I just came back to playing this game on an emulator. I was trying so hard to remember what was the name of this game . I had a bad ending before. As a kid, I didn’t know there were two endings. So i did it right this time and found out about this awesome nostalgic song 🎶 Thank you game for making my childhood wonderful.
I come back to this song often, it's so beautiful. And now that's I've studied Japanese for close to 2 years now, I can understand it better, though it's still tough to follow haha.
Before I knew about Japanese language, I can only guess the mood of the song by the tune. It's like a farewell song. Beautiful, sad, but hopeful. Now that I understand a little bit of Japanese, I'm quite surprised that the lyrics is very-very sad... T.T I mean, I didn't expect it to be so depressing and beautiful at the same time. God, I'm so sad now....
The story is a bit subpar compared to especially III, but the combat system is great, and the fact that all BoF games are technically sequels with several-hundred-year gaps between each other, the very setting for BoF4 actually provides some soul-crushing context for the ending of BoF3.
@@Sharkeisha1 damn, I guess I was waaay too specific about it. Didn't mean to spoil it, sorry ;) I was absolutely dumbfounded when I realized the connotations of what the world of BoFIV looks like.
@obinator3486 it's all good. Already spoiled it for myself watching let's plays. Seems like a really good story. Just wish I had a way to play bof 3 and 4. And a few other lost rpgs.
Very nostalgic. This song re-open my old memories in 2003 when me and my friends worked together to finish BOF IV. I still remembering characters from it. Ryu, Nina, Clay, Ershin, Scias, Ursula, and the main antagonist Fou-Lu.
Although I did an ending, it was not so special and I still am proud of it. It's what I can do to save the world, to do all my best and to pursue my dreams as high as I can.
Very mid story overall, but it has my personal favorite Nina of all games, and the combat has one of the greatest mechanics of any RPG. It really is up there with Chrono Trigger and Pokemon in level of fun. Now I officially ended my Breath of fire series playthtrough. I rank them as such: 1- Breath of Fire 2 2- Breath of Fire 3 3- Breath of Fire 4 4- Breath of Fire 1

Never played bof4, but hear good things. Grew up with bof2 and 3
