You can also just set Merge nodes in DOPs to "mutual" and then the order is irrelevant. Thanks for the camera frustrum tip, that is amazing
Ouh, I definitely need to give the shot sculpt a go. Thanks a bunch for the tips!
Here are some of my favs that I wish I knew earlier:
-selecting multiple nodes and alt dragging from one output automatically merges them
-holding shift or ctrl when moving a node will move all upstream or downstream nodes with it
-pressing m over the viewport with the tool handle selected will cycle through the different orientation states of the gizmo. Worldspace, Objectspace, etc.
-pressing del over the viewport will allow you to move the anchor point
Cheers :)
Awesome tips, thanks for sharing!!
Big fat thumbs up well deserved! Thx!
I appreciate that so much, thank you!
Thanks for including that Shift+R shortcut. At least I knew one of the tips 😂 Such a great list, I’m loving these tip videos! 🙏
Why was I the only one who didn't know about shift+R until recently? haha
Vector in viewport are really great !! ... really appreciated this video 🎉
Agreed, it is super fun to use in certain situations! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Great tips!
Man, I LOVE your format and content. I've been using Houdini in isolation for 7 years (and I'm not social on the www), so I miss out on tips like this as there's no colleagues by my side to share knowledge with. These videos of yours fill that gap perfectly. Thank you!
Super glad you find it helpful. I totally suggest finding some good discord or Slack servers. I'm a huge fan of having people around who can help!
Thanks! In h19 we thankfully now have all the shortcuts secrets in the HUD, so using the Bend, there is even more stuff there! 👍
I'm a simple guy, I see a new Houdini Time video, I hit Like.
I appreciate the simplicity of those actions! :D
Paul, you rock!
Thanks🤘

U star!!!
That green shirt makes you look like a doctor, Dr. Med. Esteves.
Anyways, is there a way to modify head aches into something positive by using the attribute node?
How do you add white water to a SOPs simulation inside a geo node? Sorry, I’m a noob in Houdini.
👍
😍
why did they hide shotsculpt!
0:50 whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? why did i not know and why its hidden??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
No idea why it's hidden. It's super odd. But, it's a super nice tool to have! :)
@@PaulEsteves28 do you know how to avoid crashes/pverload when undo while bonedeform is (or gets) activated? i sometimes run into situations where my houdiny eats up to 28 gigs of ram and 100% of my ssd
what other opunhide Sop tools are hidden away? Houdini sculpting sucks ass btw
Yeah, I really hope Houdini adds some basic sculpting tools.. It'll go a long way. I'm not sure why it's hidden or what else is hidden. Usually it's only old, depreciated nodes. But this one snuck in there.
I said go bigger with the v-neck! Unsub ;)
NOOOO, I can't promise bigger v-neck.. But... stay anyway ;)
