jump through the stupid hoops necessary to obtain an FAC..
Too much of a niche market Andy.
The number of UK sales will tell the story I'm sure.

Did you say shot count is 10 shots per fill? That means more filling than shooting in my mind. Perhaps the accuracy is there, but not worth it to me with such a low shot count.
