Laura is the one that gets hired the most. I would add some plants or flowers to give it some character, but overall, flawless.
Loved the lack of tiles in the shower… so easy to clean! ❤
@@EH23831the shower has tiles on the floor, walls, and ceiling.
Just because McDonald's has served a billion people doesn't mean it's the best restaurant out there...
@@jlu61723 REPLIES
@@jlu6172 yup.
Only Laura thought about storage
And let's face it, trying to hand shower in that hothouse bathtub with no curtain will be an interesting experience.
Laura is the hero of this one
Nope Patrick won
I loved the Green!! Storage is a must though. I would’ve chosen a small cabinet or dresser instead of a pedestal sinks. Otherwise it was perfect.
Not really, Xavier did include hidden cabinets in the wal for storage, he just did it in a non boring way.
Laura's design is truly functional and you wouldn't dread going in to wash your face in the morning. The other ones are sensory overload. Especially if this is the only bathroom.
Agreed. I'm sorry that the bathing space does not support some sort of sit-down or bath capability, since there's a time and place for both showers and baths.
"I'm not going to over-decorate the space," he says as we look at the larger than life nekked fella mosaic, the pink pool railings, the basketball-sized sconces...
Laura Hodges created the most user-friendly design in American style. not too bright, but there is also storage space.
AD really needs to give us more of this series, with more designers and more often. The bathrooms in this one were ok. Laura's was nice, clean and usable, but there was no excitement. Patrick's made me feel like I was visiting the Golden Girls and Xavier's... Xavier's... SMH, Bless his heart. I was rooting for him to do better after that dorm room fiasco and while this was better, it was still , well, Xavier. The whole time I kept wondering what Noz and Darren would have done with the space. I like to see what all the designers create even if I think some of the designs are hideous. It's still fun to see .
Oh stop! The Golden Girls 💀 I cannot unsee it now!!!
@@TanteSklaidos It's as if the Girls came back and decorated it themselves.😆
Noz and Darren would have served us ART, we all know it! Not user friendly but pure joy to watch
I would toned down about 35% of Patrick's design to get perfect for me. I rather have the original one to get Xavier's 😅 nothing makes sense and looks ugly and where are the storage?
@@marcoslopes5610 The storage is hidden inside the walls like he explained, push to open.
Patrick's take feels like a hotel bathroom and Xavier feels like a bathroom at a restaurant or hostel. Laura's design is practical and timeless.
Oddly, out of all three, it's _Laura's_ that strikes me as the anonymous-looking hotel bathroom.
As someone who's stayed in a lot of decent hotels around the world while working, I have _never_ walked into one like Patrick's - and I really wish that I had!
Laura's looks like a hospital bathroom
@@jodyj0 I've worked in many hospitals as a travel nurse. No it doesn't.
@toomuchpassion2361 so have I for 9 years at different hospitals in different states & cities.
Laura's: calming and elegant. Xavier's: tasteful and inspired. Patrick's: really lively and playful. Well done, all!
As someone who loves green and needs to have a bathtub, I really love Patrick's design. Minus, the peacock. Guess I'm the only one.
Nah I got you. It looks too garish and it doesn't even pops out due to the wallpaper. I'd just swap it for some shower shelves.
I love everything about Patrick's design
The blue in the tiles is a bit too far but otherwise it's pretty cool
I mean it isn't even a live peacock. What was he thinking????
I loved his design
Laura designed it exactly how I was imagining it. Would definitely hire her. 👌
The ladies vision was my cup of tea...loved it ..sophisticated and functional
It's wild that none of these people use toilet paper
They use a bidet, they’re fancy.
It's in the cabinets
I want to have Laura’s definitely. It feels luxurouis and very cool.
Not a fan of the sink, though, unless it is deeper than it looks.
All in on Xavier’s design - perfectly captures the period modernist vibe he was going for. Agree with him on fun showering with the mosaic Roman. And great storage cleverly concealed behind panels on the sink wall.
Yes the flush concealed cabinets are genius, it's a lovely bathroom
I guess it just shows how different tastes can vary. I hated his so much!! I hate public bathrooms, I don't want that feeling in my personal bathroom!!
Clear winner. Not only is her design the most tasteful and timeless, it is the most functional by far. Foggy mirror and step in tub are problematic.
I love all three! The vibrant green and tropical hues of Patrick’s, the clean, minimalist yet elegant style of Laura’s, and Xavier’s simple yet striking design.
I liked elements of all three designs:
- Patrick’s color palette (but not too much of the wallpaper)
- Xavier’s heated towel rack and focal wall in the shower (maybe make that a mosaic peacock or mosaic of the leaves instead)
- Laura’s floating toilet and a sink cabinet (and the niche if it doesn’t mess up the mosaic)
- I prefer the spa shower over the tub
This shows that if you get multiple design ideas you can draw upon what really appeals to and inspires you!
Exactly this
At the beginning, I was expecting to like Xavier’s bathroom the most, just based on the examples that were shown, but Patrick really surprised me and won me over! I love how much colour he integrates, yet it still feels very serene!
Yes but wallpaper on a bathroom is just a big no. It’s going to peel of and be mouldy. Design in my opinion have to be practical as much as beautiful.
@@keld6320 they do make wallpaper that is suitable for bathrooms though.
Laura edges it for me for her use of space👌🏽
Xavier’s is too out there for me. In my heart I would love to have Patrick’s design. My head is screaming Laura, Laura, Laura. In reality, it’s the original bathroom!
It sort of is, isn't it? Still very traditional, only very moderate changes.
i need to meet the people who have 0 storage needs in their bathroom
Laura's was the best design: minimal, very functional for storage/daily use products, light and made it look bigger
The jungle is very instagrammable but would be an absolute nightmare to clean and maintain. The peacock will grow mold!
The one with the big mural of the guy is too exotic. It'll be an issue when you try to sell the house.
The middle one is relatively "boring" but the closest to what a nice bathroom would be like in real life. It looks like something you would find in a 4 star hotel.
LOVE this series and love how they get to react to each other's designs! the two gentlemen created very unique, artistic bathrooms but Laura's is the only one I'd actually want to live in haha
Giving Xavier the nod here, I feel like those sconces really tie everything together making it feel modern and historic at the same time
He won me over with the hidden flush cabinets, but I love the marble mosaic mural, the floating sink, mounted toilet, everything ties in together.
I gotta go with Patrick. I am a bathtub person and I gotta have my tub. I love the design and green colors. That wallpaper is awesome 😘🥰
Wow Xavier nailed it 💯 I love everything about his design 👏🏾
Love Laura's. It feels the most relaxing.
I loved Patrick’s bathroom. Everything about it made me feel great. Laura’s is next up because it’s functional and practical and elegant. I only like the heated towel rack for Xavier sorry to say 😭 I think the whole public pool theme gives me the ick tbh
Laura is the winner. She also thought and mentioned practical uses of a bathroom, like properly see your face when looking at a mirror (hello?) and the safeness of a shower floor. Would hire her in a minute.
why critique each designer? This is their vision! and this is what AD asked them to do. Embrace it or don't. There is a real Food Network contest/gladiator vibe in these comments. AD has this lovely series of 3 designers with their vision of designing different spaces if they had no constraints. No one asked anyone to vote on their designs. Just enjoy the designs and the high production values. Get outraged about something else.
All three of the designs are creative and beautiful. Personally, I love Patrick's colorful wallpaper design with the bamboo mirror frame and ladder.
I wasn't expecting to like the mosaic bathroom when I first saw the tiles, but it ended up being my favourite of the 3! All 3 are fab though :)
Laura is Hired!!! Beautiful ❤
Darren is my all time favorite but I always love how functional and beautiful Lauren makes her spaces and feel like they're the most usable/commonly chosen by the public
These vlogs are so much fun! Please continue this series.
Laura: If I win the lotto, I'll be calling. We all need a little more warm but calmness in our lives😊
I was a bit skeptical of Patrick's design at first, when it looked like he was putting wallpaper in a shower LOL. But when he replaced the shower for a tub, it made a bit more sense. I think his design is beautiful. I wouldn't be able to use it as an everyday bathroom, since I would need a shower, but it is a gorgeous second/guest bathroom. Absolutley love the lush greens!
I'd give my vote to Laura. Practical and beautiful ❤️
Just about to renovate a bathroom almost the same size so this was super cool to see three totally contrasting outcomes in the same space (yes, this video was suggested to me by youtube, only two days after gmailing the contractor - draw your own conclusions!)
Green one did it for me 🤩🤩
I like Lauren and Xavier's bathrooms but I LOVE PATRICKS!!! 🌱🍃🍀🌿
I liked all three. The designers did a great job. I like Xavier used a bit of restrain this time. It's a clear vision and an interesting bathroom! The designers weren't given restrictions but Laura's is so functional. She's clearly in tune with clients and practicals. I also feel like she nailed some great ideas for a bathroom. Warmth, calm, a bit of elegance. Loved her talking about a less slippery floor. I'm not 100% on the dresser but it's the room that's the most satisfying? The one I'd be happiest with the longest? Really did enjoy all of them.
I love this show, bc of vibrancy of the three of them. They respect and admire each other and also bring genuinely their own self.
I think all the designs are beautiful, it just shows their difference in personality. But because I like it calm and classy, I would definitely go for Laura's
Laura’s bathroom 😮💨💅🏾
Laura was my favorite omg, what a beautiful design 😎
What a replicated design
love love love the jungle bathroom!!!!!
Dear AD, Kindly don’t stop making this kind of videos.
Love this series
Xavier's is so unique.
Xavier it’s obviously that he is a troll in the series! No normal human would suggest those… “things”
He’s there just for the fun and controversy in the comments! I don’t believe that he is a interior designer!
@@Kolious_Thrace I would 100% put that design into my bathroom if I had the money
A mix of Patrick and Laura's would be perfect for me. I love the colours and nature feel in Patrick's bathroom and the practicality of Laura's.
Almost everyone is loving on Laura's bathroom, with the exception of the vintage vanity, I hate it. I love the walk-in shower with giant mosaic, although a different mosaic for me. I also love the blue tile, but then I already have a similar blue on my bathroom ceiling. Xavier wins hands down for me.
Xavier- its a real, completed vision- almost cinematic
Are we really back to avocado bathroom suites?! 😂 Laura's design is so elegant and practical, but the others also have elements that would be fun to incorporate.
I love the bamboo mirror and towel ladder in Patrick's space, and the mosaic tile ( without the Roman) in Xaviers, But for me Laura's is perfect. I love how calm and peaceful it is, and a plant, candle, and a piece of art and I'd be happier.
Laura's is like a generic department store bathroom
I love that all the designers chose tile floors, and the choices diverged wildly. Just shows how versaTILE it is. I do wonder how the wooden dresser will fare over time in such a moist environment. Love the idea of the mosaic Roman and the pool vibe in Xavier's design. Also like the luxury of the heated towel rack. I'm not sure why designers always make the bath vs shower such a black and white argument. Can't we have both? Not sure I loved the wallpaper in Patrick's design, but liked he was unafraid of color.
Laura really spoke to me. The dresser-sink, I LOVE and it just felt so clean and warm and tasteful and a place I would like to be at the beginning of the day, getting ready, or after running six miles and taking my time to shower and moisturize, while listening to music. She did that.
Her dresser will mold & rot in the humidity
This may be the first one where I would absolutely take all three. So much fun!
I like each design for different reasons. This was fun.
Laura and Patrick make sense. The other guy is weird.
Close minded
I would hire Laura in a heartbeat, love her style and aesthetic its timeless and so beautiful.
Laura's is perfect and I love she thought about the storage, but I just adore the feel, vibe and choice of materials of Patrick's..these videos are very inspirational
I’d go with Laura’s. I love how intimate it makes me feel to be taking my warm shower in that shower after a long day. The fact that its dark too. Ahh ❤
I only like the recessed shower shelf, brass & wall mounted toilet. I dislike the sink & the dresser will get moldy & rot in the bathroom.
I absolutely Love this series on the channel!
Patrick’s and Laura’s are STUNNING
Can Xavier have his own show please? I need to listen to him wax poetic about design while I stare at his blue eyes.
He's cute
Im new to this channel but i love the format and would like to see more videos like this.
Loves Patrick and Laura design 😍
That mosaic is ridiculous. Who would want to see that when they walk in their bathroom…
I love Laura's bathroom the most. It's serene, elegant and luxurious. Actually, the style and some of the solutions are pretty close to the bathroom that we designed for our new house.
I'm one of the Laura fans for sure. Great designs.
The one with the jungle wallpaper appeals to me the most. Why? It seems a bit retro with the green sink/ tub/ toilet, and it has a nice big bathtub. It seems to be the American trend to rip out the bathtub and put in a walk-in shower. Yet, in the United Kingdom, various countries in the European Union, and Japan, a big soaking bathtub is thought of as a treasure for the hydrotherapy. Various studies published by the Cleveland Clinic, Harvard Health, and the National Library of Medicine have shown that soaking in the bathtub (with or without Epsom salts) has multiple benefits for mental and physical well-being.
First time I would take any one of these! Bravo all three of you!❤🎉
I love interior designers and landscapers
they are artists their canvas just happens to be spaces❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am dying for Patrick’s design it is amazing
That's great! I wish I had seen this before renovating my bathroom
Hard one because as much as I love the other two, Laura's design just does it for me
Loved Laura’s design I could easily reflect on it
Well done ...!!! 3 in the time of one.... and all 3 were winners 💕
Patrick's design is definitely my favorite aesthetically, except I wish the sink was still part of a countertop instead of a standalone. I need that counter space.
Great designs, this time I have to go with Laura. Thanks again, designers.
That niche in Laura's design is superb! I am a bath tub person so I love the escapism design by Patrick, minus the peacock and I would have a stool chair in the bamboo theme without a back.
Patrick's design speaks to me! Lara's design is excellent to me too.
Laura's is beautiful, I'd love a bathroom like that but amazing to see the more creative crazy ideas too
I really enjoyed ALL three!!!
Laura’s 💖
The green bathroom is exquisite!
Laura for the win! Beautiful and timeless!
in the words of Paul Hollywood, "style over substance" seems to consistently rule this AD series. The existing vanity wasn't inspired, but it was functional. The cool think about tiny space vids is the clever, design-conscious ways they consider maximizing storage and plurality of uses. It's like these folks don't have any concept of the living needs of a space.
I am in love on this!
I absolutely LOVE Patrick's color scheme! 😍. The colors and wallppaer are absoutle GOREGOUS.
For me, I would remove the peacock, the little chair and I would probably custom build shelving around the tub so that's there's more space.
I love Patrick's wall paper and colour tiles. I love Laura's shower. I l love Xavier's idea of a warm towel rack but in gold colour and i will leave the original sink and mirroras it is😃
Laura gets me. Every time!
TALENTED!
This is full of idea and tips based on the experience of 3 experts and that made this video so special. 😍✨
I loved the Patrick’s design 😍😍😍
I live all three vidions! Well done! 👍🏽
Fantastic!
I love patrick and Laura’s design
I want to escape! Love the whole getaway feel and vibes in some pleasing greens!
