    Awesome video. I use a nut on the valve to pull them up. I have this set up for all my outdoor home cleaning in the summer and Car washing in the winter. I use a 2 part cleaning 100:1 ratio and a spray sealant and use the pressure washing bay at the gas station, the results are crazy good vs their soap and such. I have them for lawn care too. My wife laughs at my collection of bottles. Detailing Engines the long wand I heated up and bent more of a 90 degree to get into those areas you see but can't get a straight shot on it. "YES" celebrate another who gets it like I do.

    I made 2 of these for my rinseless wash a few months back. I like to keep one filled with a surfactant based RW for presoak and the other with a polymer RW for my contact wash.

    I’m doing rinsless washes in my garage and ya man this is same as I do. I get a bucket of hot water and mix my Mckees V2 in it. I pre soak with rinsless as well. I still use dark fury on wheels and also turtle wax wheel cleaner with decon remover. Stuff works great. The pump sprayer to rinse the wheels. When I’m all done washing the car I then take my shop vac and vacuum up the water in the garage. I don’t have a drain unfortunately. For heat I’m using a Bauer torpedo heater from Harbor Freight. That thing kicks butt man. This is a game changer. Great stuff bro. Keep up the great videos. I’ll add a valve stem to mine as well. Side note…the harbor freight pump sprayer, don’t get one. The plastic is too thin and prone to pin holes.

      Thank you for the heads up. I haven’t tried the HF sprayer yet. The Bauer forced induction heater is a great option for heating a garage. It is definitely a little beast. Glad you are staying warm this winter! 👊🏽

    I appreciate this share. lol did you rig the HDX handheld 56oz ones? I use that with P&S absolute. I may use the gallon one you just displayed. For a rinsless was and use the handheld 560z with waterless wash and wax from superior products. For a prewash when my car is hammered with caked on dirt lol and wheels

      @ yeah I will downsize to a 32oz bottle SP WW. Good idea save money too. What do you use for wheels? I use super clean 4:1 32oz bottle with black microfiber clothes. With cheap Home Depot microfiber towels. For the RLW on the body and lower panels. I like HD rags I call them my disposable rags. Once they get dusty toss them and get some more for $11 😝

    What is your opinion on tech 582 choice ?do you use it straight or dilute it .

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Most of the time I use it diluted 1:1. I typically use it as a rinse aid or drying aid, but if I’m spraying it directly onto the dry paint, I’m probably using it full strength not always though.

    The only reason for the valve stem mod is to avoid having to pump the handle? If I’m not mistaken, couldn’t you just use the sprayer as is and not have to carry an air compressor? Thanks

    • @reeb9016
      @reeb9016 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Yep. This doesn't eliminate the pump. Just make easier/faster if you do have a compressor.

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The valve stem is totally optional! You can use your sprayer as is. No need for any modifications if you like it how it is out of the box

    I think the harbor freight one has to be cheaper but the hdx line and the harbor freight ones did not last long for me at all just a couple months and the o rings gave out I have the mad expensive IK sprayer now but have had 0 problems with it no more trying to fix a pump sprayer mid job or worry about having a backup 😂

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  วันที่ผ่านมา

      I have actually had the opposite experience. I use my IK sprays more but I used to use the HdX 64oz pump sprayers and never had a problem. They have much better o-rings from the factory than IK does. I frequently replace the o-rings on my IK sprayers but not really ever on my HDXs. I did a video on the o-rings for IK sprayers in the past if you want to check it out.

    • @WildLenny
      @WildLenny วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ thats wild I had multiple hdx hand pump sprayers fail all within a month of using with properly and methodically cleaning and rinsing I went to use one and pumped it up and the full on plastic bottle part started just spraying out the side 🤣 multiple the hose broke off and the time it held pressure wasn’t good and the endless threads on it was too much time then used harbor freight and those o rings and pressure wasn’t even worse and now have gotten the IK and no issues but tbh there are bad apples and quality control issues with every company tbh and that’s why the warranty’s and replacement parts are such an important thing which I have no comments or knowledge on from personal experience with any company lol i dont have time for all that haha

      @WildLenny วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ oh and I love your videos btw not saying you are wrong or your experiences are false just speaking from my experience which is obviously going to be different but nonetheless you are amazing and I love the knowledge and content and support you provide to our community ❤️

    • @jamiesdetailing
      @jamiesdetailing  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Definitely could be some quality control issues. I do like that IK has the rebuild/ maintenance kits for all of their sprayers 👌🏾 I really never have too many problems outside of the oring for the pump itself on any brand sprayer but I think that is to be expected. They are 50 cents at ace hardware though so no big deal.

      I've had all of em fail lol. Ik foamer came with messed up o rings, ik sprayer was ok, gosh I hate how much they have to be hand pumped for 20 seconds of spraying.
      I had a harbor freight 2 gallon one last less than 2 months, and a home depot one last 2 ish month. I have yet to buy the over hundred dollar ik

    Im not a rinseless fan , I've seen what can been done when not done right. I had a customer that had some guy that all he did was rinseless , guy called me wanted a quote for a coating. When I saw the Tahoe it was so swirled up that I told him he needed a minimum of a 1 step , I didn't feel comfortable putting a coating with the paint the way it was. He decided not to book but hey it's my reputation so I kindly declined myself

    • @WildLenny
      @WildLenny วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The swirls didn’t necessarily come from the guy doing rinseless it can happen from driving on the highway it can happen before he started washing it and it could happen in the drying process and it has a lot of factors the rinseless wash doesn’t scratch if done correctly it scratches less than a pressure washer slamming water and debris against the paint and using soap that doesn’t emulsify and encapsulate like rinseless much love ❤
