It's just a shame that capcom sold it down the river. They just kept trying to reinvent the wheel when it was already damn near perfect and then they turned it into a damn mobile game. Honestly makes me sick.
I was handed this game by a good friend and just completed it for the first time moments ago. Such an outstanding RPG. I had to listen to this track again immediately. Capcom really had something here
First time I played Breath of Fire III was when I was 9 years old. Now I am 20, and finished the game for the fifth time. It still captivates me and I love it! ❤️
I traded this game in the second hand store for some pokemon cards I had back in 2001. Best trade ever. I first played it in 1998 when a cousin had it. Took me forever to find it but was so happy that I did. Sadly sold it for like 50 pence a few years back as I was low on cash, it was scratched to hell anyway. But the memories it gave are beyond priceless.
I was reminded of this game out of the blue visiting my parents home, and seeing my old ps2 gathering dust underneath my old desk. The first words of the song immediately came to mind. Funny because this game is a ps1 game lol.
Capcom focused reviving the RE series for the new gen gamers. But for us old schoolers, this series and other great JRPGs are the reminder that new gen gamers will never experience the joy of playing 90s to 00s games even the company remake or remaster it.

Crapcom, you won't EVER achieve the level of console superority you had during this period, though I question if you want to even try. RiP BOF and the best end theme to an RPG ever made.
Fureai has nothing to do with Pure Again, I listened to it just now to see if there's some similar melody like Pure Again first 19 seconds one in it...
Weirdly I've seen "Remake of the 1967 single by Ryoko Moriyama." by Oto Fumi listed under the Breath of Fire 4 ending song on some site, as well as the game "The Bouncer", so I'm pretty sure it's all a misinformation conspiracy by bots or something lmao.
Unlike everyone else, I actually think this game was just painfully slow, everything took forever to load. I was expecting to enjoy it at some point, but it never came. I think development for the game was rushed because a lot of major plot points felt rushed near the end, the ending was lackluster and there was very little in terms of "actual" content in the last areas after the desert. This song was the only rewarding thing in the whole game, I didn't even like the soundtrack really until this song, and this is coming from someone who grew up loving BOF1 and 2 when they were released.
