MOUNTAIN RIDGELINE CAMP | TERRIBLE DINNER

- Headed up to a ridge line camp I spied several years ago on another hike. Brilliant view and very cold camping with a dinner that was just terrible, a dehydrated meal pack. But otherwise very enjoyable

The scenery with the bird calls in the background was amazing. I agree on the dehydrated meals, only marginally better than starving.
Thanks Leah, I will have to try some other dehydrated meals, surely there must be some better options out there. Cheers Paul
@@Getgowin Back Country is the best one I have tasted so far but I still only use them as a back up.
Good idea
Thanks Paul, good that you tried the commercial meal, I still reckon you can't beat the good old dehydrated spag bol 🤣👍
Spot on Shaun, I this would be the only option that would be edible. Cheers Paul
Another great video Paul. Yeah those dehydrated meals can be a bit hit and miss. But, great little camp spot, and the solitude with the great Aussie bush views. How lucky are we. By the way, I always take a small saw also for those very reasons you explained. Cheers and keep up the great adventures mate.
Couldn’t agree more, we are spoilt in this country and most don’t appreciate it. Cheers Paul
Yeah nice spot. Love a beer and a campfire. 😁
Yes the two core ingredients!
Enjoyed your adventure. Stunning views! New sub.
Thanks Tony, and thanks for the sub!
I have enjoyed your wandering through the bush. This looked like a great spot. Like you, I’m looking forward to getting the canoe on the water with the coming of some warmer weather and seeing some of your canoe adventures.
Cheers Ken, yeah looking forward to heading out for a paddle. Question is where?
Brilliant camp spot. Try the Radix brand and I stick with the curries and or pasta based meals which tend to taste better.
Yeah the camp was excellent. I’ll try the Radix and I think you’re right the pasta based meals might be better, the veggies in that one tasted strange. Thanks for watching.
😊 Happy hiking n camping mate
Cheers Gunter
What a pretty spot amongst the Xanthorrhoea. What saw is that . its not in your equipment list
Hey sorry, I just added it. Its a Agawa Boreal 21 Folding Bow Saw: amzn.to/4fGjMeW
Cheers, Paul
Enjoy your vids. What brand of canoe do you have?
Cheers, the canoe is a One Tree Canoe, Australian made in fibreglass.
Hey mate thanks for sharing, I’m keen to get out and use the tarp myself. Where is this located? 😁
It’s a hike called Steamers, it’s outside Warwick in QLD
Thanks mate. I will have to check it out 😊
When you were in this area three years ago did you do a video? If so what was it called?
Yes I did, it’s called Emu Creek, brilliant camp spot. Cheers
