He will more then likely just get some free silver sky’s. Why make another strat style guitar when you got the Mayer one that already sells incredibly well & has got the mark of approval from strictly strat players like Sayce and others
Think he’s only playing the prs in order to get Fender to offer him a signature guitar. But listening to him play the Fender he’s on another level. You can’t beat a Strat 🎸
I havent heard anything from Phil since he played with Jeff Healy. Man he is a monster player. And i find those ads annoying also. Oh and dam can that man sing !!!
@@bestregardsband6912 well I just thought He was into vintage gear that's all . I mean he has a couple of early 60s strats and a vintage sg Jr and has made most of his music playin that along with vintage fender amps . It's jump to a modern guitar with different specs. Just wondering if it's because of reliability issues or is he trying to protect his vintage gear . Did Prs approach him maybe with a sponsorship? Lord knows fender should gave this guy a signature model strat. He also had a custom strat built by SVL. The blue one with the 70s style head stock
Umm.. NO!!! Philip has moved UP... to a PRS (that is a Paul Reed Smith) Strat-style instrument. The workmanship and playability on any PRS beats your standard run-of-the-mill Fender Strat by miles.
Last week went to a local mini-show and this guy had a Silver Sky and totally changed my perspective on it. Made me want to try one.
They are great guitars
You should, they are amazing
Damn, so Good!
He is ready to start a New Peace Machine........
Saw him open for ZZ Top prob 15 years ago... blew us away...so good!!
insane! where was this and what songs did he do?
Phil you are really workin it,Kickin.
Fender or prs must give sayce signature strat

If he came out with a fender tho I’d certainly buy it tho 😂
Don't think he want..

This was at the Dallas International Guitar Festival. All the artist had the DIGF promo and Stevie Ray Vaughan promo go on in the background
@@billyclay2 thanks for the heads up on that background promo. I thought I was looking at some bs ads.
😮👏🏻🎸&🎶😮
with seymour duncan guitar?
Reissue a Sayce 63 mother strat relic and Nos
That advertising in the background is annoying or I it just me?!
Prs? He is commutial?
I'd have to say yes... He doesn't just play Fender 😂
Anyone know whats the ampM
Looks like he's thru the super reverb.
I believe it was a Super Reverb, Vibro King, and a Princeton...
@@Sco3000 damnnn, that sweet sweet sound of that sweet amp
@@billyclay2 that's crazy if he stacked all 3
@@billyclay2 either that or he changed either way I'm surprised
Hi! Please, theme name minute 45. They know!? Thanks!

lol, dude is playing a US PRS Silver Sky a step up over most Fenders imo, and i have owned several of both.
@@elevenADPRs sucks
Fender is the best for rock blues.
Nah, it's all in your head
All hat and no cattle.
One of those guys who is amazing for about 3 or 4 songs then he just gives me a headache.
