I like the Firebox stoves. I have the G5 in titanium along with the Nano Gen 2 in titanium. Started with the Nano Gen 2 in stainless then switched to titanium since it cools down quickly. The choice of fuels in either is numerous and the light weight along with the versatility of them a person can not go wrong with a Firebox stove.
Great review! I have the 5" Firebox and the Nano. I mostly use a Trangia in the Nano for quick cooks like coffee, tea, or boiling water for a dehydrated meal. I also have an Esbit stove I bought in Germany when I was in the Army 30 yrs ago. I pulled it out a while back and it still had a box of tablets in it and a book of MRE matches tucked inside the box. Just for fun, I set it up and lit a 30 yr old tablet with a 30 yrs old match and heated up a cup of water for some tea. It all worked perfectly. I was surprised the matches were still good, since the storage hasn't always been humidity free. Your little multi-fuel stove is really nice. I'd like to get one for myself, eventually. Pathfinder was making one, but they didn't make it for long. I don't know if there was something wrong with it, or maybe sales weren't what they expected and discontinued it. I am going to e-mail Firebox Stoves and see if Steve will "invent" a multi-fuel burner that can be used in the Firebox stoves.
Hey thanks for watching. How cool is the Esbit stove! Still good after 30 years. Great idea to have Steve make a multi fuel stove for the Firebox. The Nano is my next buy for hiking. Cheers Paul
Trangia are awesome I’ve used them for over 40years and use a triangle on most days. The firebox is a great addition to complement the trangias. Absolutely love using them
Great comparison
Thank you
Just picked up the Firebox G2 and the 16mm billy pot. Your video and channel came across my feeds. Great review and I’ve subbed to your channel. 👍
Thank you for subscribing! Regards Paul

Nice review helps me decide with a long trip coming up. What was the final "So forth" count
Hahaha, very funny… probably better than “So yeah “….
I own the O.G Firebox, the Nano and the Scout. They are all rock-solid products. I also have some of the optional accessories, too.
Hey thanks for watching. I also want to get the Nano for hiking, brilliant bit of kit. Cheers Paul

Cheers, no I don’t think you can.
Great review, Thanks.
Thanks Ian
