This is a solid option for people looking to add their own style to a Softail frame.

Standard have not heavy weight and slim size wheel, so it got a sufficient torque, nimble handling.
(Very fun bike in Harley)
Of course, it's good for beginners

it suits skilled riders who want a classic style and fun ride rather than a bike for beginners~~`!!
Feels like this is one of the few Harleys that still looks like a Harley.
They grey with those wheels actually looks good on that bike!

Hell yeah! Love to see content on this bike. I have a 23 model and I absolutely love it. It is endless to what you can do with it as far as style and performance go. Very underrated bike 🤙

I absolutely love the traditional Harley look, customization potential and sound of the bike. For a couple of thousand less a person could choose the arguably more powerful, more feature equipped, and smoother riding Nightster Special. For a person who plans to do a lot of mods, and insists on an air cooled machine, this could be an excellent choice for them.

Top rate review and your bike with the wheels, brake disc and other add-ones is the best looking Standard I’ve seen.

I took my 23 FXST from Las Vegas to Phoenix (and back) last week. Straight highway driving, I averaged 58 mpg.

It would look much much better with a new modern wider front end and a fat gas tank with modern dashboard for the same price.
I have a 2020 Standard and I love it. I put a good amount of coin into and blacked it all out. I just think a bike should be bare bones like the bikes in the past. I mean its a motorcycle...not a Caddy. Just my opinion...I just love the old school vibe.
I like the seat on your bike. It looks better butted up to the tank. I don't like the look of that space between the seat and tank on the 2024. Great review.

I got same bike stage 2 love it
3.5 gallon tank isn't as bad as most people think...my 1998 Fatboy only came with a 4.2 gallon as well as the Heritage Softail...they didn't go to a 5 gallon until 2000 model year. With the better fuel metering of the new fuel injection as compared to the older carb models that I mentioned...it will go about as far as the older model year bikes that I mentioned.
I prefer the license plate mounted on the tail fender
What's your thoughts on the forks on the Standard not being covered like the Street Bob gators? Is the street bob's purely for looks?
I’d say it was put in for cosmetics but it would keep debris out. You can put them on a Standard. I’ve also cut them off the Street Bob! Haha

So. The Softail Standard is the Real Inheritor of the XL Mantle. The Sportster S is what the Street should have been Sans the price tag. So up'ing the Engine size gave your bike a drinking problem? Do the Street Bob tanks fit? Looks like a very nice bike to Mod to perfection.

It is! I own a 2023 softail standard and added cruise control.
Why did they not put on the more traditional rear fender this looks more like a lowrider or superglide
The nightster looks dumb with only a grey tank and black fenders. Why does HD do that.

Why do HD not sell the Fat Bob in the USA?
Low rider S is pretty basic. I wanted the twin brakes, bigger motor, bigger tank (for the looks), and upside down forks. Is it worth the extra money over the standard. Hard to say.
22 Lowrider s owner myself & I think the fxlrs is worth the extra money , way better looking bike & better handling , only extras I added so far is a 2 into 1 cobra el Diablo exhaust with a Don performance tune

DOes Harley ever stop at finding ways to jack up the price. Painting it gray when they know most will want black but you have to pay extra. I have a harley and other bikes but losing faith in their marketing.

Harley can keep that shit. I'm not going to pay the kind of money that they are charging for these bikes. I'll stick with triumph and get a more reliable bike and a more comfortable bike to ride. Good video and appreciate you. Thanks
Still annoyed with Harley switching the base color but at the same time from a business perspective i get it. Easy way to make a couple bucks off someone wanting black
I wouldn’t pay extra for ANY solid color.
I would have to have spoked wheels on the Softtail Standard.
I went the performance route and that didn't fit the part looks or performance wise.

I thought that they discontinued the standard.... Fair warning if you can't afford a harley outright then find a private lender because HD loans are incredibly predatory.
Just buy yourself the Street bob 114, way more value for you money. 😊
The bike should have came with the 114 engine and a 5 gallon fuel tank
5 gallon tank would be great. I think a low rider tank will swap onto it. You can order it with a 128 kit and Harley maintains the warranty. 😉

Please refrain from calling the primer gray "Billiard". I DOG DARE you to find ANY Billiard place or set that has any gray color included. It's PRIMER AND CLEAR COAT. Once again the moco is screwing the customer.

I don’t know if anybody noticed they made the tank smaller. Not sure if that’s because of the reduction in fossil fuel usage for the future or because millennials like it that way, small? I’m old-school I like them fat.
For a standard 107cc @ $14,000 Harley has finally lost there mind. You can get 114CC FOR 17,OOO if you have a bit of patience and some barganing skills. For the love of your wallet Dont do it.
