I've seen a good couple of reviews and from what i gather, the game is 3 or 4 big changes away from being just okay. But people should stop giving devs a pass when they push out trash

It’s so hilarious how they were overcharging the shit out of this game expecting it to pay off, only for sales to be abysmal and already discounting it. It’s just hilarious to see Ubisoft shooting themselves in the foot
To be fair, the story got quite good at the end. It's just that getting to that point was such a slog that I think few people ever managed to get to that point. By the time I reached the bit where the story got good, I was so drenched in deep depression that I was more frustrated that the rest of the game wasn't like this than happy that things were getting good.
The strongest and coolest weapon is ones mind. I know.. cliche.. but its true. Rocket launchers are cool, but well executed double cross is much cooler. The thing is... considering how well grenades are implemented in this game, there is no way they'd pull of a coherent story with double crosses that make sense.
okay this needs to be said : the arguments steming from just mechanics in the game wont ,dont ,never have and never will help anything . WHY? because its not that they dont know how to do it its that they put no effort in doing it because they spent their time on the message they wanted to push. the mechanics are low on the list to them they just ignore you ... if you want to get them to give a shit about the mechanics you need to tell them to cut out the messaging 1st so they arent spending all effort on that ( 1 step at a time. stop thinking an aspect of a game is seperate... its not. its like a limb is to a body. )

I want to share that the write for Kay admitted that she was writing for a MAN instead of the Kay Solo, and whats funny was that Disney/Ubisoft (one of them i think) got the full rights to Han Solo character so we got a movie and this game was SUPPOSE to be one, but instead we got Kay, the musculine features was done to avoid "the male gazes", heck the lizzies won't find her attractive at all of how much of a man she looked,
@@WatcherOnTH-cam So it was decided to make Kay a woman halfway in production by the execs? I mean, I guess making your lead look like a twink is one way to not have to redesign all your concept art and avoid crunch. I don't blame the creative team in that case, crunch is a hellish thing.
@@NorthEevee that or the consultants. my money is on the consultants but the writer herself was with them or atleast implies shes with them in ideals, I only knew this through another youtube podcast called Side Scrollers, check them out for the full article I think its from that park place
@@WatcherOnTH-camYet The Male characters ain't feminized in order to avoid female gazes. Hypocritical much?
The transitions with you swearing and cutting them off before ending the swear word are insane😂🔥
Dude, you have one of the best takes on why this failed out of anybody. You deserve to be WAY bigger on TH-cam them you are. Good Job.
"The Mike Tyson of Star Wars Universe" LOLOLOL
Great video, thoroughly enjoyed it.
lol I'm glad I found this channel nobody puts effort into videos anymore. well done got a new sub.
Damn, I didn't know you were so cool, you like Hitman AND Star Wars, best TH-camr!
Your accent is just gold for this type of content, where are you from ?
Playing as a normal person in the Star Wars universe sounds fun as a survival game
Great analysis, great jokes, great accent. This is gold. Subscribed.
Nice Vid! Enjoyed it ❤
The helmet punching is prolly what killed it for me. How dumb, dumb, this game can be.
We're getting rich in Wildgold.
The first thing that caught my eyes is the spaceship Trailblazer which is piloted by Kay Vess. Can see that ubisoft is lack of effort in designing the ship which look like just a flying block of crap. Everything in the design is ,you can see the designers are not putting in effort, like the firearms, the clothing etc.... It does not look like it is worth 10usd for the game.
The ship is fine
Outlaws is the video game equivalent to The Acolyte television show. Almost every single item, when examined, is incorrect.
I discovered this video thanks to Slapp Gaming.
Great work
Isnt it a satisfying feeling, when your intuition proves true once again.. even tho society tells you how wrong you are constantly?
U should always keep an open mind, but be able to stick to ur own ideas when you know youre right about something.
I wouldn't even pirate this crap
great video. Im now your newest sub
I had heard nothing of this game until I saw a trailer in my feed. I was like 'Ooh? An open World Star Wars game? Maybe some moral choice and storyline variance based on your choices? Sign me up.'
Halfway through the trailer I was out
This game should have followed Han up to the events of Ep.4. We could've been there when he made the decision to dump Jabba's cargo, we could've seen an unhealthy relationship between he and Boba flourish, and most of all we could've been flying the Falcon!
Jedi Fallen Order did a better job at making the main character likable and gave you the ability to customize your lightsaber.
Amazing video. That good you got my sub. 👏👏👏👏
Said it once, I'll say it again... best game reviewer on TH-cam these days. Perhaps a Sleeping Dogs review one day? I think a good game will wash the taste of corporate laziness and greed out of your mouth Mr. Gold.
16:30 i think there is no customization for the protagonist due to pre-rendered cutscenes?
Vibro blade or stun baton would have been a easy melee options for lethal and non lethal
i liked the game gets way to much hate
It's fine to like a game, even if its bad. We all have our vices. Most issues reported on the game seem fair. the AI is terrible, the combat hilarious, and a little girl 1 - 2 punching an armored guard into a coma is just not happening.
I've seen a good couple of reviews and from what i gather, the game is 3 or 4 big changes away from being just okay. But people should stop giving devs a pass when they push out trash
😂😂😂
Did they paid you to say this?
Well, your grammar and spelling make it clear that you're low-IQ and poorly educated, so it makes sense that you'd like Ubisoft slop. Slurp it up, idiot boy. Slurp it up.
How much did they pay you to write this?
It’s so hilarious how they were overcharging the shit out of this game expecting it to pay off, only for sales to be abysmal and already discounting it. It’s just hilarious to see Ubisoft shooting themselves in the foot
Good homage toCarlin with endings of each segment
Great video 😊
wow 1 thing that they get it right is that this "strong whamen" has little to no ability for spatial navigation by not having a mini map
Most accurate Outlaws review! 🫡🫡
The strongest and coolest weapon is ones mind. I know.. cliche.. but its true. Rocket launchers are cool, but well executed double cross is much cooler. The thing is... considering how well grenades are implemented in this game, there is no way they'd pull of a coherent story with double crosses that make sense.
Jax and Dexter had better outlaw mechanics and that game is a good 18 years old 😫
Whags the background music cslled un the beginning?
we need stats showing how much those old people making good games in the past still in the company.
Good content. Subbed.
okay this needs to be said : the arguments steming from just mechanics in the game wont ,dont ,never have and never will help anything .
WHY?
because its not that they dont know how to do it its that they put no effort in doing it because they spent their time on the message they wanted to push. the mechanics are low on the list to them they just ignore you ...
if you want to get them to give a shit about the mechanics you need to tell them to cut out the messaging 1st so they arent spending all effort on that ( 1 step at a time. stop thinking an aspect of a game is seperate... its not. its like a limb is to a body. )
every time he says thief i keep expecting him to say tiefling 😂 love it, great video would never have found the channel if it wasn't recommended in another video i was watching coz youtube sux...
Me listening to all the cool stuff you said
Ubisoft: NOPE.
If it featured Han Solo and you could actually be a rougue it would have been a hit.
Sorry you had to go through that
50% discount?
Nah, fam, I'll just flush my money down the toilet instead. It'll be more entertaining as it goes down...
🚽💸
Not defending ubisoft in any way but apparently Disney was VERY restrictive on what the main character could do including punching down. It's why you cannot do outlaw things at all
Luv ur cosplays btw
This guys accent makes the (already great) commentary 10x better
Dude imagine the potential of starwars payday game
Even if for some reason they decide to give it as a one day free offer… never gonna choose this one.
Thank you, thank you for your honest opinion. The coping is real
Calling this game garbage is an insult to garbage.
Your telling me that a company who has created a series like AC and a Splinter Cell who revolutionize the genre can't do the same in this Star Wars Game. WTF are you kidding me I just realize that.
I just understand why they always pick the most boring option every time. Developers forgot the first thing from a game, it should be fun and interesting. An open world star wars should be badass, nope we will pick the most boring route possible
Nice to see the real wild gold ! Keep up the gaming vids!
I love, when real people review games. Not these game "journalists" of today.
He chewed tf out of Kay man 😭😭🤣🤣
The game is like this obv. because it's a AAAA game "pay more, get less" so you need to wait for dlcs for having a functional game.
Why buy at all?
@@casualcausalityy for self-abuse?
That's what happens when Ubisoft lays off 1,700 of their workers.
