I hope they increased the rear shock travel on the 2024s. My 2020 had 1 inch of travel and rode terrible so I installed an adjustable damping coil over shock with a lighter, 300 lb spring rate. The throttle spring was ridiculously stiff so I disassembled the electronic throttle assembly and iinstalled a lighter weight spring. The 107 engine is a hotrod, no complaints there!
I have a Standard of mine, every day I enjoy this bike~~😊 (I give this bike's nick named that " Street bob classic" ) 107 motor have enough torque, nimble handling, beautiful classic looks, the freedom to tune and so on ~~~ What else do we need? Riding Standard is the most effective method key Value Harley-Davidson Can Give~~! ( I think)
I prefer my 2007 softail standard. Two up seating, five gallon tank with speedometer on it, wide glide front end, and a freshly rebuilt tc96 with some goodies in it.
That bike has since sold but it looks closer to the 18'' than the 14." Reach out to our Parts Department to find one that works for you! www.tobaccoroadhd.com/
I use one of those for my ‘23 model. I love it: great for longer highway rides, and it is unobtrusive, holding that bobber look even with it on. And it pops on and off in mere seconds, if I want to feel the wind.
For longer touring, riders (that still want a Softail) might prefer something like the Low Rider S with the 5 gallon tank. Although, on the Standard with the smaller wheels, the proportions on this bike do look good.
Stripped down motorcycle for a msrp of $15K? What???? Who in 2024 is paying this much for such a stripped down bike? No abs, no cruise control even though is a cruiser, go figure, cheap ass front forks not even inverted, tiny tiny LCD display, air cooled to roast your nuts, and single front disk brake? Who in 2024 between the age of 20 and 40 is paying this much for a bare bones HD?
In this video, viewers actually get a twofer! We got to show off a 2022 AND a 2024, show that not much has changed between those models, show a few popular upgrades folks have done to these bikes, and we showed how they ride without putting miles on a new bike!
Good looking bike. I like the black better. My neighbor just bought Indian in Woke colors I think it is called the little fawn or little brave or something like that. Definitely not something I personally would own. I just hope Harley doesn't follow that idea.
Jesus, motorcycle colors are woke now? Imagine calling everyone snowflakes, and also be annoyed someone else bought a different bike color than you would prefer.
That’s the best I heard so far calling a color woke. Oh boy. So in all honesty your neighbor bought a better looking bike and got more bang for his buck. Smart choice from your neighbor sounds like a very intelligent neighbor , maybe you should ask for some coaching lessons on how to pick a bike in 2024.
Well, used bike sales should skyrocket. Why Ballard grey? More closely matches the color of the sky so cars won't see you as well? Black so popular Harley decided to make money on it? They ought to give it away because you're gonna spend 20gs fixing the aesthetics of this POS!
No wonder why they aren’t selling. The true mad HD customers call it woke, while smarter and intelligent customers call it greedy, not woke. $20K out the door for a bare bones piece of chrome crap to spend another $10K to make it an acceptable bike in 2024 is just dumb.
Really need to go back to the 5 gallon tank with the gauges on it.
still like that on other softails like the fat boy and low rider if that is your preference.

It's a great looking bike, and no BS involved.
Glad I got my 23 FXST in black before battleship gray became the standard color.
mine is a 22, same! Like the big saddle, the tuck and roll is a little hard after a couple of hours.
It needs a full size tank, I don't see how that lowered the price much. Other than that you can add what you want to it.

What size is the windshield on the bike? 14 or 18 inch screen?

What windshield is that?
Looks like one of the H-D Quick Release Windshields.

"A basic motorcycle that's unique" 🤣

Nope just traded in still payed 20G’s
I think the cast wheel is a poor choice. I am ok with cast wheel but this looks like an afterthought.

Talks about a 2024, rides a 2022 -- good click bait brah!

Fancy way of saying clickbait

If you are talking about the scout, it would blow the doors off this bike. Mighty fast.

Harley is committed to that ugly speedo/tac display. Another case of fixing something that wasnt broken.
Great looking bike otherwise!
I think it looks good
