I'm trying to make some sketches for my future home and It's very interesting how I was applying some of these principles without even noticing. It tells me that there's some kind of psychological roots in them and not just fashion or conventions

I think this changes for every project but at least 2 is recommended

isn't variety just similar to emphasis ?
Emphasis is an extreme difference in the elements while variety is just diversity.

If I can make a constructive criticism:
The music on this video feels off. It's powerful but maybe too much. You could have usr it in important parts of the video cause in the whole it feels too much emotion and takes too much attention from you. But the video is great, I live it.
