Breath of Fire 3 is an amazing game I really liked it and still do to be honest, it brings so much nostalgia to me like I have beaten this game like 3 times already I know it like the back of my hand, but seriously I highly recommend for you to play this awesome games, it's really fun and also it is quite the RPG like games not easy and not hard at the same time.

Well about the Boss battles I have to say that I made some mistakes to be honest with you like in the Gaist fight I used the Frost Gene instead of the Fire Gene but oh at least I won, also for the first bosses of the game the workers, I only recorded the first two as Mogu and Gary can only be fought that time and the other workers are all the same except for the Operator and the Worker. Also for the D. Zombie fight I mainly used Kyrie as I was not excited to face him, like he is the worst Boss for me in the whole game I really hate that one so I used Kyrie which is really not satisfying but at least it got the job done. Also for the Dolphin fight I recorded both Australian and the regular one since I thought hey why not just wanted to clear that point. And lastly about the Ammonite fight I am sorry since the audio messed up and it's like really low so sorry again for that.

So yeah that was it for Breath of Fire 3, I really love this game and if I had to play it again and again I would definitely say yes without hesitation, thanks for Kenzo Tsujimoto for creating such an amazing franchise like Breath of Fire, to be honest the first game I played from the franchise was Breath of Fire 3 which for me is the best one from all of them but again that's only my opinion. The battle style, the animation, the different Dragon forms that you can have the possibilities are endless! For me I would give this game a 10/10 because it's really really a gem that needs to be seen by more people.

We've gotten a lot of indie games using all types of "pixel art" for the last decade, but man, this game's era of pixel art is still peak.
As an indie dev myself, it's hard to beat Capcom's artists. Sad thing is, we remember these games as Capcom games and not the artist's names. They worked like mad and deserved more recognition.
One of my favourite rpg games of all time. It would be nice if they would do a remake of this masterpiece 💯
I'd love a remake or even a remaster like they did with Wonderboy and Alex Kidd. Such nice animations.

@@isometimesplaytw Yes, the game is great as it is. But have you seen the Mario RPG remake? Another great game that didn't need a remake either, but it raises the HYPE and generates new merchandising. You can always play the original
What a timeless classic. I think this is one of the best jrpgs of all time. Capcom did great and it aged like fine wine.
it really is, FF7 is my favorite(of course) but ive never beat it 5 times like BOF3

I love bof3, this game, ff8 and gtasa made my life beautiful. Every 3-4 years i play these games again and again. And i think my kids gonna play it also soon :) :)
The soundtrack of BoF 3 is fucking sick, Akari Kaida and Yoshino Aoki killed it here
Many soundtracks in this game are under rated which is a crime in my opinion
This was the first video game I played growing up, I used to play it with my Dad and my Brother. This game means so much to me and its sad this series has died out. One thing I always wanted in this game was a different ending, one where we save Teepo, it just feels wrong that he dies

Hello video from a year ago, but I have to say something! It makes me so happy seeing the love for this game not just in your gameplay, but also among the comments section! To me, this is more than just a classic. This was an early bonding experience for me and my stepdad! He would play it in his spare time and then coach me through the tough parts when I played. And this was back in '97, when online walkthroughs were hardly even a thing compared to nowadays! Thank you for conjuring up such great memories!

Honestly I'm not even THAT sure about the visuals. I mean yeah bof4 was higher definition and had a more artsy style. But the character designs where overall far more minmalistic, The dragon forms in general didn't look quite as cool and there's just certain touches like the ready animations for characters attacking just seem way more crisp and unique to each character. Also things like kid Rya having different attack animations before and after he gains confidence. Everything in bof4 for me feels watered down to me in comparison to bof3. Don't get me wrong. Bof4 is STILL great. But I actually prefer the visuals of 3 to 4. Honestly you nailed the point about characters though. In bof4 I actually cared more about Fou Lu than I did about the main cast XD and even then I only cared for like .. 2 of the main cast.

I feel like the replayability is relatively low, but I did give it two full plays. Goes to show how good PS1 RPGs were.
@@KnownAsKenji To be fair, appart from the different builds you can try (of lost of them aren't good) the replayability is pretty low. It's just that this game is amazing. Great music, amazing story, good cast of characters... I mostly play it over and over again out of love for that game

Greetings my fellow men of culture. This is still hands down my favorite game of all time. My first RPG ever as well (since 2001). Sometimes I’ll play BOF3 boss music over current games that just don’t stack haha. I still can’t imagine how this title hasn’t been remastered or given a proper sequel. BOF4 wasn’t bad, but i wasn’t a fan of the memory loss and story change. If only we had a proper BOF5…

My dad and I played this game together from beginning to end. We would trade off the controller after each boss. I had issues reading and this game helped me break out of my shell and improved my reading skills by reading out allowed as we played. Sentimental memories. I still own this game today.
This game was my very first RPG.
The only game I've playthrough 5 times... mainly cos the boss themes were catchy and it was so cool transforming into a dragon and a were tiger 😅

I wish for a soft 3D remake of this. Well this combined with the best parts of Breath of Fire 1 and 2 also. With a similar and new story with multiple story paths and endings. Along with maybe some Dark Cloud elements and rebuilding societies and towns.

@@CodePhoenix555 Thank you. Usually when I post online I just get shit on or trolled. It would be so awesome hopefully Capcom would make it. It would probably have action combat but hopefully it would also have turned based combat. You keep all your exp, items, unlocks and can switch between full action story mode and turn based.
If it did lean more action, then I can see the BoF games getting the same treatment as the Final Fantasy Remake. The semi-turn based action style they have in full modern 3D. I'd also like the ability to switch the play style too, like you said before.

Played through this game half a dozen times. Only now found out there is a bad and good ending, since I always choose to attack Myria
I experimented in this game many times and I remember it when I found out about the other ending when I was a kid, made me sad seeing the hero sitting alone forever, definitely a bad ending for the fans

I was actually thinking about doing this honestly. I started replaying BoF 4 and I played BoF 2 a long time ago so I should have something left in my head about those two, but as for BoF 1 I never actually played it, but I would love to play it and do a video about it I really appreciate your comment. Saddest game I've ever played. That next-to-last boss fight is heartbreaking.
Losing someone like Garr sure is sad he was not only confused but heartbroken because of all the dragons he killed, but at least he redeemed himself in the end

Definitively one of the top 10 games ever made, in the top 3 for JRPGs. If you got lead here by algorithms and haven't played it; stop what you're doing and go play it.
I never got to play this game... They should seriously port it to the current consoles. It has that distinct PS1 charm!
Fun fact, you CAN win the first fight against Balio and Sunder you just have to be around level 55, it results in the same scene but it can be done.
Also you only have to use influence once, unless rei dies, then you have to do it again after he revived. But influence stays in effect unless the influenced dies or the target dies. Theres a major boss you can screw with using influence. (Teepo has a 10% chance of being influenced hes the only character in the game wit ha % attached to it)

gisshan was a real wall first time for me. he heals up thoose magma snakes along time either youre power level very high or have real probs. but in general all bosses where damned hard in that game

04:06:12 Peco plants himself in the desert after the credits so he becomes a Yggdrasil Tree. He is a mutated member of the grassmen tribe and also Yggdrasil so it's pretty obvious I suppose I wish he could stay with the party though

I did not notice anything, Garr 'dies', that is clear, but Peco does not appear after the boss dies nor says anything as far as I noticed.

Is boring defeat dragon zombie with kyrie spell. Why didn't you put the battles against Arch Mage and Berserker? It would have been great to see them!
My best strategy is to put the offensive formation, with Rei at the top.
Rei must know the moves Resist, Last Resort, Super Combo, Multiple Strike.
Then she has to use the equipment that gives her the most speed.
When starting the battle, Ryu should maximize the team's defenses with Shield (4 uses). You can increase the attack too, but it is not so important, since there is a maximum.
Rei must use resist. If in the second turn he does not have the extra turn, the speed should be increased.
Now with the extra turn you just have to do Last Resort, followed by Resist. The next turn, put the most defensive and offensive equipment possible, attack with Super combo, then use Resist again. Repeat the play. With Last Resort you will add all the defense values to the attack, and thus the uses of Shield will work offensively. Also with this formation the vast majority of attacks will go towards Rei.
This method is very good for defeating the Arch Mage and the Berserker.
Resist does not protect from status.

From BoF wiki:
"In the Playstation version, Stallion's design was a reference to Ultraman, as was its signature attack Utmost Attack, but this was changed in the PSP port by turning Stallion brown and changing the name to Vortex Wave."
