Its not difficult, at this point they should just start from zero for damage control.

i work at ubi let me just tell u the truth the engines we use to create games have become literal bloat-ware, where u need a fucking 10 year PHD degree just to be able to do a simple thing the ppl that created these engines have all left, and our engine pipeline teams are unable to fix issues at the "root" bceause who knows what will break so it's just layers and layers of Band-Aids upon Band-Aids it's gotten to the point that nobody knows how to make a system in the engine work with another system, so every feature is hacked together, and 100% will cause bugs in the final game and to fix anything we have to create more hacks to band-aid shit together, which will ofcourse, break even more things, and on it goes this is not something we set out to do, but this is the same story as all software companies, past, present, and future, that all softwares will eventually will become so bloated from feature creep that it becomes un-usable end of story

It is hilarious to me that Jedi Survivor got cracked a few days after this came out. As if it wasn’t bad enough that a somewhat decent Star Wars game was now free, but it’s now taking attention from a game most people wouldn’t even pirate.
Atleast in Half Life 2 the devs decided to add turrets that will shoot you if you stand in front of a dropship as it unloads Combine on you. While they did accidently broke it in future updates and later fixed it in recent updates (actually not sure yet), atleast they decided to make the Combine invulnerable until they actually land on the ground.
I can't believe ubisoft gave green flag for those bare fist takedown animations. I don't know if their qa is so bad, or they just want her to be a strong independent women

Thanks for this take. My post is probably for Star Wars fans who are wondering if this game is for them despite the trolling of Ubisoft and the game in general. As a 50 something I grew up with the original films and here is my take. In my opinion this game has a lot to offer for Star Wars fans. I have played over 40 hours now and will take my time and play it to its conclusion. Whilst all the criticism is valid to varying degrees, I have had great fun despite all of the flaws. I have looked for the positives which I think are the graphics (other than the main character model and poor lighting in some areas), the exploration and secret areas, the authentic physical environmental design of exterior and interior locations . The sound/music is excellent. Many of the side quests and activities are interesting and most of the new characters and lore surrounding them is well presented. Well known characters, creatures and vehicles are lovingly recreated No SW game that I can remember includes so many of the different races. I can respect a review score anywhere within 5 to 8 out of 10 and I respect that some people will only play a few hours and decide its not for them. There are much better games to play and if Ubisoft's dishonest marketing and the very unpolished stealth, combat and NPC AI is going to bother you that much maybe don't play. The truth is though that this is the most ambitious attempt at a Star Wars game in modern times and there is only this and the recent Jedi games that give you that feeling of running around in the Star Wars. I am pleased I have ignored the online trolling and enjoyed the game for what it is.
