I feel that way about a lot of music (especially anime and game music) that game out around this time. It brings me back to the mid-00s, when I was still just a dumb kid and didn't have to worry about anything.
You know the song's loaded with nostalgia when listening to it for the first time in years makes shivers run up your spine.
Especially when near the final boss, Saaya, Reiji & Xiaomu's main nemesis.
I love how Project X Zone 2's title is named after this glorious song.
Haven't played the games but the song is definitely hype.

I haven't even played this game but this melody is so memorable.
It's japan exclusive sadly but there are english patched versions that do exist but with the popularity of Project X Zone's 1 and 2 and the two games prior SRT OG Saga Endless Frontier and Exceed (Exceed being another JP exclusive on DS) you'd think Japan would just give us the fucking game in a legacy collection or rerelease it already. There were so many 90's IP's that people in the US loved and still love today. And when Reiji & Xiaomu appeared in Endless Frontier a lot of people were kinda confused about it for a while.

This song is truly special to me, last time I listened to it was 5 years ago when I didn't had to worry about getting a job or anything, just me playing on my freshly modded 3DS. I love it because it instantly calms me down and fills with happiness like I didn't felt in a long time
Forget Lifelight, this right here is THE theme of massive crossover events to me. And the opening animation that backs it up? Perfection in every way, even if as a Klonoa fan I would've liked to see more shots of the Dream Traveler up close...

In this song, I can hear the mists of time swallowing several members of this game's cast, fading these characters into obscurity, as their relevancy in the West is squandered, or even worse in several cases, as their series' lie neglected for decades on end. But nonetheless, I continue to believe that we can still reach a hand out to them, even as this Brave New World stretches outward, carrying them further away from us with its expansion...I will hold onto that faith...
This is why I hold on to faith that Klonoa and Xenosaga will get a new game
I pray every year that Tales of Destiny DC gets a localized port

And then, May 26, 2025 will be its 20th anniversary. Also, Mission: Impossible 8 will come out in theaters around the time. A perfect coincidence, wouldn’t you say? Time to see Reiji Arisu and Xiaomu team up with Ethan Hunt to take down Gabriel and the Entity.

Man, missing the old times so much
I remember first seeing the opening sequence to this game way back in the mid 2000s (i wanna say 2005?). Back then, this game was impossible to find in the west, as the web was much different then, but G4 used to play japanese video game openings sometimes (i especially remember this one and Skygunner), i think the block was called Cinematech. Anyway, I used to absolutely love this song, it was one of my favorites as a teen. I haven't listened to this in years, and as soon as youtube recommended it I knew i had to take a little nostalgia trip. To my surprise, I somehow still know all the words to the shortened version (everything but the second verse).
Thank you for letting me relive being 17 again for a short moment.

Namco X Capcom brought me here. This game is literally one of the best I've ever played.
A very solid T-RPG for a crossover! Thanks to this game's battle system, we now have gems like Project X Zone and the Endless Frontier games (well, those seem to be under-appreciated for some reaons.)
HitsujiMamoru damn it, why don't they release an English translation in America? (I hate relying on English translations just to play a good game; and no, I don't have a translation option for my PlayStation *Yet.*)
@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 Because it's one hell of a lot of work, and just like the mainline Super Robot Taisen games, there's a lot of licensing hell involved. Very fun game in its day though, IMHO.

This game is fantastic :) Sure, it might be a bit dialog-heavy for some of you, but that's a sign that you shouldn't play more than an hour or so.
It took me nearly 200 hours to finish this monster. Great music, a vast cast of characters, references galore and a complex but also very interesting story.
Highly recommended for any Namco or Capcom fan; but preferably both ;)
I've played the other games in the series I have a physical copy of SRT OG Saga Endless Frontier and an english patch version of that games sequel on emulator, I've also played and used to own Project X Zone 1 and have a physical copy of PXZ2, this game is the only one I've yet to play. And because emulating PS2 games for PC is now more difficult with the new emulator that's the talk of the town these days I can't exactly pull it off.
This was in both Super Robot Wars OG Saga Endless Frontier games for DS as an instrumental, good stuff.

I can't believe this game came out way before Project X Zone. I've only known of Namco X Capcom through playing Project X Zone. Then the sequel to PXZ came out years later and we didn't get a third game since.
Played Namco X Capcom then Project x Zone 1 and 2. High time we get a collection in Switch, PS5 or Steam format.
They really should do that, they could gain lots of money from doing that

But in all seriousness, this game needs to get rereleased on multiple consoles. It’s a pretty cool crossover, and it shows a lot of potential for a fighting game crossover between Capcom and Bandai Namco. I’m just wondering why they couldn’t release this game in the west. It would’ve been decent if it was in the west. But however, I am wishing for a new Project X Zone 3 with updated graphics and new companies to join the fray. But all in all, this song is pretty badass.
