I bought 2023 black denim breakout and the ride is smooth and powerful AF. Turns are smoother than you’d expect as well. The bike is fairly nimble with a weight of around 675 lbs fully loaded. It gets allot of attention and makes you feel like such a badass while riding it.
It better be reliable for the price we paid. I have a 21 fat boy and love it. Seats not that comfortable but that can be changed. Have you put different pipes on it yet? I went with Freedom Performance 2to1 with side dump turnout and the Trask air cleaner. It’s dope. Sounds great and gave me that extra pep I was hoping for.
Just came across your channel today. I'm deciding between these two bikes to buy for my first one. Live in Northwest Arkansas (lots of mountains, curves). looking for a commuter bike and also to catch eyes in town. Love your enthusiasm and detail on these. Next comparison video, can we hear how they sound and maybe ride by, test drive? Keep up good work brother. Appreciate your insights.
I will definitely let you hear how they sound… Working on getting a test ride camera.. I’m glad you like the channel bro! I am mixed between both bikes. It really depends on the type of riding you doing. Handling I would go with Fatboy and power I would go with the Breakout. Let me know which one you decide bro.. thanks for subscribing
@@stogicideI haven’t rode a breakout but I own the fat boy. Wouldn’t the breakout be the better handling bike since the front tire is skinnier than the fat boys? If he’s looking for a bike that handles well I might suggest the Lowrider S ya?
@@timbutler3213 everyone has different preferences. I think the fat boy handles better because the breakout has that 21 inch rim w/ that rake front end.
Good vid. Hard to compare these scoots. The Breakout is like a dragster and the Fatboy is a BLVD brute. 2 different species. Sleek and quick vs Beefy and rough.
Definitely true brother..Both have different styles but a lot of people compare these two together…those fat tires is what puts them in the same class…
To be honest with you, I really like both of them for city riding. I don’t like either one of them for an 8 hour ride. Although you can do it, but these bikes were not design to do 8 hours. If you ride it up anyways, I would rather have the Fatboy in the mountains. I would have better lean angles in the curves.
I sat on both I’m only 5’ 10” 225# but the fat boy was like sitting in a chair at your kitchen table (I didn’t like that). Those foot boards just don’t feel like motorcycle to me. I like my feet out there or under me on pegs. Anyway at 5’10” I was stretched pretty good on the breakout but I liked the open feeling around my feet…just my 2 cents
Choosing between these two bikes is not an easy task because they both have a lot of features that are the same that riders love. Was the your 1st Harley?
@@stogicide my last Harley I bought I bought a wide glide. My wife was pissed. She wanted me to buy a fat boy and I said something about the break out. She said no way you’re being a fat boy.
I'm struggling to decide which one to buy but who am I fooling, I've owned two Fatboys, a 1996 and a 2022, (the damn thieves stole my 2022), I just have to ride the Breakout to make the decision that is the only way, yeah, I love the look of the Breakout and of course I love the look of the 2024 Fatboy. I'm leaning toward the Fatboy just because I love the look but the 2024 Breakout, love the air cleaner, the wheels are beautiful and it's got the 117 engine!!, so BIG!! Yeah, time to hit the dealer and make a decision, test ride time, fortunately I had theft insurance so I get $5k from that and $1k from the Gap insurance, my cash $3K so $9k down, here I go!

The breakout is a crazy fast bike!! Definitely an attention grabber. Did it take long for you to adjust to the back tire??
I just bought the 2023 Fatboy and I love it not looking back
What’s your favorite feature of the Fatboy?
I bought a 22 Fatboy and ride it daily it is very reliable and a lot of fun to ride. 👌

Which one would you select if the main purpose is city ride with a head turner looks and occasional 8 hour rides to the mountains. Thank you.

Great video really like the comparison of the bikes,
If Harley gave you one of these bikes which on would you take?
i own a 22 fatboy. Ive enjoyed it so much. its my first Harley.. That breakout is a head turner though. Cant go wrong with either one of them.
For sure… I agree!! Was the breakout an option when you bought it
I bought the breakout denim black
That’s is what’s up… How do you like the ride?
For a 6’2 guy around 240 pounds which bike will I fit better on and not look as cramped?
I personally think the breakout because it has the forward controls and will give you a better leg extension.

Neither. They both suffer from the same two fatal flaws: (1) the M8 motor and (2) the 240 rear tire.
