    I could watch your videos and listen to your stories all day everyday. As 61 year old grandmother, you’re living the life and hiking all that I wish I had done. Life can get busy and next thing you know, you’re getting old, with many health issues and bad knees and then you dream you had done all these things. Keep taking time to do the things you love and take the time to smell the roses. Life goes by way to fast. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Keep reaching for the stars! Happy Trails Panda! Don’t check out, we all need to see more of your story! 😁

    Love your frankness. And thank you for all the great videos even though there were times you didn't feel like doing it anymore. You're an artist and a long distance hiker.

    This just popped up in my feed. ‘Panda? Oh yeah the cool guy I met in Anza Borrego and gave a lift to Julian.’ Glad to see you back making videos! Cheers.

    Awesome finish man. I'm glad to see that you were able to complete it. I think back 3 years ago to you and Second Chance and it feels like I was part of that journey...even from behind a computer screen. Glad you're doing well and still hiking.

    Wow! Panda's Back!! Welcome Back. I love viewing your video. What I really love is Panda's Good Good Vibrations. I look forward to you gracing us with your presence on whatever trail it may be. I'm a fan! FYI - I'll be heading back to the PCT next summer to finish what I'd started back in 2014, start from the iconic Bridge of the Gods northbound to the Canadian border - the Northern PCT Terminus. Thank you, for the sweet inspiration. Coconut Wireless (Burbank, Ca)

    I just stumbled across this video and was pleased to finally see the end of your PCT adventure. My wife and I followed you in 2019 and were disappointed when the videos stopped coming. Over the years we have watched a LOT of different people's PCT videos, but yours really stood out for not just the quality of the cinematography, but the masterful way you edited the footage to tell a captivating story. I studied your technique and made a lame attempt to emulate it when I recorded my own thru-hike (attempt) in 2020, but cringe with embarrassment when I watch the results. Oh well .... 😅
    But I'd like to get better at it in the future. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Panda- you are gifted in your ability to tell an amazing story- and to give me a glimpse into what it would be like if I were to ever do a long trail- or even backpack- I'm inspired!

    Glad to see you back to conclude the series and looking forward to what’s next! I also thru hiked in 2019, finishing on October 7. We had a big snowstorm in Stevens Pass around September 30 so there was a lot of new snow and can relate to being worn down at the end. Curious to know when you reached the northern terminus, looks like there was even more snow than when I came through. Thanks for sharing! ~Flamethrower

      No way! I finished on October 7th as well! You must have headed out through Manning Park then if I didn’t see you on your way out back to Harts Pass? Curious if we crossed paths in Mazama perhaps. Small world.

    It appears that u hiked in 2019?
    What were ur start & end dates?

  • @browsman2328

    I could be wrong but it seems to me that a thru hike is an inherently unhealthy endeavor both psychologically and physically.

    • @travelingpanda5108
      @travelingpanda5108  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s certainly a challenge that requires you to manage stress and have layers of plan and support in place physically and mentally. That said, I personally am much healthier both mentally and physically after having done multiple thru hikes.
